Name: Roger White

Age: 25

Gender: Male

Species: Goodra/Charizard

Appearance: Unlike others of his kind, Roger's 'skin' is actually a very weird reddish-brown color, with an orange underbelly. His tail is also that of a charizard's, however, the fire on the end of it isn't tied to his life and can go out without killing him... the flame is also, oddly enough, a purple color, rather than the typical red. The tail does have a few yellow dots on it, similar to the green dots that a regular goodra has. His arms and hands are similar to those of a charizard's, and the fingers even have claws at the end of them. His feet match a charizard's in just about everything but color (which is a given, considering the fact that his coloration is neither from a charizard or a goodra). His head even has a charizard's horns on it, though the rest of his head is, of course, that of a goodra's, as are his legs, eyes, neck, and general body shape.

Level: 13

Moves:
- Outrage
- Protect
- Tackle
- Heat Wave

Ability: Hydration

Biography: Roger was always such a forgettable and absolutely average kid, that throughout his childhood, he'd make friends, and then they'd forget him in a year, claiming to have never met him before. This actually annoyed Roger at first, however, after a while, he just started making jokes about it, such as "Hey, it's me, the kid nobody can ever remember!" or "Look, it's the student who isn't listed in the yearbook!"... his straight 'C's throughout his education only seemed to prove to him just how average and common he was, but, by this time, he didn't even care, and honestly, didn't expect anything else from himself. One strange thing about Roger, though, was the fact that he may have been one of the only students at his school who liked pokemon. While you'd think something like that would make him at least somewhat memorable, the fact that he never so much as spoke about pokemon, or how much better it was than the school's (supposed, and according to Roger's since-forgotten study which may be wrong) favorite franchise, digimon. Roger would always try not to puke whenever it was brought up, and unfortunately, that was often at his high school. He went through high school somewhat easily, just coasting on his C average to get a diploma... funny thing, the guy handing out the diplomas actually forgot his name, and he had to remind them... as a result, he got his diploma after everyone else left.

After high school, Roger started attending the nearby university, studying to get some sort of degree that would help him get a job that would let him make his own video game. Even after all these years, Roger would always find the time to play some video games, and, strangely enough, he still got straight Cs... it seemed like that's all he'd ever get, no matter whether he studied, or just slacked off playing video games. Unfortunately, this was about the time where he was actually thinking about his game and sharing his ideas to people who might help him... one of his classmates, one who had since transferred to another school in another country, took off with his game ideas, and actually made a very poorly-coded version of what Roger was planning to make. Sure, it wasn't a very good game (named Witches & Wizards: Dragon edition), even getting some of the 'all-time worst' awards in various gaming websites and magazines, but... Roger knew that he couldn't make that game that he was planning to make anymore. Roger then stopped studying and stopped playing video games for a while just to come up with some sort of new idea, one that wouldn't end up stolen and put into poor coding. He wracked his brain day and night coming up with some sort of idea, something new and original in the RPG genera, and his grades... well, they just stayed at 'C' for some weird and unknown reason. Today might just be the day, though, he could almost feel himself coming up with something new, it's right on the tip of his tongue, yet, it still isn't exactly formed fully yet... for some reason...

Differences: As a hybrid between a goodra and a charizard, Roger can learn most of the moves from both movepools, however, as he lacks wings, he cannot learn any flying type moves... that is, unless he learns hidden power and THAT ends up being a flying type move. He is also partially a fire type thanks to his somewhat mixed-up DNA. Sometimes, Roger may mix two of his moves together during an attack, though, the results can run the gamut from useful to worse than useless, results from the same mix will often vary depending on if he gets interrupted in the middle of the attack... which isn't that hard to do, unfortunately for him.

Other Info: The game 'Witches & Wizards: Dragon edition' should be very infamous, to the point where almost every Youtube, website, and magazine critic knows about it, and has played it. The game's so horrible that it actually got a few game journalists and Youtubers to quit their jobs... even the ones that are basically paid to be angry and hate everything. Also, the only items in his possession are his wallet with $20, several cards, and tons of receipts... of course, he also has the clothes on his back.

Name: Phoebe Jones

Age: 18

Gender: Female

Species: Nidorina

Appearance: Phoebe looks similar to the textbook image of a Nidorina. A light blue, partially bipedal quadruped creature with barbs, claws, and a stubby tail. Phoebe likens herself to a stocky Iguanodon with big, rabbit-like ears.

