From the Interest Check and OP, I got the feeling that this would be more of a mix between NRP and plain old people RP, but this is looking to be more Nation centered. Are most people just apping as Nations, or did I miss some big change somewhere along the way?

No changes have happened. We have one city-state and one nation so far. Either way, the way this RP will be played will be very character-centered.

@Soviet: Your sheet is mostly fine, but there is something I think is just weird. That being that they have a space-station they use for a lot of things, including picking up pay-checks. It just seems really weird and impractical. I have the feeling you threw that in just because you want a space-station, regardless of how practical it would be. I mean, I can sort of understand if they have a space-station along a popular route that works as a sort of pits stop where mining ships can stop for rest, repairs and refueling, but it doesn't make a lot of sense, to me, for it to be where almost everything is done, including collect their pay-checks. Imagine a guy on Brahma going: "Shit, honey, let me grab a ride on a spaceship so I can collect my paycheck!". Or as Vilage pointed out when I asked him how practical he thought it'd be: ""Dammit, why won't they switch to direct deposit!?"

I don't know, it just seems weird. I'm going to wait for Gorgenmast/Googer and some of the other main guys (Dinh AaronMK, Vilage) to comment on this. If they think it's fine, you're accepted. If not, then you might have to either make that bit make more sense, or remove it altogether if it's determined it wouldn't really work.

Aside from that though, your sheet is fine.

@Work_U_Dumb: I just can't take the theme seriously. This is a futuristic, space RP. I understand it's Sci-Fi, but an Imperial Japan just wouldn't really work in this setting. This is the future. Chances are 10 year-old monarchs aren't a thing. Hell, even normal monarchies might be hard to establish (but I don't forbid. If you can make a monarchy make sense, go for it). But a monarchy ruled by a bunch of Japanese dudes who think they're in the 1800s or something just doesn't make sense. I'm also not comfortable with you claiming they have bases everywhere and are home to the most populous city.

If you want to give something smaller a shot, go ahead. A city-state, an organization, a character. But I don't want to give an Imperial Japanese nation the OK. I just don't think it would work out very well.

I'm still not sure if this would work, but rather than make you wait until tomorrow morning for a definite answer, I'll accept you. On the condition that this station isn't huge.

If it turns out later that it wouldn't work or whatever, it'll be an easy-enough fix. So yeah, you're accepted.

Sailcare, making space travel easy.

Sailcare is a company that was founded 60 years ago by the man Jackeith Johnson the 1st. They gave more jobs and they gave good paycheques. The early days where easy for the company, with the spaceship making business small they had little competition.

Once they all landed on Brahma Jackeith Johnson the 2nd took full control of Spaceship making. By becoming partners with almost every country on Brahma Sailcare got even richer. They started out by creating colonisation ships that can hold extra food and water. They then moved on to mining ships, which had mining lasers attached to the bottom.

Jackeith Johnson the 3rd has taken over and he is a bit nicer then his father. but he still goes by what his dad said. Talk em up as high as you can then say you will remove the partnership if they don't give you the money.

I don't making a blueprint to show the Space-Station

It's a large space station but not extremely big to count has huge , so medium-large

@Work_U_Dumb: I'm not comfortable with anyone claiming they have the best of anything. It should be proved in IC. I don't want to deem someone's ships automatically better than everyone else simply because that person said so in their sheet. I get a strong Mary Sue vibe from your sheet too, with you claiming they "make the best ships" and "funded the first mission to Brahma". NASA probably wouldn't have been around when Brahma was discovered anyway. If you say "they are a spaceship-making company" without claiming they make the best ships, or that they helped get to Brahma first, I'll accept you.

You're accepted. As an organization, you'll probably be based in someone's nation. Unless someone already accepted wants to host you, you should probably wait for more people to join as nations. If that fails, I'll let you be based in an NPC nation.

It's a mix, in a way. But in so far it looks like everyone's jumping at nations or sub-national organizations.

I'd personally like to see more individual characters. But if the focus of the RP is going to move to political and corporate intrigue then I imagine it might be difficult for a individual character to keep pace. Especially if not done right.

Thinking of making a sort of PMC/Industry big company that came about by an alliance between a merc or ex-military folks and a daring entrepreneur who do recognizance into locales outside of the safe zone for materials, resources and good locations, go clear them out, secure a route and establish and outpost for the company to then acquire the materials and either use it in their industry or sell them or even the outpost off to the nations. Think that may be possible, Pepperm1nts? I could also maybe just do the military side and perhaps ally with the mining company we got so far if it seems like two much what I propose.

I'd be cool with you making them up yourself, so long as they make sense. Do a bit of research so your fictional stuff is backed by some degree of realism.

That would be completely fine.

If they are clean mercs, they could be based in a nation in the safe-zone. If they are dirty mercs, you should consider being based in some law-less city-state beyond the safe-zone.

TSM has a small group, armed pretty well.

However, if you got recruits or privates that need training of some sorts there's pretty good contracts, basic guarding and patrolling for tribals and creatures

As an organization, you get to play as anyone who is part of the organization. So you can play as the leader, the co-leader, and anyone who is a part of it. You basically have control of your entire organization and everyone who works for it.
