I'm curious... Have our characters been set to the lowest rank? Are we granted the basic starting equipment? Since they're technically avatars in the game I'd like to know the in-game details (at least some of them) before I go assuming things wantonly.

Well, I assumed we're all level zero and we have our stats adapted from our real physical bodies Since my character used to do some strength training I got him to wield a 2h and I also assumed that Deep Ground would still have 0 level equipment just like every other MMO in existence

Wait, hold on, I just thought of something. Does that mean that we can kill dissolutions (or other players) to level and we'll level up in real life? 0_o Not really. But can we actually level or something if we have level 0 weapons? And also, I remember that there was something like your avatars could run faster and jump higher than your real life bodies. Does that apply to this situation?

The only thing you have with you are the clothing on your backs and some possessions on your person (Most of which would be useless in Deep Ground anyways, like cellphones). Can't say what would happen with your cat, but for all intents and purposes, you will have no outside influence aside from what occurs in Deep Ground until further notice.
