In this RP, you will be playing a first- or second-year student and journey throughout the 6-7 years they are there. The story starts with all the characters arriving at the King's Cross Station in London, and we'll go on from there. The first-years will be in the same year as Harry, but I don't want this RP to be centered around the Golden Trio - I'd like to have our own adventures that are separate from the books. However, we will be taking our facts from the books (in other words, no pet half-dragon half-puppy half-stardust half-vampire half-carpet things), and second-years and up will be allowed to play Quidditch (as long as you PM me).

1. No God-Modding.
2. Please write at least one paragraph per post. There will be no limit as to how much you can write - write what you want and have fun.
3. I do not want drama in the OOC though drama in the IC is welcomed and loved.
4. I am looking for players who don't shy away from the OOC. RPs with a lack of communication die, so I'd appreciate it if we all got to know each other. Besides, it's more fun to RP with someone you can call friend.
5. Please do not join us if you plan to vanish without a trace. I'm looking for dedication and for players who want to have a long-time RP.
6. If you have ideas for subplots please do not set them into action without asking me. The same goes for being on the Quidditch team and discovering the Room of Requirement.
7. I am GM, but I'd like you all to state your opinions, and if you have an objection to something I've decided, feel free to PM me. I want all of us to have fun RP-ing together ^^
8. Lastly, and this is pretty important, I'd like use all to have a cycle of posting (A, B, C, A, B, C..). I will give everyone 48 hours to put up their post after the person in front of them has posted, and if you miss it, you will be given a warning. After your 3rd warning, you will be kicked out of the RP. I don't want everyone to wait days for someone to post. However, if you know you can't make a post in time, please tell me a few days in advance.
Thanks~

Accepted Characters (12)
Name: Katherine Collinsworth
Age: 11
Gender: Female
House: Slytherin
Magical Heritage: Half-blood, but everyone (including her) thinks that she is pureblooded.
Appearance: Long, straight, blonde hair, bright blue eyes, slim, with pale and smooth skin. Very pretty- and proud of it!
Backstory/Personality: Katherine's parents hold very powerful positions in both the muggle and wizardry governments. Katherine's father, Alexander, comes from a very old pureblood family- the Collinsworths, especially closely intermarried with the Malfoy family. He is a very powerful Auror and is cousins with Lucius Malfoy. He married a pureblooded witch, Anne Marcus, who died as a Death Eater. The marriage was arranged by their parents, and so the couple never really liked each other. Because of this, while his wife travelled to various different places, Alexander had a child- Katherine- whom he hid until Anne's death, with Alice deRoux, a French muggle. Everyone believes Katherine to be her child, and Alexander and Alice are secretly still good friends. Alice's father, or Katherine's real grandfather, holds a very influential position in the French government.
Katherine lives with her father in the very large, richly-decorated Collinsworth mansion and is very well-educated and well-mannered- at least to people of importance. Besides English, she can speak French, Spanish, some German, and can write Latin. Katherine's appearance comes from her French mother, as Alexander has black hair and dark eyes.
Most people consider her proud, spoiled, and snobby- which she probably is. Katherine believes that only pureblooded witches and wizards should be allowed to work in the Ministry, and considers muggle-loving purebloods a disgrace to the rest of them. She loves her father very much, but is unaware of his secret muggle-loving attitude. She also loves her spoiled pet cat, Lina. Katherine is very proud of her exceptionally pretty appearance and, although she never wears any make-up, always carries a high-quality hair brush and mirror with her.
Personal Items: 11 1/2 inch Thestral tail-feather wand, oak wood, not very flexible. Black cat called Lina.
Special Gifts and Abilities: Katherine is a very, very good actor and excels in Transfiguration. Her Potions is not as good as most Slytherin, but is also good in Charms and Herbology.
Age: 11
Gender: Female
House: Slytherin

