After the first wave of fireworks came the second with more colors added to it. An ambiguous shade of flames had suddenly ignited where that geeky girl was previously sitting, acting as if it were some living being that had just fallen off something. Its presence felt indeed eerie, and of course my attention was strongly captivated by this illuminating presence, but as the bird-bat-thing nearly mentioned my name, my eyes glared right up at the being's damaged head. It was one of those grudge-like stares that would put normal passerby's in a very uncomfortable position if they encountered someone with that look surrounded by other shady people. I wasn't going to turn on the guy or anything, but I didn't remember mentioning my name, so perhaps this was just some nasty coincidence. The fact that he grazed both metals to produce an atrocious sound was highly disconcerting to my powerful hearing, however I quickly adapted to it and managed to "close it off" as I focused on something else than that sound.
Before I could wind up some reply to get a move on, he appeared to have a better plan as he mentioned Bolton's garage. The fact that he mentioned that rich fuck only confirmed my suspicions earlier, it was that billionaire we could easily milk during such a moment. Did I really think of doing that? Yes, but was I really that low to beat down a man in such chaos? Not anymore anyway. I stuck to cleaner things and I preferred avoiding such big shots nowadays, this previous deal being one of those rare, but very worthwhile, exceptions.
"Non, you're not driving with that small body of yours. I'm not either, mon gars. I guess this human guy should drive because I don't think feu-au-cul (fire-in-ass) or chaudasse (roughly translate to hot-slut, referring to Jade in this case with all her flames) are going to be very productive."
I followed them to the garage, ready to face the shitstorm outside if I had to. Weapon ready, body prompt for sudden reactions, even if I anticipated a shitty side effect of jumping way too high. I wasn't going to impose myself all that much for now, because things were looking alright and a decent vehicle was what we needed. Plus having such big guys with bulky bodies like feu-au-cul made great bodyguards against the assholes outside.

It would only be now that I would have noticed some new individual around here, I could hear a somewhat new female voice anyway. By my vision was still shaky from the fall and my sudden transformation into my Pokemon form. Not that I was aware of this form to begin with, thus making everyone's sudden attention on me a bit of a mystery. I mean, there was a HUGE dragon thing, some ridiculous rat monster with a gun, some cat-psycho being that reminded me of some troll bait, and God forbid that armored bat producing such a BAD sound. The flames on my body almost vibrated in response to the twisted sound, as if they were taking the equivalent form of goosebumps. I still didn't realize I had changed, even if my hands were clearly over sized, but in my perspective they felt normal for some reason.
"The hell are you all looking at? We gotta get off this shithole, it doesn't have any Wi-Fi left, Jeez."
I packed my things, placing my laptop in my backpack. It would only be when I pulled my hand out of the bag that I finally noticed my giant, clawed, purple hand coming out of it and barely fitting out. I stayed motionless as the rest marched toward the exit. I shivered, fixating my hand before swiftly snagging my makeup kit in my bag's pocket. I opened it and looked at the integrated mirror, only to see the most disgusting creature I've ever seen in this vast array of bullshit. I screamed hard, hard enough that my eerie, echoing voice shattered nearby glass. I didn't not know the screech attack, but by God the moment I discovered the truth, there wasn't a NEED for magical powers, this was all genuine.
"HOLY FUCKING SHIT NO WAY NO NO NO I WAS FUCKING NORMAL A SECOND AGO! Nooooo NOOOOOOOOOOOO, this is dumb as HEEEELLLL!"
My hands were in my head as I started pacing around the area while the others had practically left. Stress had consumed me, fear engulfed my every thought. It was like one of those moments where you forget something really important and the consequences are terrifying every fiber in your body. My hands were running down my body from time to time, feeling a few differences but as I got used to it, I realized my body still felt the same in my point of view. This body was completely insane, even more insane than anything we've all seen in the area.
"No... I look even uglier than these losers... This is such crap, no fucking seriously, what the hell..."
Wi-fi was no longer a concern, as I slowly walked toward the exit and went where the rest of the group went, my mind almost completely devoid of reason as of now. I had no idea what we were doing now, and I didn't care. I was lost, I was ugly, and I was stuck with a bunch of creepy creatures who look MAGNIFICENT next to my new look. This sucked, and made no sense. Why did I transform after them? Am I really that special? I tried to make the best of it, but for now, no such luck.
