Karn was still injured... Oooh, poor thing. She rubbed his side before... something wrapped around her waist. "Arara? A-aah!" She gave a little shriek as she was lifted from the ground unexpectedly and settled on to Karn's back. She straightened her robes and lay herself down, holding on to his side as he takes off. It was way different than riding a horse... She waved as they passed Wes and Sayuri, though Karn left before she could say anything herself. When they stopped, and while Karn sniffed at the wall, Trinity drew an arrow from her quiver, activating the magic thereof and producing a pink arrow with heart-shaped fletchings and a suction cup on the end. She draws it and leans over, shooting it back at Karn's leg. It stuck to him as it injected a bit of magic energy Trinity invested before falling off. The wall crumbled away and Trinity looked carefully into the dark caverns beyond. "Looks like ya found it. Don't go jumping out from behind corners, ok? We don't want to run into their fight unwittingly." She placed her hand over one of her pockets, at which point she realized she still had the lacrima from before. Good... she could stay in contact.

Mayt --- Council Library
Mayt shrugged, looking up at where Melina was reading her book. "If she wanted to kill us, I feel like she would have already. Beyond that, she may just fear the repercussions from Jamie. I'll agree with the not trusting her however, knowing what she does, but Jamie puts up with her because he knows she won't cross him. I think anyway." He shot a withering look at the blood mage, but he stopped and looked up as the council member who he and Damian had been fighting after Carrie showed up came into view. "Trust me, I have no doubt she'd kill someone who couldn't fight back in a heartbeat if it behooved or helped her in any way. Seeing as she's clearly murdered people, and is quite willing to stoop to blackmail." He crossed his arms, looking at the bookshelf nearest to him. "As for changes, I don't have much to say, I don't keep an eye on the actions of the Council."

Sasha sighed and said "master jamie normally accepts everyone. Or jarvis. I've stamped people before, Lazarus. Yes, it's a sucky time to join, but we can't just stop excepting members because of that. It will be okay, Lazarus" she gave him a smile, "we are protected here in the guild. Don't fret" she approached Joshua, giving him the stamp, "but perhaps it is better to not take a job yet." She looked to Amelia, and laughed "what, with things destroyed? More often then not, but some members do get a bit carried away with their fights. Most of the guild is currently in Kabo, and should be returning soon. If all goes well" was everyone okay? She hoped so.

"If someone comes here picking a fight, I'll give em one. I'll work on paying off the door later"Joshua said, shrugging" Sides, the more people fighting by your side the better right? So, drop the poor attitude and relax until something does happen." Amelia heard about the possibility of a fight and looked nervous but nodded. She found a chair at the bar and sat there. Unlike Joshua she didn't request her stamp yet, as she was unsure this guild was right for her yet. She didn't want to join only to end up leaving because of some reason. Her eyes remained on Sasha and Lazarus, the latter's attitude definitely putting her on edge.

Lazarus listen to Joshua, before punching him on the arm. "I like your style. But you should be more composed. Sometimes it's better to avoid a fight. But yes. If someone does 'come looking for one' they will get a taste of my rare god slayer and angel magic, along with a showering of Sasha's wonderful ice mold magic." He grinned. "However, you should not underestimate the people who may come for us... they roughed even myself and Sasha up pretty bad." He smiled. "But if you are both to be Phoenix wing members, I'm sure you're up to it." He grinned again pumping his fist. He noticed the young lady seemed quiet fearful of him, and he couldn't have that. He pulled up a chair at the same table as her and spoke softly. "You know... I mustn't have been much older than you when I left home." He sighed. "I know stuff can be scary, and I know you'll think 'Lazarus Rex' is a womanizing, power greedy, bastard, but..." He place his hand on the wood right in front of her. "...I'll always put everything on the line to protect my friends. everyone in this guild is my family, and by default, my friend..." He smiled and stood up, going back to his normal, grunting voice. "Tell me about your magical powers, how are you going to defend your new friends?" He grinned, putting a friendly arm around Sasha and squeezing tight, almost lung collapsingly.

Sasha let Lazarus talk, as he tried to put Amelia at ease. She rolled her eyes at the womanizing comment, amused, and her breath went out in an "ack" sound as he squeezed her. She took a moment to get it back, before saying "I think you're making it worse, Lazarus. He's really sweet, once you get over the womanizing bastard stuff" she smiled at him, "the point is...Phoenix wing is home to us, in many ways. I came here after my parents died, after my mentor died, and...found a place I could belong. Phoenix wing is....a family" she said, letting herself lean into Lazarus. ----- Penny thought on Mayts words for a time. "I think it's more she doesn't know what Master Jamie would do. Or is going to do. I just don't like her. Why did she want to attack me at the train station the other day?" She sighed heavily, and drank some of the water that was left from the bottle.

