Yeah we had several from our previous composer but we had to let him go after his equipment got destroyed and he went months without producing anything...He was working for OST profits and since he was let go I can't continue to use his works.

So yep using the new guy and yes he's pricey to match the quality of his skills and equipment

I'll give set up some issues in the city, explain a bit of what it's like and then you guys do what you want to give your character life. I wanted more people to be here before starting so you could create some story together but we'll make due with who we have now.

Yup, no need for me to be the ultimate hero in this. It's YOUR characters. The whole point of this is to give you guys a world in which you can create characters, stories, locations, and so on that YOU want. All I ask is that it stays within reason...The specific rules haven't been defined because I'm going to try and give you guys freedom until you push the limits too far and I'll make up the rules as we go.

Looks to me except for the working at every shop part. I can see him working a couple jobs but not 20+ haha.

Yeah lol. I was just thinking that he would work at random stores, and give quests that are kill/collect X number of X, and the reward is scaled to either strength of monster, or level of character. Just away to make money, and if it gets big enough for achievements one or two could be tied to him. Just thinking out loud...

Good ideas, never going to ask you to not give us ideas just won't be able to add them all in. Hope that's understandable.

Also as far as missions go I can't give details at the moment but the typical RPG missions like "kill x monsters" should be absent in place of something a bit more interesting.....but yeah for the rp do what makes sense with your characters and the world

May I ask a question or two?

1. Can lycans and humans procreate?

2. Does magic exist in this world?

3. What is the general age for 'adulthood'?

1) Never considered procreation, but yes lycanthropy in this world is more of a disease than a straight up race, so they could and the child would be a lycan.

2) Yes to some degree, Dragon Lords had/have magic and some of the people of Arenious are known to use magic but only within the walls of the city. Meaning if they leave, they also leave their source of magic.

3) It would be dependent on the culture of people just as it is in the real world. Due to the nature of this world you'd have to be able to take care of yourself at a younger age so 14-16 would likely be considered adult in most regions. Though as you'd imagine people are still developing both mentally and physically at those ages regardless of what society states as adult.

I have an idea for two characters.

One who is half Lycan, but does everything to hide it. She has very little self confidence and hates her differences.

The other is a thief just trying to keep her belly full and the rest of her in one piece.

Who do you think would be more interesting? I mean, every RPG needs a good thief, but I've got a hankering to see what I could do with the first character. I'd probably need a lot more knowledge of the lore to pull it off though.