Level: 9

Moves: Growl - Scratch - Toxic - Double Kick

Biography: Phoebe was born to a homeless couple living in San Diego, California. A week after she was born, her parents moved in with her paternal grandmother, who was kind enough to offer shelter to her son and his girlfriend, now that there was a child involved. (Before, she didn't even consider it. The nerve of her son, running off at 18 and ending up in the streets with some random hussy! No good Catholic has premarital sex, and keeps an un-baptized baby! If grandpa was still alive...) Phoebe spent her first years living there, surrounded by traditional Catholic Italians. There were no children her age in this ghetto (ethnic community) just adults. As such, she developed "only child syndrome", matured just a little beyond her age. At four, her parents gained good, stable jobs and moved into Section 8 housing downtown. She missed the adult company, but they were quickly replaced by the neighborhood kids. Phoebe quickly joined the group of twenty-odd children, aged from 3 to 13, who ruled the neighborhood and defended it from other bands of kids in mock battles. It was great fun.

Phoebe did well in school. She loves learning; especially science and history. Of course, there were bullies, but she managed to deal as much damage as she took, sending both the bully and her to detention. Phoebe showed her detention slip as a flag of honor. She was proud to go down fighting, even if she didn't win. She's proud, stubborn, and close-minded. People with differing views are seen the close minded ones, not her. After that fight, the bullies backed down and took to glaring at her in the hallways. Phoebe ignores their passive-aggression. She gathered a group of like-minded friends who also believe their views are superior in every way. They hang out at the school library and after-school Gay-Straight Alliance meetings, discussing their plans to become President of the World or some crazy shit like that. (If only...)

Phoebe graduated from high school just this year, and is pursuing a degree in Biology at the local college. She plans to narrow her major later on. Probably zoology, or evolutionary biology. Phoebe loves learning the history of the earth and of the life that formed here. Phoebe has a hard time accepting other points of view, especially on the subject of life. Aliens? She'll think you mad. Religion? She'll laugh in your face. It's so blatantly obvious that gods don't exist! You silly plebeian, you! Her mother, an agnostic with strong reincarnation beliefs, finds this slightly blasphemous. Her atheist dad is proud. Her grandmother still believes she's Catholic.

Phoebe still lives with her parents in the same Section 8 apartment as before. She goes to school full time, and works part time as a barista at [insert fake Starbucks name here.]

Differences: Phoebe, weirdly enough, has a small horn on the center of her forehead. The horn is presumed to be left over from her Nidoran stage. Her darker blue patches are small, as well.

Other Info: Her ability is Poison Point. We're doing abilities, right?

Edited some more. I didn't add a paragraph...I kinda just lengthened the current ones, filled in details, explained some things, etc.

We're starting once five people join.

Anyway, you don't HAVE to be like 18 and such. Go read the rules which I updated. They're probably confusing, and if they are, it means they work.

App:
Name: John 'The Batter' Mcdouglas

Age: 36

Gender: Male

Species: Human

Appearance: Better description rather than the picture: He adorns his old baseball player outfit, even if it is a tad bit small. The hat still fits him, though. Without his hat, he has really short, jet-black hair, and he is semi-muscular, more on the skinny side, actually. He is Caucasian, and has green eyes, and he wears contacts. He has a deep voice, and he is about 6'4" tall. (1.9 meters) He carries a bat with him at all times, wooden. *ahem*
yes, this character is based off of a certain character from a game. I do not own this picture.

Biography: As a kid, he was a Sports Nut. Or a jock. Whatever you want to call him. He sucked at almost every subject in school, but he still aced his tests. Mainly because he found seats next to nerdy kids and cheated. He also took many days off, and he was never actually sick. Everyone liked him, girls swooned, etc. etc. until a prank of his sorta went too far. Let's just say he was a juvenile delinquent, but he learned his way in jail. Well, not in education, of course. He was still cramming and cheating and slacking off. No, he learned discipline, and chivalry, and manners. Now, this wasn't actually all from him going to juvey, more like him getting his ass whooped by his parents right after he got out. Years later, he tried to relearn a lot of things, and sort of got smarter than he was before.

Summer
The start of baseball season! His second favorite sport, and now was the time to get accepted into the small-town teams! He'd be the third youngest on the team, being 21 and all. He was good friends with Harold, and Jason. The others were mainly acquaintances. He played well, and eventually got a few awards and a girlfriend. The end of summer was a little rough, but he definitely knew he liked baseball more than football.