"I was calm up until a day ago. The third bandit attack on the caravan I was traveling with was more than I needed." Joshua said, shrugging" As for my magic... if you wanna know about it wait and see for yourself. Though I hope I won't have to use it. Better to not advertise your main weapon." Amelia meanwhile took the comforting with a smile and she visibly relaxed. When asked about her magic, she reached under her shirt and pulled out a small locket, with was dotted in small black gems. "I... I'm a spirit mage. My specialty is dealing with the spirits of the dead. I can see and talk to them. As a result I can form contracts and summon them to aide me." She said. She didn't bring up her elemental spirits. That would involve bringing up her wings and she would prefer to never bring that up. Or at least avoid it for as long as possible.

Grane noticed Maddox appear right in front him suddenly with his palm placed right in front of him. After that a explosion in front of him blew him away against the cavern's wall with his body denting the wall. "Ha, finally boy, you're putting up a fight. Now let's see how long you'll last in this fight. Let's see how well you do in this battle of speed." Grane disappeared and reappeared in front of Maddox with his fiery blue arm already in the of a drill punch motion directed at the wizard's chest. If this attack somehow missed, then Maddox should be prepared for more attacks appearing around him since both of them can teleport.
Wes was near the room he needed to be when he heard something approach them. A strange chimera that ran beside saying something really fast and scurrying away somewhere else. Strange, was the only thought that went through his mind when that happened. Once he was in front of the room, Wes looked through the small transparent opening in the door and began unlocking all of the locks that were attached on the door. When he opened the door, there was giant vault in the room. Remembering the combination, he again slowly opened the sealed path and revealed a long staircase that was lit with a bright light around it. From how long the stairs went, the room didn't seem to be part of the previous part of the building. As he progressed through the stairs he looked at Sayuri. "You know, you didn't have to follow me. The way to the thing should be fine for me with the magic I'm wearing. But if you really want to stay, then you could probably help." He said as grinned and continued walking through the stairs. Eventually, the room lead to a giant door that was also locked. Beside the door on both its left and right were sizable pressure plates for anyone to stand on and a value on each side. "Okay, all we need to do stand on the pressure plates, turn the valve about 180 degrees towards the door, and a handle should appear once that's done all in that order. It's easy, look." Wes followed the instructions that he just said and placed his hand on the handle. "Once the handle appear, we both pull at the same time." He said as he looked at Sayrui, hoping she was okay with what was going on.

Maddox's eyes widened when Grane recovered so quickly from his last attack. He's definitely not human, Maddox thought, recomposing himself as a grin formed on his face. "Let's see." When Grane appeared in front of him again, this time taking the offensive initiative, Maddox's grin vanished. He leaned back, letting gravity assist him in dodging the opening punch, though the flames seared his shirt as they passed on by. Manually dodging against someone of Grane's caliber, particularly while still in the air, was now beyond Maddox's capability. On his next attack, Maddox teleported back to the ground, out of harm's way. Wasting no time, trying to get Grane before he could teleport to follow him, Maddox thrust his left palm forward. A ball of red energy was flung at the Council member. But despite the speed of the attack, Grane was able to keep up with Maddox and the ball of light missed. It struck the ceiling, creating a large explosion that shook the cavern and caused some small rocks to fall from the ceiling. I've never fought someone that could keep up with me before, Maddox thought to himself, teleporting away from Grane's next fiery strike. Nor have I faced someone that could stand after the attacks I've dealt so far, let alone fight back with such vigor. Perhaps I underestimated the Magic Council. Perhaps I overestimated my own capacity? The larger, draconian man was upon him again, forcing Maddox to jump back. He almost landed in the large lake, stopping just short and wincing slightly before teleporting into the air. Rather than wait for Grane to come after him, Maddox teleported back towards Grane. The maneuver was an attempt to fake him out and catch him off guard. His right foot was glowing red with power when he appeared before Grane, before shooting out in an attempt to kick his gut. The powerful attack missed the target as Grane himself teleported away. He appeared behind Maddox, already continuing his attack. The red-haired mage teleported again, reappearing in the air towards the top of the cavern. "You are certainly a terrifying opponent, Grane," Maddox said, before holding both his arms in front of his chest with his palms facing toward each other. "It isn't a stretch of the imagination to say that you probably could destroy my guild." Red light began glowing between his hands now. "You have been testing me so far to gauge how threatening I really am, and that alone is enough. It is time for me to stop holding back." He thrust both his palms forward and the red light from his hands grew brighter. Then he vanished. Maddox reappeared on the ground several feet behind Grane, in the same pose he was in when he teleported. The red light took solid form, blasting forth in a powerful wave aimed at the center of Grane's back. The ground underneath the wave, despite not touching the magic itself, was disrupted by the energy flying over it and scattering dust and small rocks off to the sides along its path.

