[IC] Phoenix Wing (A Fairy Tail RP-Always Open, Open)

Sasha surprised herself by snarling "Phoenix wing is not a dark guild, nor are there any dark mages in its midst. We serve the people of fiore!" she took the few steps towards the woman, stepping close, she pushed the woman back "get out. Get out now, or you will regret it!" her voice was low, cold. Sasha wouldn't take this, wouldn't take this...stranger, this horrible person trying to throw dirt on Phoenix Wing, on its members, on what they were. For a few brief seconds it seemed like the temperature dropped a few degrees, and Sasha was shaking, anger she has rarely felt chugging through her.

[Damian] Damian perked up as if he knew something James didn't and simply moved. James barely had the time to keep up, Damian moved with such practiced grace. He switched one blade to the Hercules Blade and slashed through the door, both cutting it in two and shattering it with the force of the blow. Moving into the room, finding the two combatants wasn't hard, although the arrows zipping around the room were something that needed to be kept in mind. "James, you know how to attack as a pair?" James nods quickly and they move in almost perfect tandem when the close with Grane after Maddox's attack. Damian switches back to the Hermes Blades, and unleashes a series of quick slashes and thrusts that force the lizardman back. James follows it up with a shield bash to his chest and a single slash to but him further back before Damian came over his back as he kneeled and slammed both feet into the lizardman's chest, making him stumble back. "Take a breather, Maddox, this one's on us." Damian's feet slid into a combat stance at the same time his blades shimmered briefly with magic energy. One would never know it just by looking at the swords, but for the first time in years, he'd allowed his sword blades to be sharpened to the point of taking a life. His time as a soldier was about to show it's face. [James] "Divine Shield!" The soft yellow glow enveloped both Damian and James and the Paladin stepped up to stand next to Damian. He appraised the large reptile, noting that he'd taken a considerable amount of damage from his fight with Maddox already, but that he was still able to keep going spoke of both incredible willpower and endurance. Still, he hefted his shield and took aim. "Divine Light!" The beam of light flew from the shield again, slamming into it's target. "I told you once already, you have chosen to side with the Shadow, with evil. You are my enemy and I will not hold back."

Karn Fiore || Kabo || Council Library Interacting: Penny

Smiling he stood and stretched a little, picking up Jarvis's jacket and putting it on so he didn't lose it. Just in case he had to transform some more, he didn't want to lose it after the man kindly lend it to him. It was a bit big on him, Karn being quite the tiny and slender boy in comparison to most regular guys. So it made him look a bit more childish, but he didn't really mind. "Well, at least there is more fresh air in here. Minus the debris." he chuckled as he looked Penny over to make sure she was really alright enough to be moving around. "Maybe I should go find Wes and Sayuri to warn them about the building." he suggested, as he glanced around the others in the room to make sure they were somewhat alright.

The tan woman first seemed casual and uncaring of the approaching Sasha, clearly not believing that the other woman would do anything to her. She was visibly surprised when she was almost shoved out of her seat. The surprise wore off quickly, however, and she stood up. "Allow me to introduce myself," she muttered, reaching out and grabbing Sasha by the throat. With seemingly no effort, she lifted the ice mage off the ground, with only that one hand. "My name is Beatrix. You can deny what I say all you want but I'm speaking the truth. Today is your lucky day... Sasha Shin. You aren't on my list." After suffocating her for a moment, Beatrix casually tossed Sasha across the room toward Lazarus, presuming he would catch her. "You want proof, don't you? But even then you may try to deny me... Of course I don't know why I'm wasting my time talking to you underlings when I should be talking to your master... oh wait, you won't tell me where he is!"

Sasha spun, twisting through the air on instant, landing smoothly on hands and feet, launching herself up. well, at least some training was useful she thought. "you are false! You are a liar! GET OUT!" she roared the last two words, the ice forming over her hands in her anger, the ice mage uncharacteristicly hot tempered. How dare this woman! She approached once more, this time with slight weariness but not caring about the danger of it. Her expression was dark, and all she wanted was to get this woman out of the guild. "you shall never reach our master" soft, yet hard her voice was dangerous as she stalked towards this woman.

