It does not matter whether you are of the old generation or the new. What matters is that you are a part of Fairy Tail, and that is a bond that will withstand the tests of time for many generations to come. Darkness looms over the Kingdom of Fiore once more with the arrival of those who would seek to destroy the light that radiates from the warmth of our hearts. Stand United, Fairies. Okay so I don't actually know if anyone from the old rp is actually still... well alive, but if you are then hello and welcome. It's been an eventful 9 months since the death of the last United we Stand Fairy Tail roleplay. It was going very well and we had some really amazing roleplayers. Unfortunately my life became really hectic just as we were really getting into it and I became insanely inactive. This always seems to happen...

But no matter! This is a pretty standard Fairy Tail RP based on a very very old idea that me and a friend (Well, 'friend' is a strong word since we don't even speak anymore) came up with that never really came to light. It almost did 9 months ago but hey, life's a bitch. Lets just pretend that roleplay was just the conception of this roleplay and now 9 months later it's ready to be born into a dragon wizard baby with pink spiky hair. And a jetpack. Aw yeah. So first a little bit about me, your GM. My username is Marc, but that's actually just short for Marcello which is my actual name. I'm an 18 year old dude who just finished his Cert IV in Education Support and is currently working as an EA at a school for children with autism. I love my job and I adore all the children I have the pleasure of working with. Aside from that though, I also love roleplaying and just well video games in general really. Now I know what you're thinking. "This roleplay is based on an old idea? You haven't even explained what that idea is in the above description of the story!" Well you know what they say, people that don't ask questions live longer. No one really says that but it's true. Joking aside, there is a story I just don't want this roleplay to feel so linear. I want it to be like an open world experience where you guys forge your own stories together that can either reach a resolution and be moved on from or intertwine and connect with the overarching story that I have planned and become something much bigger. I want everyone's characters to feel important, because believe me there is NOTHING worse than being in a roleplay and just being... there, watching everyone's characters interact with some major villain while you just sit back and watch. I don't like that, so I will do my best to make sure no one feels left out.

I don't really have much else to say except that anyone that WAS in the old roleplay that is rejoining has the right to shout as many insults at me as possible for being inactive right as it was getting good. Go on, do your worst.

The Rules

• Respect the decisions of the GM, and go to me for any problems you might have


• Stay within High Casual roleplaying Standards, and be active in both the IC and OOC


• Keep OOC out of the IC and vice versa


• General roleplaying rules (No godmodding, metagaming etc)


• Ignore all Canon Characters and antagonists, they don't exist in this roleplay.


• All Canon Magic is allowed, even Lost Magic. Try and keep it to about 2-3 Lost Magic users. This includes Dragon Slayers.


• Custom Magic is allowed and encouraged! I love seeing what people come up with.


• You can make your character as powerful as you want, but the higher up your character is the more I will be expecting from your CS/


• Weaker Characters grow faster than Stronger Characters and will generally have more opportunities to shine


• Despite me not minding stronger characters, I'm only allowing 2 S Class characters at the moment. Your CS's will need to impress me the most.


• The Guild Master is an NPC old man that anyone can control in non-combat situations. I don't have a name for him yet, just call him Gramps.


• If you don't think you're capable of meeting high casual standards but would like to join anyway, please don't let that stop you. All are welcome, and we're more than willing to give you a hand with posts if you need it.


• The plot of this RP isn't very linear. Things won't happen one after the other at my command. You won't just be blindly following the story I put in place for most of this, and as such you are expected to further to story in an interesting way on your own. For this reason communication is VERY important. Talk to your fellow roleplayers, talk to me, organise things we can do to make the story more interesting that relate to our characters back stories and help further our IC relationships.

**Magic Relics are ancient treasures of the magical world that may not have any value in or out of combat, but are worth quite a lot to collectors and can be used to greatly fund the guild if given to Alicia. Give Alicia 3 Relics and she'll trade them for a Greater Spell Tome; A tool for C Ranks or Higher that slightly aids them in learning a more powerful technique.