Name: Pearleane Pompaque
Age: 11
Gender: Female
House: Hufflepuff
Magical Heritage: Half-blood.
Appearance: The picture is a great start as to what Pearleane looks like. Though, that picture is of her a bit older. She had dark features (hair and eyes) and her skin tone is a soft cream color. However, she can tan very easily, and often receives a more olive tone during the warmer seasons because she prefers to be outside.
Biography/Personality: "A young woman always has three things with her, do you know what those things are my darling?" Pearleane looked up at her mother with her large almond shaped dark eyes, "Is the first one candy?" the girl questioned, her tummy grumbling as she watched her mother cook up dinner that night, a cackle came from the woman's lips, she wiped away her tears as she shook her head at her only daughter, "No, my darling you must have class, ass, and sass." Pearleane nodded, and repeated, "Class, sass, and ass, momma I got it- now when is dinner?" The woman shook her head once more, "Not now my child, go play and I'll call you when it's done."
Pearleane was named after her great-grandmother on her very strictly pureblood mother's side. Her father (Frederick Pompaque) was a muggle and was only really around for Pearleane to be conceived. This may have gave Pearleane a bit of a prejudice against some muggles, but because of her kind and forgiving nature she tends to give everyone first and second chances. Pearleane's mother a pureblood (Claudia Wilhmer) single handedly raised the girl, and taught her to be hardworking, dedicated, and patient, even when things are overwhelming. It was no wonder the sorting hat placed her in Hufflepuff with no delay. Before going to Hogwarts she lived in a small one bedroom apartment with her mother, and didn't have too many glamorous things. Most if not all of her school supplies are second hand to her mother's.
The young girl has a bit of a sweet tooth, and has often been known to keep various sweets and snacks in her bag. Though it has gotten her a few odd stares and name calling from some of the more fit peers, she makes friend's pretty easily. Her loyalty is true and steady; once you find friendship in her, you have a friend for life.
Personal Items: A 7 inch Kneazle whiskers wand: Rosewood (Unyielding).
Special Gifts and Abilities: Pearleane excels in Herbology naturally, but has not found her true hidden talent quite yet. She is quite interested in Transfiguration and Divination.

Name: Blythe Wickerly
Age: 11
Gender: Male
House: Ravenclaw
Magical Heritage: Muggleborn, and quite proud of that fact.
Appearance: Oddly enough, yes, Blythe was born with ominous crimson eyes. His father believes that it has something to do with one of his ancestors, but that is only a speculation, and due to this, Blythe doesn't think about it all that much. He is around the average height of an eleven year old boy, with the weight that is also around average. His build is lean, with a tad of sinewy muscle from actually being one of those nerds that go out and experiment with the things they learn on the media. His skin is quite pale, and his hair is neat, feathery, and pure black, going quite well with his crimson eyes. All in all, Blythe portrays quite the ominous, yet unique look, and it is obvious that he'll be quite the looker in a few years..
Biography/Personality: His life...
Well, let it be known that Blythe was a fighter. Born into a world that seemingly cursed him ever since he was a fetus, his life starting out was rocky at best. His mother had to have an emergency c-section due to a malignant tumor that was found in her skull, and she died shortly after giving birth to Blythe - a few minutes later. His father, Yama, did not blame Blythe for such a disastrous situation. Yama was a well-off, geek of a man that spent the majority of his life building relatively popular games, and constructing mainstream, yet interesting anime that spurred teenagers and children alike to become closet dwellers. He was a Japanese man, and although they lived in Britain - with Blythe's mother being a pure British woman -, Yama made sure to have Blythe know about their heritage.
Thusly, the boy's path was set. He grew up around fantasy; he knew all of the jutsu of Naruto by the age of six, and he knew the Dragon language of Eragon by the age of 7. Anime, video games, magic, fantasy...it all interested him, and the young boy spent all of his time as an otaku, learning whatever he can, and blossoming in his studies at school because of this fact. He loved books of any typing, and although this made him quiet and distant to the world, he was still a bright young man that was a bit...warped from exploring all spaces of the internet.
All of it.
When he was sent his letter, he wasn't all that surprised. His father only received a "Magic's not that surprising." After all, only seconds after the note, Blythe had deduced that every anime creator ever was a part of a large legion of creative wizards wanting to subtly give out hints of the Wizarding world. But, I digress...yes, he is a creative and thoughtful boy, but he is also intelligent to the point of it being obscene. Only an hour after that deduction, he was 'experimenting' with his inner magical ability, already shaping it into different molds inside of his inner core. Already, he has went through nearly all of the charms and spells inside of his text books, and is already creating new ones based on his wide imagination.
In a nutshell, Blythe is a creative, imaginative young man that may seem quiet and emotionally lacking at first, but that's mainly because the internet has warped his personality to the point where he can go from emotionless to evil, and to happy, in snaps of a finger. He is very intelligent, and loves spells.
Personal Items: 11 inch wand made of an odd white bone from unknown origins. Holds a thestral hair wand core, and it's quite flexible..
Special Gifts and Abilities: Other than his overwhelming magical potential, Blythe is unnaturally intelligent and quick-witted, having done things that has taken even older wizards years to do; that is, creating different spells, and generally mastering his current repetoire of spells in small amounts of time.