Penny

Penny smiled slightly "yeah, but I imagine it night be damaging to the books" she said with amusement, finish off the bottle of water. She looked over to Maser Jamie again, then back to Karn. "I'll go with you"

Karn Fiore || Kabo || Council Library Interacting: Penny

Tensing a little at the sight of the water bottle, the blonde boy's emerald eyes nervously stared at it as Penny finished it off. Even if it was just simple drinking water, he couldn't help but fear the familiar sense of fear snap his tendons into a tight position, as if ready to bolt as far as away as he could. Mentally, he whined about his body being uncooperative and acting on instinct alone. Maybe he lived in the wild too long? Since quite a few animals don't like water either. Like cats. Mhmm food for thought he supposed. As Penny said she would go with Karn smiled and nodded before looking at everyone else in the room and happily waving his arm excitedly in the air, any previous emotion brought by past memories gone and back to his happy go lucky self. "We're going to look for Gravo and YuYu and any other stragglers in the building! Stay safe!" he chirped before bouncing along back into the maze like corridors of the crumbling Council Building. "Just let me know if you need a ride or something, or a Fira." Karn chirped happily to Penny. Once again, eager to assist in any way he could.

[Joshua Tamashii]

Before Sasha got close to Beatrix, Joshua blocked her path with his sheathed sword. "Stay there." He ordered. His carefree attitude was gone, now replaces by an ice cold seriousness. Turning back to Beatrix, he spoke in a calm yet heated tone." I would take their advice. Leave here otherwise..." Joshua moved and he moved quick. In the blink of an eye he covered the distance between himself and Beatrix, unsheathed his blade, and pressed it against Beatrix's neck. "... you won't leave here unharmed. Now, kindly escort yourself out of here, or I'll drag you out." He finished, moving the blade just enough to draw a single drop of blood.

Masahiko

He looks around and sighs, "Well at least we don't actually have much of importance in this library. At least not that's irreplaceable," he walks over to where Karn and Penny are sitting, "I wouldn't worry about them too much. They're old friends. There is no way they would let anything happen to each other. Do you have any way to contact Jarvis?"

Sayuri

She looks at the Lacrima and smiles when asked if she knew who it was, "Probably someone who lost to my dad and the rest of the Council. I may have heard of you. I usually stayed out of Council business unless my help was asked for which wasn't often. I also keep to myself most of the time so world news isn't really something I keep track of," she continues as the starts to leave, "No prison lasts forever. The question is can it out last who it contains."

Beatrix placed her hands on her hips and watched unflinchingly as first Sasha and then Joshua approached. She didn't even move as he appeared before her with a sword at her neck. She looked straight into his eyes and smirked. Casually and slowly she raised her left hand and wiped her finger across her neck where the sword broke skin, wiping the blood on it. She examined the blood on her finger before licking it off and grinning at Joshua. "If I had ten Jewel for every time somebody told me that, I would be rich." Her entire body rotated like a high-speed drill, bouncing Joshua's blade away from her and possibly making him lose his balance. After a split-second of that she stopped and let out a punch towards his chest. Or rather, a shove. In her hand was a piece of paper she forced onto him, granted with enough force to possibly knock him entirely over. "As much as I would love to break you, doing so would make it harder to get to my targets. Now tell me... eh, I don't recognize you. But whatever..." "Tell me if you recognize that person." The paper she pushed onto his chest was an old and partially crumpled wanted poster missing its two top corners. It was a teenager with blue hair and a straight face, but notably the name at the bottom read Wes Gusto. "And then tell me again how I'm a liar. Of course..." She reached into her shorts' pockets and withdrew two more pieces of paper. "I have more where that came from." She took a step back now, a victorious grin on her face.

Sasha

Sasha glared and said "wes gusto hasn't been a member of this guild for the last three months" that was as close to the truth as she would get. "So sorry you wasted your time. Oh. That sounded sarcastic. Oh well" she said, stepping up beside Joshua to see the paper, seeing the picture of Wes, the name. "But again, you are mistaken. wes was never a dark mage. You information is false. Leave this guild. But" she said suddenly, a spark of an idea forming in her mind "I know where he is. Too bad I'm not going to tell you"she shrugged, watching this woman warily, watching for any sign of attack, any sign that this woman was about to do anything. She looked over to Lazarus, and said "What do you think? Give her ten seconds, and if she's not out then, show her our team work?"