A couple years later, he married his girlfriend, but after about two miscarriages, they stopped trying to have kids. They did adopt, though. The reason to the miscarriages was because she was actually a pokemon. She didn't exactly know, she thought that she was a human. Everyone thought she was human. The children they adopted were a short, Canadian girl, pale as the moon, and a chubby American. The only problem with having two different kids is that they fought, and they were also extra mouths to feed. Joey's job wasn't exactly paying all that well, especially since he was only known by a couple people locally. After a while, his wife divorced because he wouldn't put the kids back up for adoption, and he was on the verge of bankruptcy, until he got a second job. Now having a second job, that meant he was rarely ever home, which didn't bode well for the kids.

After mostly saving himself from debt, a couple years passed and he got a once-in-a-lifetime offer. People said he played baseball so well, he should be on that town's professional team. This meant a higher paycheck, of course, and he got to meet new people. Although, he still had to do his second job, leading to weeks of stress, and on top of that, he still had to pay bills and taxes. He quit his second job after the offer, though, and he sort of become a hometown hero, in a way. He got to see his kids more often, usually ending up with him saying "Look at how much you've grown!" and whatnot. Joey, 'The Batter', was happy. In fact, he's glad about almost everything he did, including getting that divorce. Although the team eventually disbanded, he still kept his clothes, and wears them from time to time to this day, even if they are a tiny bit tight on him. He also owns his bat, and some think that he put cork in his bat to make it lighter and hit a ball farther, but he never did. He was just good. He is a little overprotective, though, and if he even senses partial hostility, he may attack.

By the way, did you see? Apparently, Sol banned me (as if that wasn't redundant, he probably wasn't going to convince me to post there, anyways) for having ideas for a sequel to his RP.

It sucks, too, 'cause I actually had a lot of respect for Sol. He made wonderful, creative RPs, and used to treat all of his applicants in a fair manner... and then... this... well, let's just say that I now consider him to be no more than another OP who's constantly drunk with power. I'm glad I chose 'Run' when I did, so to speak.

I dunno about you, but it appears university's taking a toll on that Brit. I mean, everyone banned me when they like 18... from Evanist to Waskom. Man, they were busy...

Anyway, I never liked him, never will. Most of his plots were based off/were pretty much animes, and unfortunately I didn't have a soft spot for them.

I thought I apologised to YOU in my note. I was merely using an example of how we were during rather tough times. You know, with the recession, Percy Jackson-like weather and whatnot.

Yeah, me too. He's lost all hope, and now he's no different to all those other roleplayers with single paragraphs. At least in the arrogance bit.

I have a couple problems... one is that you wouldn't KNOW that she's a pokemon until after the RP starts, and two is that you can't be 'a tiny bit pokemon'. Due to the fact that pokemon DNA is incompatible with human DNA, it's safe to say that it's either all or nothing as far as that goes... but, you wouldn't know why the miscarriages happen, and may have come up with some (false) excuse, or have the doctor come up with some (somewhat true, but not the main problem) reason as to why it's not working.

Well, I misinterpreted your pms then. Clarify a bit more, try to actually tell me what to do rather than saying 'maybe she could be a pokemon'. I don't know what you mean by that, because I don't think exactly like you do.

Okay, here we go...
first things first, we're starting off one day before people start turning into pokemon, and pokemon basically only exists as a video game franchise up until that day. HOWEVER, as the pokemon, are, in a sense, hiding without even knowing that they're hiding, you wouldn't know that your GF is a pokemon. Another thing... as I've already explained, they are two very different species, and thus, their DNA is completely incompatible... meaning that there's no possible way that anyone could be partially a pokemon. That'd be like saying 'Oh, well, my GF is part dog, so, it didn't work.'... do you understand, or should I explain more?

...I don't even know what you people are talking about atm, what with all the PMs and whatnot.

Anyway, why does your application have the year 2000 feel...? Eh, he's 35. he's gonna be from the 80's or something.

Now, your application feels awkward. Something involving a sports jock, stating she's a Pokemon (although not to the point where anyone's aware)...

Since I have no valid reason to deny, I may as well accept you. Just one question though (and don't take this badly): are you sure this is the character you want to roleplay as? I apologise, but you usually leave, so I have to actually ask.

I'll edit in the results of Wormgod's app. Too late.
