I thought so I wasnt sure it is nice having a character page but werid since it is new lol Name: Amaya van Isis Age: 20 Magic: Ice Dragon Slayer: A lost magic allowing the user to take on the traits of a dragon. In this particular case, an Ice Dragon. The user is capable of breathing out cold wind and ice shards, covering their hands in ice to create claws, make wings of ice, and make scales of ice, among other feats. On top of that, Dragon Slayer's have keen senses, take less damage from their element, and can eat their element to regain their magical power, so long as that element does not come from one of their spells. Ice Dragon Slayers are also immune to feeling cold. Magic Level: B History: Amaya was born in a small village at the base of Mount Hakobe. It was a small rural village were everyone knew everyone and managed to make out a living despite living in a very remote section of Fiore. The most important location in the village, at least to it's people, was the shrine dedicated to it's guardian deity. The people there worshiped this being every day of sent it prayers. Amaya was born to a family of farmers who were amongst the most devout of the deity's followers and gave Amaya up as an infant to be raised as one of the deity's priestesses. From her first day of life to the age of eight, Amaya all Amaya knew was a life of worship and prayer. She would spend the day in prayer and learning and occasionally go out to run errands. One day, shortly after her eighth, a small group of bandits attacked the village for supplies. The bandits went about, killing every and raiding the small properties for what little goods the owners had. Amaya was out doing some shopping for the shrine when this event occurred and narrowly avoided being killed while running back to her home. Once there she did the only thing she could and pray for salvation to come before it was too late. As she prayed, the bandits broke in and began raiding the shrine while grabbing the priests and priestesses. Amaya was forced to watch as her family was killed before her, one by one until it was her turn. Accepting her faith, the child said one last prayer while awaiting her death. The killing blow never came as a roar echoed through the village. Before the bandits could look around, something huge landed and let out a roar loud enough to be heard for miles. The bandits panicked and ran, though whatever had landed spared them no mercy and quickly began wiping them out. Amaya kept her eyes closed the entire time out of fear, now thinking she would be killed by a wild animal rather then the bandits. When everything quieted down and the chaos ended, the creature approached Amaya and gently nudged the young girl. Slowly, Amaya opened her eyes and was shocked to see a majestic dragon standing in front of her. The dragon watched the little girl in front of her. She knew the human wouldn't make it out here on her own, especially one as young as Amaya as. The dragon decided to care for the young child and quickly made a shelter made of ice and gently ushered the girl inside. The Dragon, calling itself Aurora so that Amaya had something to call it, would take care of Amaya for the next eleven years. The dragon helped Amaya keep up with her studies and also managed to somehow provide the girl fresh clothes as the years went by. However, on Amaya's nineteenth birthday, Aurora mysteriously vanished, leaving behind nothing but a message to head to a guild called Pheonix Wing. And thus, Amaya left her ruined village for the first time, setting out into the unknown world for the first time, with the goals of finding out about both Pheonix Wing and why Aurora suddenly disappeared. A year has passed but Amaya has finally arrived at Pheonix Wing's hometown, having had various adventures over the years, mostly due to her naivety and lack of knowledge of how the world works. Personality: Amaya is a very child-like yet mature individual. She is very curious about the world, having never left her village and is easily distracted by things she finds either cute or cool. She is also very trusting, as simply saying 'I give you my word' is enough to earn her trust. She also very shy around others, having been out of contact with other humans for eleven years and often making embarrassing mistakes when interacting with them. Despite these childish traits, she is a strong-willed individual with a strong sense of right and wrong. She is incredibly loyal to those she works with and even more so to those who prove themselves worthy. Her devotion to such people is such that she is willing to put her life or freedom on the line for them without hesitation and she is unable to turn a blind eye on the suffering of the innocent as well. The one thing Amaya is unwilling to talk about is how she got her magic and the tragic circumstances that lead to it. Team Members: None (likely Joshua in the future) Three Strengths: 1. Amaya's magic makes her an Ice Mage's worst nightmare. While their magic can still hurt her, all it does in the end is give her a resource to replenish her magic power and stamina 2. Amaya's magic also gives her keen senses, particularly hearing and smell, allowing her to track down her enemies with ease 3. Amaya is very loyal and dependable, definitely someone you want on your team. Three Weaknesses: 1. Amaya cannot stand heat or fire. She hates the summer season and tends to pass out quickly with in heat for any length of time over an hour. 2. Amaya is overly trusting and easily tricked due to her lack of experience interacting with other humans 3. I never said that... I'm just pointing out something specific... Especially when her history takes place around Mt. Hakobe. Just like mine and my dragon which was created with a history that I spoke with Caits about was living on the mountain (and still living there). So our characters might know each other or have crossed paths. It's best to work out things like that especially when the history and the story I created clashes with heres. You know... The history and story I made up and asked for a approval on and had to get approval from all three of the GM and co-gms to make and be accepted.