Penny

Penny smiled at Karn's eagerness, at his willingness to help. "I'll be okay, thanks" she said, watching him, "But what about you? Surely you must be tired, too. How long can you go changing shapes? How many times?" she asked, feeling that she should know the limits of her guild mates, even if Karn didn't yet have the mark. She needed to be able to protect them, after all, she was S class. Even if she didn't know how she had come to be it. What had Damian been thinking, doing that? Surely she couldn't live up to the expectations of S class. She sighed softly, shaking her head at the thoughts. She couldn't change what was, could she now?

Master Jamie

"Of course I have contact with Jarvis. You forget his Lacrima's, Masahiko, and after we used them so many times today" Jamie said, but his tone was light, almost joking, as she took out a lacrima, "He will contact iif there's anything se-" the Lacrima lightened, and Jarvis spoke.

Jarvis

Jarvis watched the battle, ready to intervene if he had to. He listened and paid attention to all that was happening to the other guide members, and when there seemed some sort of commotion in the guild hall, with Sasha and lazarus, Jarivs frowned heavily. Why did so much have to be happening, now? Why couldn't any of the guild members go twenty minutes without getting into trouble? He reached for the Lacrima connected to Jamie, "Jamie? Something appears to be up with Sasha and Lazarus. If you are satisfied you can get everyone out, I don't think these guys are in any danger of having the craven fall on them. But I will leave some Transportation Lacrima with Trinity" After getting the all clear for that, Jarvis followed Trintiy, and when he found her, handed her the three Transportation Lacrima, saying "Just smash them, and think of the outside" before doing so with the one he had in his hand, appearing in the guild hall.

Lazarus clenched his fists. He was angry. But that wouldn't help them here. He knew what Sasha expected from him, but he wouldn't. "No Sasha. We don't need to. This woman will leave here without violence." He stepped forward. "Sheath your blade Joshua. She is stronger than she looks." He paused. "Beatrix..." He grunted. "Wes gusto disappeared. It was tragic. He was a personal friend of mine, and I can assure you, not a dark mage. Whoever you are working for has fed you false information. My apologies for your traveling all this way for nothing." He folded his arms after releasing his fists calmly. "I would advise you leave now, before the master does return. Make those claims in front of Master Jamie, and you will not be treated so kindly as what I am bestowing onto you." He grunted before sighing. "You have been warned. Stay... and be silent, leave... or continue with this nonsense..." He looked at Sasha. "If you were to choose to latter..." He release a large amount of magic and glowed white for a moment. "We will crush you where you stand." He released his magic and spoke more calmly. "I'm not a good person. I am a very bad person. But i'm not evil. If you want me to do very bad things to you.... carry on."

Beatrix's eyes narrowed. "That's cute..." she remarked in regards to the threats she received. With a sigh, she shrugged her shoulders. "I suppose I myself can't prove anything on that one, but you seem suspiciously quick to dismiss the wanted poster. Says that guy destroyed his own town, nearly killing everyone in it. I personally find it hard to believe a normal mage would do that. But I guess that's just me." She let go of one of the papers, letting it fall to the floor face-up. It had a picture of a young woman with red hair. "I'll stop wasting my time on people I don't care about," Beatrix said, before holding up the remaining paper for the three in front of her to see. It was a teenager with spiky red hair and red eyes, but the section of the wanted poster didn't have a name. "Recognize this face?" For emphasis, she took a step forward and held it even closer to the others. "Or are you going to tell me that this murdering psychopath isn't in your guild either? Do you even screen your members when they join?" Her hand holding the top of the paper clenched tightly into a fist. "Because this guy hasn't just killed a few people. He massacred dozens. Maybe even a hundred. Including his own parents. He doesn't even need a weapon or his magic to kill. I've seen it with my own two eyes..."