S Class mages can participate in missions that offer Spell Tomes and Magic Relics but will not receive them. Additionally the spell learnt must either be of your characters rank or lower, or one rank higher. Story Quests do not offer these rewards, but because story quests offer a greater opportunity for character development this is the trade off.

Personality: Zephyr is a strong willed man who will remain completely calm even in the most dire of situations and push forward with no hesitation. He is warmhearted, friendly, advising, open-minded and understanding believing there is good inside everyone, even the most sinful foes. Zephyr is usually seen chatting with older peers, but he does not mind hanging out with the young whippersnappers and teach them a thing or two. Often proclaimed as "The Hero of Fiore".

Back when Zephyr was young, he was a wild child with typical teenager behavior at that age. He had no long term plans for his future and always lived for the moment chasing women in their panties and drinking a ton of alcohol. Those were the good old days as he always says, ...but he has come a long way and everything is constantly changing around him for the better. His main objective in life is to find out what his own destiny is, after all he believes that he is living his brother's life.

Magic: Vibration Magic- Zephyr is able to create vibrations through any medium, including the ground, the sea, or even the air. He can also use this magic to infuse seismic energy within himself to enhance his own physical combat. With this comes with enhanced hearing since he would be able to detect the vibrations in the air on par with a dragon slayer.

Spells:

Seismic Burst- Zephyr pushes his own body against the air to create a small burst that could be used offensively and defensively.

Echo Stomp/Clap- A weaker version of Earth Splitter. Zephyr focuses mainly to his feet or hands to generate mildly powerful shock waves that would usually knock back an opponent or object with little force.

Earth Splitter- A stronger version of Echo Stomp. Zephyr focuses power into either his hands or feet to create a powerful shock wave into the ground resulting in a devastating earthquake and possibly generate a giant tsunami if near water. Like the name says, it is capable of creating a rift in the earth that could go on for miles.

Inverted Shake- Zephyr grabs the air itself where a large scale area around him shifts around which causes most people to fall off their feet. He can use this spell to lead projectiles away from him by shifting the air at a small scale.

Phase- By vibrating his own molecules he is able to pass through solid matter which includes magic. This could also be done by vibrating the solid matter itself to have a group of people run right through the wall. This takes an excessive amount of concentration considering that he has to hold his own breath right after he chants the spell.

Zephyr is one of the few old veterans who knew Pollux back when he had a full head of hair. He would always visit the guild when he was young and take on small time jobs along with his little brother Eurus. Zephyr has a wife and two kids, one daughter and one son. He is the current 3rd seat on the Magic Council and a renowned hero of Fiore.

Zephyr grew up in a rather wealthy family that did not hold a nobleman status. Their family owned a mining company known as the Buford Mining Company or BMC for short. The wealth made Zephyr have a snobby attitude while his younger brother thought everyone was equal regardless of wealth. Zephyr would always respond that some people are just born more equal than others. He deeply cared for his little brother Eurus despite that their ideals differ from each other. Eurus is a year younger than Zephyr yet he acted more mature than his older brother, he does have his 'little brother' moments whenever they get into a comical argument.

The two brothers were often seen together on the train that transported all the minerals to their drop off point. They liked to visit various towns along the way, but their favorite destination was Magnolia Town. The first time they visited Magnolia was when Zephyr was twelve years old, the same time when he discovered that he could use magic. They were astonished by the Fairy Tail guild that they wanted to be a part of it together, of course though their parents would never let them partake in any guild so they joined it in secrecy. Eurus was always against any activity that would get them in trouble, but in the end Zephyr persuaded his little brother with a silver tongue. The brothers would always visit the guild once or twice a week until the day they were caught several months later. As punishment their Fairy Tail mark were removed and they were sent to Rune Knight academy to get them under control. Well...it was more of a fun-ishment to Eurus considering he wanted to become a Rune Knight in the first place.