sigh... I was just writing the post here and I accidentally deleted the tab for it. So I'll try to keep things brief and summarizes what the lost post would say. I like the CS, it's a nice idea, but I'm a bit hesitance of a few things.

• As mentioned in the first post of the OOC, there is not much of a problem with having a dragon slayer. But in this case, there already isa water dragon slayer and having a ice dragon slayer seems a bit too similar. As mentioned in the rules, it would be great to have unique magic, but having magics that are vaguely similar would have to depend on some somethings like the how different that the other one is or etc. But it's water and ice so there are of course differences between the two. The idea of just having two dragon slayers with similar kinds of magics feels a bit weird for me.
• The dragon used is something that I'm unsure about. I'm about caught up in the anime, but I haven't read the manga, but I still don't know what happens to the dragons. So having one already roaming is making me wonder about the origins of it and if can really be in the world where there aren't really any dragons. There's Acnologia, but I still don't know why he's around.
• There are the locations of your slayer and the water slayer that happen to be in about the same location which is Mount Hakobe. So it feels like two dragons or the two characters would of met or ran into each other at some point.

That's about what I could really see right now, but I'll wait on what the Caits and Zarkun think. And I'm assuming that you're waiting for a good moment to start posting your character Shinobi? I have been curious about what you been waiting for since I still see you around the OOC sometimes adding the the post count. Edit: Working out a back story between the two characters would be nice. When you said the part about a dragon roaming around, did you mean mine or Amaya's? Because I think I did a fair job of explaining Azuron's backstory as to why he would be roaming around. Also, I was waiting for a moment for things to calm down. Also I was thinking I could introduce Zenoram/Zero and Azuron with a job request to take down a monster. And it would turn out to be a dragon. Maybe something like that. I had ideas. Just haven't taken the time to talk to anyone as of yet, caused events in the IC seemed to be a bit too hectic. Know what I mean?

it would be nice cause in the way by elements the two slayers would actually play off each other's abilities from what i am reading about the water slayer and I am reading that one dragon slayer nearly wiped out the dragons but the anime talks of the dragons just suddenly disappearing out of the blue without a trace. Plus Amaya's dragon disappeared with the others.

OK, having read Expolar's issues, here are mine. One, as Ex said, we have a Dragon Slayer already. My second issue is that there aren't any dragons wondering. Igneel himself said that the "magical creatures" of the Fairy Tail universe weren't to interfere or face his wrath. I mean, sure maybe we can change things for the RP, but that would take some discussion between me and the other GMs. Caits?

If the mountain is as big as I think, it would not surprise me if two dragons lived on opposite sides. Even if the dragons were to know of each other, it doesn't mean they spoke to each other. Not only that, while Ice and Water are similar elements, there is enough difference to consider them as different magic. Juvia and Gray's fight could be seen as an example of this. I can't help on the Acnologia front, but if one first-gen dragon-slayer got through, I don't see how another one can't either.