Name: Rozalia "Roze" Éathliel
Age: 11
Gender: Female
House: Ravenclaw
Magical Heritage: Half-Blood; Witch Mother, Muggle Father.
Appearance:
Try ignoring her hair and eye colour, as it changes quite often. Depending on her mood, they'll change colours, which is fairly unavoidable. More often than not, she'll have blonde hair, as she has a naturally happy disposition, and her eyes will be a warm amber colour. Blue is sad, black is pain, red is anger... you get the idea.
Biography/Personality: Roze has known of the wizard world all of her life, thanks to her Mother's legacy; sadly, her Mam died shortly after Roze's birth during the wizarding war, and her Muggle father was left with a half-blood child, and a lot of information he really shouldn't have known. Thankfully, what with being in the Army and all, he was used to being discreet. So, he tried to integrate as much of the Wizarding world into Roze's life as the Muggle world she lived in, but it was hard, considering his wife was dead and he had no real connection left to the wizarding world. Because of this, Roze is still amazed and overwhelmingly curious of all the new things in this world - already adding to her naturally inquisitive nature, this made her crave for more knowledge of her new existence.
Although her curiosity and wit are her most overwhelming attributes, she has a great deal of bravery within her - and of course, bravery can often go hand in hand with wisdom, for sometimes you need to be brave to acquire knowledge. She has Hufflepuff's kindness and honesty, and above all, she values friends and those she loves.
Personal Items: 12 1/2 inch wand, Apple, Phoenix Feather Core, springy and intricately patterned.
Black kitten named Sora.
An old, decommissioned Time-Turner that belonged to her Mother. It doesn't work, but it's still pretty, and it reminds her of her Mother.
Special Gifts and Abilities: Whether it's because she is a form of Metamorphagi or not, Roze's Transfiguration abilities are astounding for her age - on top of all the extra research she's been doing, she's already practicing to be an Animagus, and is curious as to what form she'll take once she manages it. She also has a canny ability of picking up new languages, whether it be Tolkien's Elvish (Which she adores) Or Gobbledegook.
Age: 11