"Hmm... Showcase magic as something other then a weapon... That's not a bad idea. Although they might show up... I may just do that. It would probably be worth the risk. Well that's something for later," he mutters to himself looking through the book. He glances at the injured pair and smirks. He looks back at the book, "What do you think about the offical story being different than the truth? Would you be able to stick to the official version?"
Sayuri
She follows Wes closely and raises an eyebrow when the transformation mage, in his chimera form again, ran by with Trinity on his back. She was pretty sure he said hi but didn't catch more then that, Well he is a strange one. I wonder where they're going,' they arrived at a door and Wes began unlocking it. It opened and revealed a flight of stairs, "Ha, I've come this far I'm not leaving now! Though I kinda wish I had a lacrima to contact Master Jamie," she follows the directions he gave her and grabs the handle, "Ready when you are."

Jarvis
Interacting with:Damian, James, Karn Jarvis had a Lacrima in his hands as he followed Damian, James and Karn. He was ready for anything, especially after seeing the damage done to both Penny and Mayt. Why Maddox had to take Grane away, he didn't know. It just made it harder, but it also put him in Danger. Jarvis had always been wary of Maddox, for the simple fact that he didn't seem to be a team player, evident by the fact that Jarvis was sure he had rarely, if ever, teamed up with anyone. While he could honor the fact that Maddox was fighting for Phoenix Wing, it frustrated him to no end that he had done this. "Are you two just going to stand there, or will you actually do something? You both have anger, which iis all good and well, but if you aren't going to do anything, we may as well go" Jarvis said, clearly trying to get them to react, instead of just doing nothing, as the time went passed. What if something happened to those in the library while they were just standing around?
Master Jamie
Master Jamie took a moment or two to look around, accessing what the damage was, as well as figuring out where the rest of his members were. She ran a hand through her hair, it dislodge dust and other particles from it. After checking on Penny and Mayt once more, Jamie sighed, and resigned to it, he headed back outside to where Phones was sleeping. Jamie paused for a moment. What to do here? tyically, load noise would just be pointless on him. So. Physical then. She leaned down, and pinched Phones's arm. "Wake up"
Penny
Interacting with:Masahiko, Mayt Penny looked up, and she didn't even need to think on it. "I will stick to the story. It's not that far from the truth, is it? Beyond that, its to protect my guild, and I will do that. I'm not adverse to lying."

Mayt --- Council Library.
He just sighed. "I'll say whatever the hell you want me to." Mayt sighed, and looked over at Penny, giving her a shrug, and sighed. "I stopped caring about the moment I was promoted to S class honestly. Seeing as from that moment on my name was tied to this event. So what the hell ever." He threw his hands up in the air in a defeated fashion. "My only request is I get my katana back from whoever took it." He ran a hand through his hair before scooting away from everyone and turning around, grabbing a random book and starting to read it, putting it back away after a moment, not enjoying the subject matter.
Melina --- Council Library
Melina closed the book, still thinking about what Karn had said about vampirism. She already used blood to restore her power yes, but she hadn't figured out how to use blood to keep herself alive. While she knew she couldn't use this to become immortal, it was an interesting prospect. In the short time she had spend in the book she hadn't quite been able to find anything on the subject, but she was certain such a thing was in either this book or another. She wet her lips before looking up, towards Jamie. "Hey! Jamie! You have a guild library right? I assume it wouldn't be too much trouble if I perused it, correct?" She was certain someone like Master Jamie would have a wealth of knowledge of all types of magic.

Lazarus laughed a little at Joshua's response. "Excellent. When we are done here you will have to show me what you've got in the courtyard!" He grinned cracking his knuckles. When the young girl spoke he listening carefully. She had contracts with the dead. Lost souls who neither went to heaven nor hell. Lazarus knew a fair amount about this magic. He knelt down. "Cool! It takes someone with a lot of magic power to sustain themselves whilst using your magic no?" He stood up and folded his arms. "i'm impressed." he said beaming.

Joshua smirked at Lazarus' challenge. " Well, that'll be something to look forward too. Try not to show me too much before our little spar." He said. Amelia's face turned red when Lazarus commented her on her magic and how it took someone with a lot of magical power to sustain such summons. He even said he was impressed, which made her go redder still. "Its nothing really." She said, causing Joshua to laugh. "Look at how red she is. It adorable." He commented, after he was done.