Karn Fiore || Kabo || Council Library Interacting: Penny

At Penny's questions, Karn hummed a little as he thought about how to explain his magic. It was kinda both nice and not to have someone concerned for him. On the one hand it made him feel like someone, on the other he didn't want to worry others. Still, he wouldn't think on it for now. "Yeah, I'm pretty tired. After all, I kinda didn't get much rest before I came on this little trip. I kinda have a poor sense of direction if I don't know what I'm smelling for so it took me awhile to find your Guild. That and getting blown through layers of building didn't feel so good." he chuckled before smiling. "But I'm still alright. I just probably don't have enough magic to take on another difficult fight. It takes more magic transforming into a span of different things at once rather than staying in one form. Even my Chimera I can stay as for a week without battle. Though it's probably down to a day or two currently. But I can still transform a bit now, especially after I took that nap with Mythy. So as long as I don't get overly upset, we're fine." the short blonde feminine boy grinned. As the older man went to them, speaking about how Sayuri and Wes would be fine then Jarvis contacting Jamie about the situation. "Well, that's good at least. Though I'm not sure that will stay true if all of them down there goes crazy with the fight. Plus there could be regular people in the building as well. But if there's trouble at the Guild Hall, that would be bad too depending on what it is." Karn said as he crossed his arms thoughtfully as he tried to think through all the scenarios until his head hurt. Until he defaulted to gazing up at Penny with wide green eyes as if saying, 'lead me' while being curious to what she thought was best.

[Joshua Tamashii]

Joshua sheathed his blade as asked and took a deep breathe to calm down. He seriously wanted to hurt this brat. True her magic was interesting but nothing his blade couldn't handle. Plus the punch, while impressive, was far from the worse blow he had ever taken. He sat down again and waited for something. Then Amelia spoke up. "Beatrix Velente right? Do you know anything about a dark guild called White Hydra?" She asked suddenly.

Sasha

A laugh escaped sasha and she said "if you don't believe a single mage could do something like that, then you don't know Phoenix Wing" she said, but any more words trailed off, as her eyes followed the picture on the ground. Penny. An involuntary gasp escaped her, and she stiffened. She knew Penny hadn't done anything wrong, at least not to warrent a a warrent poster. She shifted, looking at the other Poster. Maddox. While she didn't actually know much about Maddox, she knew that he was at least trustworthy for the guild. "we aren't going to let you take any of them. You will not harm them, nor will you even get close to them. They aren't here, and I am not going to tell you where they are. And I won't let you find out" she said, standing straight, forget that she had her satchel on, that she was already half tired, forgetting it all, knowing she had to protect her guild.

Penny

Penny sighed softly and said "I think we still need to find Sayuri. No offense, but I don't trust these people, and given what's happened and the fact that she is with us now, she could be in danger. Has anyone seen her since Karn did?if they were going up, then I guess I can head outside, and fly up. Where were they going, what direction?" she asked Karn, glancing to Masahiko and saying as well "what's up there, that Sayuri would go with this person?" It seemed like there was so much to do, and yet not much to do. It unnerved Penny. And the fact that Karn looked to her, just made her a bit freaked out. She supposed she better take him with her, if he could shift into the bird again. She stretched slightly, waiting for replies.

jarvis

Jarvis watched what appeared to be going on in the guild hall. He sighed heavily. Why did it always seem like the guild was in Choas? He walked up to the strange woman, figuring the two behind Lazarus and Sasha werent a worry. He looked at the posters, grabbed them all, tearing the one the girl had on her hand, and tore them all up, into many pieces. "oh. Look. Now it's confetti" He crossed his arms over his chests the large, dark skinned man looking down on the woman, as if to say try it, I dare you

"You misunderstood me..." Beatrix said, visible irritation on her face. "I wasn't going to take them. I was going to k-." She stopped mid-sentence when someone she didn't notice before snatched the paper out of her hands and tore it up. Her irritation turned into a total scowl as he made his joke and crossed his arms. Without hesitation, she grabbed him by his shirt and looked straight into his eyes. "You bastard!" she shouted at him, pulling slightly to bring him a bit closer to her eye level. "That was the only one left! I'd have to travel hundreds of miles to get another!" The tanned woman lifted her other arm, fist poised to strike, before she heard Amelia speak up. She eased her grip on Jarvis as she looked over at the girl. "How... how did you know my last name?" In her head she knew that she had a record and it was possible that somebody could know her. But nobody had ever recognized her by name before. And on top of that, she asked about White Hydra. "Of course I know about White Hydra." Beatrix let go of Jarvis now and entirely faced Amelia, lifting up her right leg and pointing to the guild mark on her thigh. "I'm the only living person with it's mark. Unless Maddox didn't remove his." She lowered her foot back to the ground and glared back at Jarvis before giving a loud huff. "Wouldn't surprise me if he didn't. Apparently this guild just lets wandering murderers in so I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't remove old marks." Now she casually pointed towards the little girl. "Now how do you know about a guild that's been dead for three years?" Despite her appearance seeming to ignore the adults now, Beatrix was on her guard. She knew she was quick and could likely defeat them if they didn't spread out. "You know what? I think it's story time." With that Beatrix pulled back the seat she had taken earlier and sat back down in it. "The girl can tell us all about White Hydra and then I can fill in the blanks. Sounds like a good way to pass the time."