House: Ravenclaw

Age: 11
Gender: Female
House: Gryffindor
Magical Heritage: Pureblood
Personality: Charlotte is not what anybody would call a particularly serious person, but there is no doubting that she has both great talent and great intellect. She doesn't work well with others, due partially to her eccentric nature and otherwise as a result of her lazy, careless mannerisms. She seems to have no real passion in her, drifting absentmindedly through her magical education as if she was without a care in the world. This, of course, has earned her the ire of many a teacher and peer, particularly from those who believe education should be taken seriously. If something does manages to perk her interest, she will pursue it ruthlessly and without restraint.
Due to past incidents, she has a natural dislike both for muggles and muggle-born wizards, and does her best to avoid contact with them where possible. She is surprisingly easily provoked despite her calm appearance, and once irritated she tends to hold a grudge for long periods of time. Her malicious side is rarely shown, but when it is finally revealed to those who have wronged her, it might be described as a "Slow to take effect, but fast-killing sort of venom."
Assets: Eleven and a Quarter inch Hemlock wand, Dragon Heartstring. Her Raven, Shaman, which she has received special permission to keep.
Special Gifts and Abilities:
-Charlotte is what you would call a natural genius, she excels at virtually every subject and possesses a nearly peerless ability to learn from others and make complex observations on the fly.
-Her specialties are DADA and Potions.
-Has a gift for Duelling and the Dark Arts, passed on by blood through her parents.
Name: Ava Black
Age: 11
Gender: Female
House: Ravenclaw
Magical Heritage: Half-Blood
Quidditch position: Seeker
Personality:
Ava is very whimsical in nature. She sees the good in everything and everyone, and sometimes can be found attempting to converse with animals and other magical beings. She's good with owls. They seem to want to sit next to her after delivering their mail for a bit of a scratch and a small conversation.
Ava is passionate about magic, and wants to learn everything she can. It has made her seem a bit off to herself, to most people, and for that, she is sorry. However, when she's a great witch (or teacher), no one will make fun of her any longer.
Assets: 11 inch english oak wand with a phoenix feather core, and her screech owl: Rainy.
Special Gifts and Abilities:
She's gifted with animals, talking to them in between classes as if they're old friends. Who knows if they can actually understand her? Either way, they make her feel like she belongs.
She's an amazing flyer - possibly setting her up to play Quidditch.
Because she's whimsical, she doesn't get stressed out at all, and is a great listener to her fellow students. Though, she may be staring off over your shoulder at an invisible creature that only she can see (make believe creatures).

Name: Remington Black
Age: 15 (5th year)
Gender: Male
House: Ravenclaw
Magical Heritage: Half-Blood
Quidditch position: Chaser
Personality:
Remington is a typical pubescent boy. He likes to chase girls, and in return, he slacks on his studies, at times. He's a quidditch fanatic, however, and dreams of playing professionally some day. Who needs to know potions and things of that nature, when you're going to fly on a broom for the rest of your life? He has been in detention more times than he can count, and over time has found that it can be fun, especially when assigned to help Hagrid with his duties at night.
Remington's only true passion, besides quidditch is taking care of his little sister, Ava. She's out there in her own world, and he's seen the looks that people give her on a daily basis. They look at her like she's dangerous, and with the sorting hat nearly putting her in Slytherin, he had his worries. However, she couldn't hurt a fly - and wouldn't if she could. As long as he can keep her on the straight and narrow, he's done his job.
Assets: 12 inch hawthorne wand with a phoenix feather core, and a Great Horned Owl named Marx.
Special Gifts and Abilities:
He's charismatic and good with the ladies, changing girlfriends like he changes socks.
He's a good flyer, and a viciously passionate quidditch chaser.
He's almost worry free, like Ava, but not as whimsical. Nothing really gets to him, unless she's sad.

