"Ru-chan," She stood beside her friend, peering down at her with wide eyes. "I didn't know you smoked." She took a seat beside her, coughing lightly as she inhaled the smelly cigarette fumes. "You know, if you're not feeling well you should really eat something..." Mira casually placed her curry tray in her friends lap and a green tea. She had reserved the various cakes and juices for herself since she wasn't really a fan of spicy food... and she just really liked dessert. "I waited for you at lunch time and didn't see you... I hope you don't mind that I came looking for you. I was getting worried." She sighed, her cheeks turning slightly pink as she opened a chocolate cake.
"Huh?" The enchanting voice had caught her by surprise and she nearly choked on the smoke she inhaled into her lungs.
Oh sh*t!! "Oh uh..hey Mira-chan." Tohru smiled a tad awkward, a hand shooting up to grab the cigarette from her mouth and snuff it out on the ground. "Yeah it's....it's a bad habit." Not that Tohru had bothered to quit it though. She leaned with her back against the wood of the sakura, such a natural position for her, as Mira sat beside her. She noticed the little cough the girl gave, not really offended much by it. She had to agree the brand she smoked was a little too strong for some, and it all but snuffed out the lovely scent of cherry blossoms. At least the wind was working its magic to rid the air of that noxious scent, and soon that sweet smell was wafting through Tohru's nostrils again. Of course she would've eaten something, had it not been for- but wait. What was this? Mira....brought her something?
"......" She didn't know what to say as she peered down at the plate of curry her friend placed before her, and a green tea? It was like she knew Tohru inside and out. "I....." Her eyes trailed up from the tray and met with Mira's, admiring that wonderful pinkish-red hue and how the sun seemed to dance upon the surface. "Thank you. You didn't have to do that, Mira-chan. Really." Someone generally cared for her for once. Someone actually knew she existed and treated her....like a person. Such a warmth her heart felt, only growing warmer as she noticed the familiar, and all too cute, spectacle of Mira's blushing cheeks, slowly becoming as pink as the sakura petals that fell around them in another peaceful and picturesque moment. "You're very sweet, Mira-chan." Taking a few bites of the red hot dish, she immediately felt the heat in her body, such a pleasure spicy foods gave her, the tingling sensation in her lips ever more joyful. It was strange how someone could enjoy spicy foods as much as Tohru, but for Tohru it was more the feeling she enjoyed than the taste.
While she ate, she listened to her friend speak, saying something of how she was worried about Tohru and that she came looking for her. She paused for a moment to take a drink of tea, flavored with a bit of citrus as Tohru liked it, before replying with a bit of a giggle, her own cheeks reddening, "Nah I'm alright. I was about to grab something to eat, but....well I'm flat broke, so I ended up here for another cig." She figured Mira might've already been sitting by Haruka or something instead of coming to look for her. It just...showed something to Tohru. What that was...well...it did show that Mira was indeed a dedicated friend and of course...a very caring young girl. "Really I would've just ended up here anyways. I like this place. It's quiet and well.....the view is pretty here." Her eyes...they just seemed to stay on Mira, admiring her every feature. Tohru might've been staring too long though, so she set her eyes away from the girl quickly, cheeks now insanely red, and towards the horizon, the watercolor painting of several pink petals fluttering about a perfectly clear sky. "You know something, Mira-chan...." A frail whisper escaped the teen's lips as she set the tray aside and curled her knees towards her body. "I'm glad I met someone like you....."