Thinking about the question asked, he tried to remember where exactly Sayuri was, his mind was mostly focused on the trail he was following so he didn't pay too much attention in exactly where he was. Playing through the memory in his head when he slightly slowed to say his hello, he clicked his tongue a little. "They were pretty deep down in the tower. I think heading to some locked up door. I don't know where it leads though." Karn answered before his body transformed into a hawk sized bird with long feathers and gingerly landed on Penny's left shoulder.

Masahiko

Karns comment catches his attention. He moves to block Penny from walking out with a serious expression, "I'm sorry but I will not allow you to go down there. The area they were headed to is restricked. Council members and approved personel only. What's down there is too dangerous for outsiders to get involved with. I'll go if needed though I might let Jamie down there if he believes it neccesary. Otherwise no one else will go," he looks at Jamie, "I'm fairly sure it isn't actually a threat but I'm not willing to take the risk. If you want to go warn someone about the collapse find other people in the building. If it takes too long for them to come up I'll get them."

Jarvis

Jarvis stayed planted right where he was, not moving an inch, even when the woman pulled him towards her, she would find that he didn't move. It was almost as if he appeared to be a statue. Frozen in place. He just smiled. But at the mention of Whyte hydra, Jarvis's expression went dark. "the master, and myself are well aware of that Dark Guild, and if you were a part of it, and hunting some of our members to kill" He had caught that she had stopped before finishing the word kill "Then I will bring you down"

Sasha

Sasha realised that her hands were grazed, quite badly, from catching herself on the floor. Figuring that she should bind them, to prevent any slippage, she opened her satchel, taking out the book and her drawing book, to reach for the first aid supplies she had there. Even as she reached it, the book grew warmer as her blood smeared it. And words formed on its cover. Sasha didn't get to read them, nor would she have been able to. Light flashed, and everything grew hot. Those within the guild hall would feel a slight weightlessness, And then nothing for a brief period. And then they would be in the open, in the land of Edolas. Sasha looked about, and for those few seconds, she realised that she was alone. And she didn't like that. She swallowed, and shouted out "LAZARUS? LAZARUS!" [center]{b]Jarvis[/b][/center] Jarvis cursed. This wasn't meant ot happen. How had it happened? He cursed once more, looking about, he could see the young girl that had been in the guild, and he began to make his way over to her. "hey! Hey!" he called

Penny

Penny sighed, but nodded, and shifted slightly, "We will still go outside,, just in case the towns people want to find out what has happened here, and keep them out" She said, "We don't need any towns people coming in here, with it being so unstable."

Master Jamie

Jmaie frowned. Masahiko's behavior was slightly odd, and Jamie felt uneasy about this. "What are you doing here, Masahiko? What have you been hiding?" she asked, or rather, demanded to know.

Lazarus felt strange for a moment. His chest felt like it was being crush, but only for a moment. There was strange weightless sensation and a flash, before he found himself in the heap on the floor, head banging. His normal reaction to danger would be to grow his wings get away, to assess the situation. He strained his magic flow. Nothing happened. He tried again. Nothing. His wings wouldn't form. He tried pulling magic into his hand. Nothing. He couldn't use magic. "What is this?" He looked around. They were out in the open, and everything was.... weird. His body pulsed for a moment and he spluttered, as if taking a blow to the stomach. "F-fuck." He could feel it coming on. He pulled his fringe into view. It was turning black. "No... no no no. Fuck." He tucked it under the main bed of his hair, before forcing himself to stand. He closed his eyes. "Be calm Lazarus. Don't let it. Be calm." He spoke to himself. He was interrupted by shouting. As a matter of fact, his name was being shouted. He winced a little, breaking into a light jog towards to noise. It didn't take him long. 30 seconds at most. He had found Sasha. He had to be calm and cool now. He couldn't let everything go, especially at a time like this. He ignored his own problems and spoke as normal. "Hey. Stop your shouting and come keep me safe." He grunted with a smirk on his face. He of course directed his comment towards Sasha.
