Amelia is more of a pacifist and I don't think Jamie would want to put her daughter in more then she has too, so going off the characters, Joshua makes more sense.

Then you can have Amelia on the team. If it's a fighting scenario, Joshua will be a bit upset that he couldn't try to settle some scores but he will respect Jamie's decision.

Amelia will be nervous as hell, but some words or encouragement and she'll be on her way.

I am fine with either one. Joshua likes to fight and if Amaya is in the event he's got that, quoting here, 'mother hen' thing.

Amelia can use the confidence booster and experience.