It was not long until Zephyr found a way to misbehave in Rune Knight Academy. A few weeks into their training, the brothers befriended a nobleman by the name of Caesar. Caesar had a personality similar to Zephyr's by abusing his status of nobleman to get what he wants. Eurus warned his older brother about the trouble they would get into again, but Zephyr was too stubborn to listen. Zeyphr thought Caesar would bring them into the promised land where they would become people of high importance. Four years later, BMC discovered the largest diamond in the world which required over a hundred men to fully dig it out of the ground. This was something Caesar could not pass up, he decided to try and pull off the biggest heist in the world. Caesar convinced Zephyr that with his Vibration Magic he would be able to extract the diamond no problem and all the money would belong to them. It took some thought, but in the end Zephyr agreed to help him. This was when Eurus put his foot down, he tolerated his behavior up to this point, but not anymore. Eurus tried to talk Zephyr out of it and threatened to tell their parents if he doesn't comply. The enraged Caesar used his paralyzing magic spell against Eurus to make sure he does not get in the way of their plan. Zephyr saw the look on his little brother's face as he hesitated on going with the impatient Caesar who had him by the balls with all of the stuff they have been through so far. Zephyr knew Caesar could get away with anything while he was left in the dust if he decides to betray him, with no other choice left he went on to carry out the heist.

When they arrived at the mines and located where the diamond was, it was time to extract their future out of the ground. Zephyr started to have second thoughts for the first time thinking it was too much after seeing his brother get hurt. Caesar called Zephyr a weakling and a coward if he did not extract the diamond. He then proceeded to make threats about how he will end up in prison if he does not do what he says right now. Zephyr finally had enough realizing that Eurus was right about a lot of things now. He fought against Caesar deep down in the mines forgetting that their magic power could cause the entire mine to collapse on top of them. The fighting stopped when the ground started to shake and it was time to leave the diamond behind if they value their lives. Before they even made the decision to escape, they were blocked in and all hope was lost. The ceiling started to collapse and a hard chunk of dirt hit Zephyr over the head knocking him unconscious. All hope was lost until Eurus arrived at the scene after the effects of Caesar's magic wore off.

Zephyr could not remember what happened after he woke up, all he saw was Pollux standing over him with a disappointed look on his face. He looked over at the destruction of the mines silently and realized his brother was nowhere to be seen. Pollux informed him that Eurus didn't make it out in time. In disbelief he tried to head over back to the mines to see for himself, but Pollux pulled him back and told him it was better if he didn't look. They mourned the loss of his brother the day after, the body was never recovered and Caesar's family was publicly denounced. At first Zephyr blamed Caesar for the cause of his death, but soon realized that he was the root of all the problems. Zephyr had to live with the guilt for the rest of his life, but wanted to make sure he lived on for the both of them.

Personality: Chloe is one of the more lively guild members. Friendly, outgoing, she's always the first, or one of the first people, to welcome new guild members. She's stubborn, hot headed, and a bit on the violent side when it comes to fighting. While she doesn't actively seek fights, she will never back down from one either. She doesn't take most things seriously though, even a fight that could have serious consequences. Still, she's loyal as they come and she's not afraid to get serious if she has to, but its rarely ever happened. She's quick to anger, but also quick to forgive and forget and will befriend anyone as long as they don't get on her bad side, which is like impossible.

She can be a bit laid back and lazy at times, and doesn't view herself as being much of a leader. She knows she's not to smart when it comes to things other than fighting, and believes while she would make a horrible leader, she'd make the best second the world had ever seen. She cares deeply for her friends though, and would be the first to come to any of theirs defense.

She's a strong willed woman who knows how to handle herself, and is skilled in fighting with her bare hands, something she learned at an early age how to do.

Stone Giants Armor: The caster is coated in a hard but flexible layer of earth, increasing defense against all attacks. Can be pierced if a moderate amount of force is applied though.

Stone Giants Shield: A massive wall of earth erupts in front of the user, blocking all attacks in that one direction.