Name: Caelum Liquin
Age: 11
Gender: Female
House: Hufflepuff
Magical Heritage: Muggle Born
Appearance:
A thin little thing with dusty ginger skin and a button nose. Her long nappy hair is carefully braided and twisted, sometimes it is left dangling about her shoulders, sometimes coiled up into a bun, crown, or other interesting arrangement.
At 11 years old she is a stick, with no womanly curves to speak of. She will try to make up for what she ‘lacks’ with a daring shade of lipgloss, a black-winged eye, or a set of heels. She has a fashion sense and an eye for detail that is more mature than most her age (which the uniform robes will certainly dampen).
Backstory/Personality:
Caelum was raised in London. Her father is a plastic surgeon and her mother a model, both muggle and ignorant of the wizarding world. They believed in magic abstractly. Her father made ‘magic’ happen with his medical instruments, and her mother made ‘magic’ happen with her body and a camera. ‘Little Cae’ made ‘magic’ with her crayons. That was all they knew until an owl delivered a letter to Cae in their high rise apartment…
Her mother and father divorced when she was very young. Her father took full custody, though she saw her mother very often. Her parents get along well, while her mother remarried twice after and is currently single. Her father never remarried, he is an introvert who mostly keeps to himself and keeps busy. He entertains the occasional girlfriend, but nothing that lasts more than a few months. Her mother has a large network of friends and toted 'Little Cae' along on countless fashion shows, gallery openings, concerts, films, holiday parties, so on and so forth. Cae quickly developed self control obtained only by children who spend too much time with adults.
Unlike her mother, Cae is introverted. She loved going places with her mother but preferred to stay quiet and watch. She always brought along a little designer purse full of crayons and paper, keeping herself quietly occupied with doodling. Her doodling became quite good as she got older, and her mother knew plenty of artists to mentor her young talent. Crayons turned to color pencils, which turned to watercolors and acrylic...
Her parents had been considering sending Caelum to a private arts-focused school when they got the letter.
At first Cae did not want to go to 'Hogwarts'. If it was so great why hadn't they heard of it? Besides, she wanted to be an artist not a magician. (Caelum thought it was some sort of stage-magician’s school. She had met a few magicians, and saw through all their tricks! She certainly did NOT want to be like them!)
Then then the neighbors from downstairs showed up. Impeccable timing. They were there to congratulate Little Cae on ‘getting her letter’. ‘But how did you know?’ her parents asked. ‘Why, we saw the owl! We knew it had to be for little Cae!’ The neighbors downstairs were kind but they never spoke much. Firstly because in the city it is customary to ignore your neighbors, and secondly they always seemed a bit strange. They were unnerved to hear that Cae did not want to go, and invited her over for tea to talk it over. They claimed to be wizards themselves, and promised that they were not stage magicians.
They showed Cae what Wizard artwork looked like. Moving paintings. Caelum was amazed. It did not seem like making a cartoon, it seemed like making something alive.
Cae instantly changed her mind. She wanted to learn magic for herself and how to make her own paintings alive.
Cae is eager to learn and very talented. She has a bit of an ego, and is very critical of herself and others, particularly when it comes to appearances. In that way she is superficial. She grew up seeing adults with many acquaintances but no close or permanent connections. The most important quality of others is what they could do or their status in society, not who they were inside. This perspective makes it difficult for her to relate to others on a deeper level, and also reflects in her art. She is very good technically but often her work lacks 'soul' or an emotional quality.

Name: Richard "Richie" Corbeaux
Age: 11 (first year)
Gender: Male
Appearance: Average height for his age, fairly lean. He has dark brown hair and blue eyes. Looks a bit serious for his age. Not gonna see him out of his uniform robes much, but everything else is fairly standard (Jeans, tee-shirt, etc).
House: Hufflepuff
Magical Heritage: Pure-blood
Personality: Richie's a nervous kid. He's as awkward as you'd imagine most eleven year old boys are and he's doing what he can to try and fit in. His family is originally from France, but his grandparents moved to England before his parents were born. He doesn't from money, but his family isn't poor; they get by reasonably well on his father's wages as a court clerk for the Department of Magical Law Enforcement.
He's got a couple of younger siblings, and his passions include watching/playing quidditch around his village whenever he gets the chance and spending time with his mates. He's not a genius, but he does well in school.
Assets: 10 inch Oak wand with a dragon heart string core.
Special Gifts and Abilities:
Decent flyer, determined, and passable French he learned from his dad/grandparents (determined not to go full English).

