Though there is one little problem.

Both Karn and Wizard X do share a lot the same magical energy signatures. It just slightly differs because of Karn's own magical energy that allows him to use his magic. While the other majority of powerful magic has another purpose. (Though at the moment it is disconnected)

He isn't detecting it in your normal wizard fashion. He's using his energy control magic to 'poke and prod' if you will, and can get a sense of how much they keep stored at a time. (Second Origins get automatically included in this.)

But it probably isn't. There is a lot of magic being stored for about *looks at watch* a year later.

And while I'm Edolas, isn't constantly depleting magic so that's also a plus xD

Well, yeah, he was a cat. He wasn't the magically powerful Chimera that has powerful beast magic(that isn't unlocked but Ya know) xD

To be fair, I wrote James well before you joined and the others are all guesses. Except Frozen Heart, which actually sounds kinda evil. Who knows, maybe an opportunity will arise that someone will click with Minerva in a way that hadn't worked before.
