Username: ThanatosDefiant
Character Name: Dean Bradley
Age: 15
Gender: Male
Appearance: Dean has very long, untamed hair, his eye color is a very light shade of grey, and he has librarian styled glasses as a result of his terrible eyesight. His robes are incredibly messy, and several food stains can be seen on it. He is unnaturally short for his age, his height being approximately 4 feet and 10 inches long. His skin is slightly pale and his back is always slouched slightly. Dean's teeth have a small, yellow stains on them, caused by his poor personal hygiene.
Personality: Dean has a immature personality, he has no problem speaking his mind, especially when he is angry. He is very passionate when it comes to is interests, although, he tends to space out when he is bored. Dean is also a very fast learner when he actually applies himself, but he shows a great disinterest in the more boring subjects which causes some of his grades to not surpass an Acceptable. However, he has a great need for attention. This stems from the neglect his parents showed him, they were far too busy with their own agendas to pay him much mind. He doesn't discriminate against anyone, no matter how malevolent they may be. As long as he is treated well, he couldn't care less about their past. Dean doesn't believe in telling lies, however, when it suits him, he may omit some details from the truth. He doesn't consider this lying, he thinks of it more as "slightly altering the truth". Quidditch piques his interest, he practices constantly and has shown that he has great potential as a seeker, prodigious amounts, even! Physical appearances are a trivial matter to him, which is why he neglects to exert even the most basic of personal hygiene. Bathing more than once a week is overrated, obviously.
House: Wisteria
Bio: Since his birth, Dean's parents had resolved to spend as little time with him as possible. Being a wealthy pureblood family, they were able to hire a house elf to take care of him for them, even if it was an oddly unenthusiastic one when compared to the more devoted ones, but they thought it was pointless to get a better one for someone they didn't care much for in the first place. The reason for their neglect was quite simple, they had better things to do than take care of a child that they had on accident, anyway. They never made the slightest attempt to hide their blatant hatred towards muggles, had they actually spent time with Dean, he would have hated them as well. They were always committed to taking action against them, even going as far as stirring up trouble for them, in secret and with someone else's wand, of course. This would usually happen when they were in groups, they would never dare attempt such things on their own. Recently, they have been creating a group specifically made to terrorize muggles, which has been quickly recruiting new members.
For the first 10 years of his life, Dean was greeted with mediocre meals that failed to yield any of the nutrients he needed, in order to grow properly. The only escape he had from this evidently poor life, was with quidditch. He loved the sport deeply and would constantly practice with his father's old broom, it wasn't as if there was anyone to stop him! He was thrilled upon his eleventh birthday when the news that he would be able to attend the Salem Academy of Magical Art, arrived. Even with all of his time spent practicing, his life had gotten progressively duller, so a chance to alleviate such boredom was more than welcome.
Skills: Strengths: Amazing quidditch player, fast learner when he applies himself, has unfaltering determination, nimble, and is able to accept anyone regardless of their background.
Weaknesses: Very poor personal hygiene, never hesitates to start a fight with someone he dislikes, often acts on his impulses rather than through clear thinking, immature, insensitive, and at times is arrogant.
