<<I'm pretty sure she has it all arranged. There are papers for a plane reservation and everything.>> The phone conversation was a little awkward, but he couldn't exactly just leave without telling anyone where he was going. He tried to leave out some of the details, like the fact that the people he would be going to see might not be human, but at the very least, his parents had to know that he wasn't going to be in the country for a while. Even if he was currently living away from them, they deserved to have some information. <<I'll be fine, I'm just helping with the investigation. They probably just want information-- Oh, the airport is coming up. I'll call you back later. I love you too, bye.>>
Sonja dragged his suitcase behind him through the airport to the front desk, showing the papers to the people working there and asking where he would be boarding. The odd looks they were giving him were mildly uncomfortable, making him wonder if he had done something wrong. After a few minutes, a couple of airport personnel in special uniforms were hurrying him past the security check-in, drawing a few more stares from the people waiting in the lines for their baggage to be checked. Ah...okay, so it's not a normal plane, I guess. She must have been eager to assemble us, so I guess this isn't that...
He had been ushered out to the plane already, but whatever he had been thinking just trailed off in his mind as he stared at the reptilian shape in front of him.

<<....Are you serious?!>>