You seem very defensive... I'm sorry if I caused problems or offended... Even if it's huge the dragons are not little... They should probably know each other. Also... It's not just about the magic or first gen or whatever... It's also about the set up. We're like a hundred years in the future. The setting of the RP made it so there weren't anymore dragons. I'm pretty sure Caits told me that. I forget who but it was somewhere pages back. So, I had to come up with a reason for a dragon to actually be alive (please see tale of azuron in my CS if you're wondering). Which i did. This story could pretty easily be altered so that's not a problem with me. Personally, I don't think I have a problem with another Dragon Slayer. I could even help work her dragon into my dragon's history.

I personally don't see that as an issue either, but being that they are similar, if it is a problem for the Gms I could probably switch my magic type to something different. I would not mind. I don't think the similarity in magic should be a disqualifying point. I like the water and had ideas for it, but I could probably think up something different.

I meant Amaya's dragon. Your dragon's story was okay and good with me. And okay, I can understand what you're saying about waiting for a calm time.

Anyways, I can see how the two slayers can play off each other but when two or more character's magic are the same, it would be nice if those RPers could talk about it if they're cool with the idea of playing off each other and having them around the RP. And what do you mean that Amaya's dragon disappeared with the others? I thought the dragons disappear long before this RP's current date in the timeline. I don't mean to say a out flat no the CS, I just need some things discussed to help clear somethings. Sorry if I seem to pushy to make some things needing some defending The CS looks nice, just need some answers. I can see your point with the size of the geography in Mount Hakobe. But the existence of another dragon is what makes me wonder as I mentioned just before. Yes Acnologia is understandable since he's apparently better than all the other dragons. But from what I know, all the dragons left EarthLand hundreds of years ago with no one reporting of seeing any in years. But as I mentioned in my previous post, ice and water are similar being one is solid and another is liquid. But I can see how they can be used differently. In this type of case it's nice to see if the other RPers of those characters are okay with each other magics.

It's okay, we had something similar with HeartlessAngel's new CS being very similar to Yippe's CS of Lazarus lol. But I'm glad that Shinobi happens to already be here right now so we can talk about this sooner than later.

Okay. I'm just heading home now, and have read all this OOC chatter and discussion. I will read over the application again, as well as The water Dragon slayer, but I am hesitant to agree to a second dragon slayer right now. Only because Demon gave a good back ground and history on the rise of the dragons again. And the fact that his was the only surviving dragon out of the experiments. I am willing to work to see if we can have a second dragon slayer, but would appreciate it if it wasn't an Ice dragon slayer. Simply because I'm Going to be selfish here and mention that I would like a variety of magic, and sasha has ice. However, I am again happy to be convinced of this. I will write a better response when I am home, and will also PM all parties involved. I would also like to say that I do not wish any fighting in the OOC. A warning to all.

I was going to do this in a PM, but decided, everyone needs a say in this. So. Here we go. The few issues that need to be addressed are: 1.)The fact that, yes, whie water and Ice are different, they are similar. And the fact that I do wish uique magic and variety in magic, despite the fact we have several people who can use swords, they do have other magic (Asides from Damian, who is a blademaster), and we already have Sasha who uses ice, which yes, I know is different then being an ice dragon slayer. 2.) There are no wondering dragons left. Demon created a back story and a why his dragon was around, a how. If you wish to use that, but adjust it to suit Ayamaa, that is fine. 3.)I find it highly unlikely there would be two dragons near each other without the other noticing the other, nor without people noticing. We can create a new location with similar environmental elements if you like. 4.) I am happy if either of you change your elements, but would have to say lightening is out of the mix, as Angelo already has claim on the lightening abilities. Stone and poison is fine! 5.) I do like the character as a whole, and will be happy to accept it without any hesitation if these issues are addressed. If anyone else has any opinions, please, do not hesitate to state them. Shinobi, Amaya, I hope we can sort this out. If you two are happy with each others CS's, and see no issues...then I guess it is alright by me. However, I would still expect the orgin of Ayama's dragon to be changed in order to compensate with the fact that any dragons were killed off in the event with Zereth, and the dragon slayers. If anything ele doesn't get addressed, but that, then I will accept the character sheet. After which, I will not be accepting any more dragon slayers, for now. Unless you can give me a good argument why. This will be put into the rules. I really do not enjoy this aspect of GMing, but will stand by what I have said.
