I was wondering if I should add my shapeshifting character :P
I was thinking if you raid those 'prisons' she could be one of those ones who was getting experimented on. I had this idea that she got her powers before 'the incident' at the age of 18 and Aperture yanked her and has had her for like 8 years or something and now shes this hard ass woman who can transform into any animal and heals from touching nature.

Bee, I'm in no way angry at you except for a few things. The robots are cool but I don't know if Ruby falls under a mind-controller. Honestly, Aperture does have tech like this that will be revealed later. Secondly, the Reformists are in no way weak - they now have the military working with them and once Aperture's real plans are revealed, there won't be a lot of Metas backing them. The only real problem I have is how all this technology has been made for Ruby, who is a massive threat, and it has been developed in no time whatsoever. These head-band things, do they create a field that Ruby cannot alter whatsoever or can she just not mess with the head-bands?

Guuuuuuuuuuuuuys, do you know how clichè alien invasions in the superhero genre? It sounds fun, to be honest, but shall we wait for this storyline to wrap up?

I see. As for the technology being made for Ruby, actually, my interpretation was that the Anti-Mind Control headbands were made to counter technopaths in General, not Ruby, because 1.) Rofis mentioned Aperture having a Technopath other than Ruby in his first IC Post, and 2.) I thought from that that Technopathy is more common than it actually was, and that any number of Corporations would be snatching up Technopaths. There's also the fact that the Power Armor isn't aimed at Ruby or Technopaths at all, but is rather part of a project parallel to Aperture's, and independent from them.

Could she have escaped before it got more locked up? or maybe she is escaping while they're raiding so it makes it easier for her to get out?

Taylor told Ruby she was about 2-3 times more powerful than their other Technopath so he's probably for R&D only. And no, Technopaths aren't that common but there is a fair amount of variation between them. Some are inventors, others tinkerers and most are hackers. But no, they're really very rare! When Ruby was first created, she was the weakest Meta here. Now she has power armour, she has been levelled out with others in terms of fighting. What I'm trying to emphasize is it's the armour that gives Ruby the advantage; remove it and you have the weakest meta again.

No one escapes Avalon. I don't know whether she'd be in the normal high-security prison part of Avalon or the sleeper facility. If she was in the sleeper facility, she'd be in a coma. Honestly, I don't think Bee wants the reformists to raid Avalon so that might not even happen!

Understood. Anyway, the Robot Drones aren't for Ruby/Other Technopaths, but rather for Mind/Emotion Controllers in general. As for the Anti--Mind Control Bands, I'm keeping them because Biotech is cool, especially plant-based biotech. However, the justification for them now is not just the theoretical existence of a Technopath as powerful as Ruby, but also the fact that due to [Insert Technobabble Explanation Here], Biotech is better at warding off Mind Control in general.

And, no, I don't want my and Mass' faction to raid Avalon if I don't have to.

Bee, slow down and be patient. You don't need a counter for every possible threath. Let things play out a little and see how the develop. The playing field will always level out in one aspect or another. They will here as well.

Now that you have all this added tech, what happens when Alec, Eli and Roze join? Doesn't have set the field in the reformist favor? A story where we know the good guys win isn't all that... To me at least.
