Lol, likely Juan will leave most of Crow's dealings for Damon to handle unless Crow requires all parties involved to be a part of that which Juan is willing as long as he doesn't hurt his work relationship with Darius. Emmet... Not so much and I doubt even Juan would be able to convince him, though there are other ways which I could detail later. I'll get a post with Juan escaping Darius's tailing goons and likely killing them, possibly crumbling his current role into his secret one for a bit. Then pack up and will meet Crow and Damon at that little tavern. After a bit, few days, to give others a chance to post. XD

Also, Yoshua, I tried to copy and paste all the info in the chat but it seems I could only scroll and get so much so some of the stuff we talked about might be missing. So, I'll do a semi sheet for Darius including skills, abilities and history then send it to you to check over. Though you realize with what we talked about then we must plan to intro a little old memory of Darius's childhood.

And Celaria, I've not forgotten you. Once I get that done then we'll work on how Aeris knows Darius and how often they've kept in contact, reaction to each other and how much they know they know about each other. I could imagine her keeping in contact throughout the years and even asking questions about long life since he's lived so long himself and gone through similar pain in a way.

Hawk, four things.

One, your Lazarus post was really enjoyable to read.

Two, if the angel he was fighting was a battle angel (which I do believe you stated) then it could not have utilized fire (unless I misread or it was written improperly and was actually Lazarus using fire) as they can only modify their bodies to a certain degree and cannot use magic.

Three, Jesus, in Essence, is not called 'Jesus. There is an equivalent, and his name is Jesu Cristo. So replace 'Jesus' with 'Jesu' and you're good.

Four, I am going to enjoy the moment that Lazarus meets Reates sooo much >:3

oh so there is no Christianity? I removed the line about Jesus, just makes it easier for me. Although it does bring into question basically everything that pertains to my characters name if there is no Christianity. If it doesn't exist in almost the same state as it does currently (or something very similar even if the world just views it as a dated mythology) then the name Lazarus wouldn't exist since its a reference to a person Jesus brought back to life and I quite literally had the demon in my back story quote the Bible John 11:44.

And yes it was Lazarus using fire sort of....lets just say killing Revenants causes them to.....go boom and I found the whole conjured fire bit and fixed that. It was Lazarus I think the sentence just got away from me lol.

Hahaha, good. We don't actually know if there is or not. We never explored it. The lore might be slightly different, but there's no reason that the name Lazarus wouldn't exist I don't think. Jesu Cristo and Judas Iscariot existed for example :P

They both actually would've played a part in Essence of the World: Tears do Fall, aka Essence S2-A. Idk, I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Basically we never delved into human belief systems - we know there are multiple such, including sects but none is powerful enough to actually be exploited by supernatural beings. If there is ChristianityI it must be quite different because humans were always aware of angels and tolerated but not necessarily liked the patronising way they were treated by them.

So maybe It would be easier to gloss over it because honestly I enjoy the reference with his name but not many people were suppose to really get it to begin with in character. So maybe Lazarus as a history professor is simply referencing some sort of obscure religion that the world doesn't really buy anymore so its really just a forgotten mythology. So it's more of his personal joke that no one gets

I still intend to see where that story ends up when its picked up again! Though, instead of Emmet, it will be his 6x great grandfather Isaac Hayes in that one. Surprisingly...him and Emmet are nothing alike. :p

I know, it would be interesting to see polar opposites, Issac would've be a clumsy and social awkward man compared to Emmet's calm and grounded personality. Ironic he was the start of it all. XD I can only wonder whatever happened? Though even if any of the prior characters met him, it's unlikely they would know he was related to Emmet in this one. ^^ Which is slightly funny.