Diver

Offensive

Hands of the Stone Giant: - Two massive hands made of stone are created from the surrounding earth. They act as an extension of the casters hands. Can be used to block incoming attacks, or hit something with enough force to be sent flying. The giant hands possess enough strength to crush solid steel within seconds.

Rampage of the Stone Giant: Numerous earthen spikes rise from the ground at high speed and rush at the target. The length can be changed on the whim of the caster.

Hammer of the Stone Giant: A giant earthen hammer is created from the surrounding earth and smashes the target with great force. If used in conjunction with "Hands of the Stone Giant" Its destructive force is doubled.

Biography : Chloe doesn't know her real parents, or even her real name. She was found by a group of travelling merchants abandoned in the wilderness. Judging from wreckage in the area and a few dark red stains on the earth, something, or someone must have killed everyone but the girl. The merchants, unable to leave the baby girl there, decided to take her in and raise her themselves. It was a, interesting life, to put it lightly. The merchants trained her how to fight at a young age as well, since they were always short on protection, and the wilderness at night could be a dangerous place. They trained her mostly in hand to hand combat, since they didn't trust a little kid with their weapons. In all, Chloe enjoyed the life the merchants gave her, even if it was a little hard every once in awhile. It didn't last though....

One night, the merchants were attacked by mages from a dark guild. None of the merchants stood a chance, and though Chloe tried to fight them, she was no match for them since she didn't have any magic herself. She was given a large wound across her chest and left for dead. She would have been, had a mage not stumbled upon the scene moments later. He patched up Chloe's wounds and saw that she had magic in her blood. He offered to teach her how to use earth magic, and she accepted.

After a few years of training, her master, a man by the name of Juha, said that he taught her all he could teach, and that she should travel the lands, possibly even join a guild to further her own abilities, and that if she came back later and he deemed her worthy, he had something he wanted to give her. After a goodbye, she left. Her travels soon brought her to Fairy Tail, and she eagerly joined.

Other: I plan on her getting more spells as we go through the RP, Obviously.
Though she is seemingly skilled in earth magic, she can't change its properties yet, meaning she can't turn earth into something as solid as Iron.

Acacia

Nickname/Alias: The Violet Spear

Other Details : Currently not in the guild. A practitioner of dark magic that seeks to gain power for her own reasons.

Personality: Cold, calculating and just all around not generally a good person. Slow to anger and level headed, even under stressful circumstances, usually. She's the type to plan ahead for almost any possible outcome and have several escape routes planned should her plans go awry. She's skilled at this, and can easily name weaknesses and exploits and places that would make for a good escape route. A master manipulator, she can easily make others do as she wish, either through charm, or through black mail if that should fail. If both fail, she will not hesitate to resort to violence and use of fear to get what she wants.

She doesn't do much direct fighting. Preferring to let her enemies tear themselves apart or send someone to do her dirty work. Do not mistake her hesitation to fight for weakness however, as she is quite adept and magic and physical combat. She is absolutely ruthless, and will not give any quarter to her enemies. Words don't have a place during battle, and any who think they do shouldn't be fighting. Light and agile on her feet, those who make the mistake of thinking that her physical defenses are lacking are in for a beating. She delights in making her enemies suffer before ending them.

Arsenal: A Spear attuned to dark magic. Spells cast through the spear are amplified. Quite skilled at using it as a Melee weapon as well.

Mage Rank: High A rank, verging on S rank in terms of power, if she was going to be ranked by a guild.
Magic: Darkness Magic

Spells:
Darkness Magic: Mainly skilled in darkness magic, it is her main form of combat. However, she has dabbled in other areas and has created some spells from them.

Deffensive Spells

Dark Barrier = as usual though, hers is a dark purple color and can be enlarged to form a protective sphere around her, not just one direction.

Dark Repulsion: Repels anything around the caster and throws them in a random direction with an immense force. Anything sufficiently fast may break through the repulsion field though.

