"You wish, what I said was more like 'who the fuck does she think she is,' or something like that," he begins to chuckle a little bit but stops when he sees Sonja and Core enter the room, " hey Sonja, long time no see. So what did the jet look like? Did it have some connection to Core's outfit?"

Calamity stuck her tongue out at Jeffery, freezing in place when Sonja walked in with Core. "Hey, Sobja!" She said, her younger still out of her mouth.

Jeffery just stared at Calamity annoyed, "yep, real mature there," he said sarcastically.

"You genuinely scare me. You really do." Sonja followed, trying his hardest not to fall over from exhaustion or just go crazy despite what the universe was clearly trying to do to him. That outburst had taken a lot of energy that he forgot he didn't have, too. He gave a yawn as he entered the room before looking around at the others assembled. "Hallo... Sorry, time zones and such. I feel like it's nearly midnight..." He smiled tiredly over at Jeffery. "Hey. How've you been? Ah, the jet? It was a card game reference." Looking over at Calamity, he chuckled at how her tongue still hung out of her mouth. Gosh, he was tired... "Hi to you as well. It's been a while."

Jeffery just stared at Calamity annoyed, "yep, real mature there," he said sarcastically.

"Yeah, reallllllll mature." Calamity used a mocking voice. "I'm thousands of years old, I've had plenty of time to be mature!" She looked over at Sonja. "I scare everybody, so I'm not offended." She smiles.

"By card game reference, do you mean the dragon jet from yugioh? Because with that outfit Core had on I could only guess." Jeffery turned back in Calamity's direction, "please, like I need a lecture on being mature. Being the son of a demon I didn't have time to be immature. I've matured ever since I was eight, I barely actually had a childhood."

"Guys, calm down. I don't think now is the time to be arguing." Lynnie had lifted her head to speak but threw it back down as she finished.

"I agree," Jeffery began as if he was about to give a speech, "if we don't cooperate we'll we'll have no chance of finding this guy." Jeffery turned back over and looked to Core, "I still need to grab my sword though."

"Jeffery, I keep telling you, you don't need your sword till we actually start doing stuff." Core told Jeffery before turning to Sonja,"If you go though that door," she pointed to a door," to down the hall and go into the first room on the right there should be a futon. But whatever you do don't go onto the second room on you right, that's my room."

"I've been lonely. My mother still never comes home, off being drunk and crap." Lynnie made eye contact with Sonja as she spoke, the first time she had made any sort of contact with anyone in quite awhile.

"Oh, she changed clothes... Ah, I mean, okay." Sonja shook his head, trying to refocus on what Core was saying. "Thank you. Is there anything I need to stay here for before I go, though? I don't want to miss any important information."

"Well Core, I just feel much more comfortable with my sword. Especially since my demon powers are contained in it," Jeffery is always a little more nervous without his sword, ever since he got it back he never liked it being in others hands. "Wow, that sucks Lynnie. You should've tried to find me, I've been meaning to talk to you for awhile."

Kushu jumped up and grabbed the door handle, opening the door to the office where everyone was gathered. She instantly spotted her half brother and walked over to him. Kushu grabbed his pant leg, sticking close to him.
"Onni-chan, is that your girlfriend?" She asked Jeffery, pointing at Lynnie.

Jeffery blushed when the mysterious little girl asked the question, "ok, first of all who are you? Second of all how do you know me?" Jeffery was confused and looked to the others for help on what to do.

"I'm Kushu, and your my onii-chan." Kushu looked closer at Lynnie before her gaze returned to Jeffery,"What's girlfriend-onee-san's name?"

Sonja blinked at the little girl by Jeffery's side. "Jeffery, does she look a little like you, or am I that tired?"

Jeffery's face became even more red, which contrasted to the blue flames which appeared on his forehead, "I don't even know what an onni-chan is. By the way what is it?" Jeffery was getting more confused by the second, however he didn't look up this time because of how red his face was.