Name: Isaak Boyars
Age: 12
Appearance:
House: Slytherin
Year: 2
Heritage: Pureblood
Wand:
Length: 12 1/2 in
Wood: Hazel
Core: Dragon heartstring
Flexibility: Slightly Springy
Bio: His family is strongly tied to the Boyars of old eastern Europe who were among some of the most prestigious families in Bulgaria and Russia during the middle ages. The Boyars were not only powerful among the muggles of eastern Europe, they were also among the noblest of wizarding bloodlines in Europe. Isaak's family moved to England over two hundred years ago, and it was almost like a tradition to have a member of their family to attend Hogwarts of School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and they all went into Slytherin. Isaak was taught that the history of his family was one of the greatest among the wizarding families and to be proud of his heritage. Living his childhood with his brothers and sister was very good and grew very close to them. Being the oldest meant that Isaak had to be the one brave the unknown of becoming a first year at Hogwarts, and he was afraid of not being placed in Slytherin. His eleventh birthday came and he soon off to Hogwarts. He spent a good amount of the ride on the Hogwarts express, listening to other first years talk about all manners of challenges they would have to go through to be sorted. When they finally came to the castle, they were led into great hall and were shown the sorting hat. One after another, a first year's name was called and the hat would speak out loud, placing them in their house. When it was his turn to be sorted, his heart had been racing and he was nervous. When he sat on the stool and the hat was placed on his head, it began to talk to him. It said that he had a great amount of potential. The hat mentioned that he could do well in Gryffindor, but Isaak whispered that he truly wanted to be in Slytherin, and the hat guessed that, since he recognized his family heritage. The sorting hat then shouted out Slytherin and Isaak was overjoyed to be apart of the house. His first year was great, he liked his classes, especially charms and he liked occasionally exploring the castle. He is now about to start his second year, and he is hoping to have an even greater school year in his second year. He also has hopes of joining the Slytherin Quidditch team.
Personality: Like with most Slytherins, Isaak is arrogant, ambitious and harsh when it comes to voicing his opposition against something he does not believe in. But despite those aspects of his personality, he does have good qualities about him such as being very loyal to his friends and very determined to do his best at becoming a great wizard. He also holds his family in the highest regard and loves them very much. His views on muggleborns is not as ignorant as some of his fellow Slytherins but he does feel like they do not belong in the prestigious houses like Slytherin, Gryffindor and Ravenclaw. He also looks down upon Hufflepuffs and thinks of them as underachievers. And finally, Isaak is incredibly proud to be a Slytherin and will argue fervently with anyone who insults the house.
Friends/Family members/Relationships?: His parents' names are Feodor and Anya. He has two brothers and one sister, and their names are Dimitri, Alexei and Anastasia. Dimitri is eight, Alexei is nine, and Anastasia is ten. Because he is a pureblood, Isaak has a lot of magical cousins and he gets along fairly well with them. Since he is only twelve, he obviously is in no relationships with anyone and will have no interests in having a girlfriend until he is older.

Name: Marcus Ashemark
Age: 11
Gender: Male
House: Gryffindor
Magical Heritage: Pure blood
Appearance:
Backstory/Personality: Marcus was born a single child to a wealthy family within the wizarding community, each of his parents respectable members of the public and the ministry of magic, his early years were spent with his mother, who put aside her job to raise the newborn boy, at their family home in Godrics Hollow. His fathers presence was sorely missed as he took on more hours to accommodate for the new addition to his family. Marcus grew up with a sturdy knowledge of the magical world and its inner workings, developing a strong set of principles mainly adopted from his fathers own, whom was a silent yet diligent worker, with a strong loyalty to his family.
He became fond of the sport Quidditch and fast became a steady supporter of the 'Falmouth Falcons' due to their passionate and quite often violent play style, this led him to be a somewhat rough around the edges youth, often playing outside with other lads around his age and older. Much of this was to the chagrin of his parents, as the others he played with were mostly half-bloods or from lesser houses, but his parents chose not to discourage his interactions with them, still believing him too young to discern the importance of blood in the wizarding community.
Marcus enjoys the company of others, although quiet around strangers, he grows fiercely loyal toward those who show him kindness. He's a fast learner, but finds himself easily distracted and at times downright lazy with subjects that bore him. He believes courage is best used in the face of adversity, but knows to keep a levelled head, nothing good comes to those who charge in head on.
Personal Items: 13 inch, ash wood wand with a unicorn hair core.
Special Gifts and Abilities: Marcus has a good degree of skill with a broom, his mimicked style of play from his favourite team, having pushed him to try somewhat dangerous stunts, has set him up as a potential chaser for his house when he gets older. He has also developed an uncanny talent for charms, a class which he thoroughly enjoys.