Interacting with: Lazarus, Amelia, joshua Location:magnolia, guild hall. Sasha sighed heavily as joshua issues a challenge "you're not fighting. not at the moment. We can't afford it" she said, giving Lazarus a nudge. She put her hands on her hips, looking to Joshua. "You can just go beat against a wall of you need to let out some extra anger." She looked to Amelia, and said "that's cool. I don't know much about spirit magic. How does it actually work?" She asked "is it like celestial magic was?" She was curious, and liked to learn new things.

Jamie wasn't a fool. She knew there was a lot of valuable information in the guild library."So. You can either join the guild, or ask me what you want to know" he said, giving a shrug

Lazarus chuckled. The newcomer wouldn't beat him if they sparred, but he admired his attitude. He would go far as a phoenix wing wizard. The young girl had gone red. "You shouldn't be embarrassed. Be proud of your magic. You weald a rare magic form, so it is your responsibilty that people see it in good light." He grinned, before turning to Sasha. "After this is all over I'll let him have at me. But for now. We need to protect that." He gestured to the satchel. It seemed they had all gotten distracted. "Take it out Sasha, let me see it if you wouldn't mind??" He held his hand out.

Joshua glanced in Sara's direction and raised an eyebrow but said nothing. The girl needed to relax. If she was stressing out, she might mentally exhaust herself before any actual fights began, assuming any actually occurred. Sighing, he pulled out a small, smooth stone and drew his katana from it sheathe. Even though the adamantine blade rarely, if ever, needed maintenance, he did it anyway to pass the time. Amelia had gone redder and began looking at the ground. "My magic could be seen as necromancy and I know people hate necromancy. The less I show it the better." She said before thinking about Sasha's question. She knew the basics of Celestial Spirit magic. She knew how similar her magic was to Celestial magic." Its very similar but instead of finding keys, I find souls. I form contacts and they're stored in the gems on this locket."

This was a topic Sasha found very interesting, but she didn't want to make Amelia uncomfortable. Before she asked another question, she took the book out, and gave it to Lazarus. The fairy tail guild mark on it seemed to glow and glitter, and Sasha wouldn't have been surprised if the book was actually written in some code. Not that she could read it well in anycase. She turned her attention back to Amelia. "it sounds very interesting. If you don't mind me asking, how do you find the souls? Can anyone who has died be useful to you?" she asked softly, thinking of her parents, her little brother. "and how can you...use? Work with?...them?"

Grane
Location: Magic Council's Aquifer Cavern Grane noticed the wizard's slight surprised as he was able to recover quickly. As Maddox tried attacking and attempting to fake out Grane with his teleports, both his ideas still didn't work out as anticipated as Grane teleported with every encounter as well. When Maddox appeared in the air with what seemed like he was charging something and teleported again. He sensed Maddox presence with a large amount of magic energy behind him, If he isn't holding back anymore more as a says, then this sound be interesting hopefully. Grane stood his ground and pulled his arms crossed to his chest. "Iron rock wall!" as his arms motioned to his chest, two giant rock formations grew from the ground to create a wall between Maddox and himself. As Maddox light wave was fired, Grane could feel the wave scattering dust and small rocks off to the sides along its path, the wave was even strong enough to penetrate through the rock wall and directly hit Grane from behind with a explosion as it impacted him. It was difficult to see through the smoke and dust from the explosion, but as it cleared, Grane could be seen with his back scratched and charred from the impact of the explosion and the ground around him formed a crater from the blast. "Ha, I have to tell you boy, I have not felt something like that in awhile. You should feel proud about your magic if it can do things like that. But tell me Maddox, why do you call yourself a dark mage when you are supposedly part of a light guild, or was the light guild just a ruse this entire time?" He said with his back still facing Maddox.
Wes
Location: Magic Council's Sealed Chambers Once Sayrui got the handle, both twisted their handle. Once it was turned, air could be heard going through pipes could be heard from behind the wall and the door, slowly, the door opened by itself. Inside, revealed a long white room that led straight down into a brightly lit deep pit but was brightly lit with a balcony reaching over to a very primitive kind of elevator lift in the center of the room and built some metal that wasn't even rusted which could mean that it wasn't a long time ago. The ground below can easily be seen from the entrance that they just came through thanks to the lighting and white interior. After entering the elevator, Wes turned to Sayrui. "Before we reach the floor below, I just want to tell you to be careful once we pass through the last door." Once the descent finally reached its end, Wes got out of the lift and went to the door in front of him and began unlocking it. Behind the door, was another brightly lit white room with a glass wall that divided the room with the door on one side and a ball of light floating over some lacrima. As he approached the glass wall, gasps for air could be heard from inside the ball with what sounded like a human's voice that pleaded with little life that it had left from inside. "...I...I...a...ssume, you came back to ridicule me... have you?" said the wispy voice that sounded quite difficult and haunting to hear.