Dark Parasite: A type of Organic Link magic. The user forces a magic bond with a target, slowly draining them of their magic and replenishing their own reserves. Somewhat difficult to achieve such a link in direct combat, as the caster must physically touch the victim. Its effects aren't noticeable immediately, but over a period of time the victim should notice a problem of their magic reserves. Can only be used on one person at a time.

offensive spells

Dark Wave = However, the coloration of her magic is a dark purple color. She can perform this with either her feet or her fists, or the end of her staff.

Void Javelin: Similar to Chain magic. Instead of grappling hooks though, numerous spears are shot towards the target. The chains are much harder to break and the spears can be manipulated simply through the casters hand motions. For more precise control though, the caster must hold the chains.

Void Storm: A void opens beneath the target and a swirling vortex of dark magic engulfs them. Anything inside is lashed with razor sharp shards of solidified dark magic.

Void Pulse: Similar to Dark Pulse, but much more pin point accurate. Able to cause either a single large explosion, or a chain of smaller explosions.

Void Obliterate: By far, her most powerful spell. The user gathers a sphere of dark magic in their hands, or another focal point. (I.E. A staff) After releasing the built up energy, it releases a beam of pure dark magic in a wide area in the direction the caster desires, turning anything it hits that's not a human into dust. Very powerful and consumes a large amount of energy. Usually her trump card, since it takes a lot of energy to cast.

Other Magic

Re-quip: Since a dress isn't that good for fighting in, she keeps a suit more geared towards it in a small Re-quip pocket. It doesn't have any special properties, but it is less restrictive than a dress.

Teleportation magic: She uses this to move about, seemingly without moving on a battle field.

Biography: Acacia was born on a cold October night in a remote region near the border of Bosco to a family of secretive mages. They were unaffiliated with the magic council or dark guilds, and were essentially an independent faction of mages. Acacia was the fourth born of her parents, meaning she got the short end of the straw when it came to her parents training and favoritism. Though they treated her like her three other siblings, her magic power was relatively weak compared to theirs, making living in a family of mages where magic power was everything a bit difficult. She persevered and became quite adept with teleportation magic at a young age.

Despite that, however, she was far behind her siblings. She wanted to be the favorite for once. But she had no idea how she should even go about it. There was only so much a child could do. She couldn't shoot flames like her eldest brother, bend the earth like her sister, or even use reflector like her youngest brother. All she could do was use some teleportation magic. It wasn't flashy. It wasn't very useful. You could hardly do anything with it. For a time, she resigned herself to be a disappointment to her parents. Until one day, they brought home a rather interesting weapon...

It was early morning, and Acacia was supposed to be in bed. However, for some reason, she couldn't bring herself to get back to sleep. Instead of laying restlessly in bed, she decided to see if there was anything interesting going on. That was when she heard her father talking to some of his friends about a recent item they had...'procured'. Curious about such an item, Acacia used her magic to get to the item unseen by her father. She had a direct line of sight to where it was laying, so it was easy enough. After pulling the cover off of it, Acacia laid eyes on the most beautiful thing she had ever seen. A spear, the same color as her hair. She was just about to touch it, but her father saw her in time. He decided to confine her to her room for a week. For days she couldn't get that spear out of her head. It haunted her dreams, and she wanted it. All she had to do was get it from the Vault, where her parents stored all of their magic artifacts. Getting in would be easy. All she had to do was wait until someone was coming out, and teleport in before it closed. After that, it was easy....or it should have been.

Acacia made it to the spear. She touched it and held it in her hands. It felt right to her, like it should stay there. She felt....powerful holding it. For some reason, she knew with this she could be powerful...she could finally surpass her brothers and sisters and gain the favor of her parents. But how? It was just a spear. it couldn't do anything by itself, could it? It was then she noticed an old dusty tome sitting in the corner of the vault. It detailed a few spells. After trying to learn a few and failing, she almost gave up. She got the idea from somewhere to try it holding the spear, and suddenly it almost became as easy as breathing was.

after a few months of practicing in secret, she was able to cast the spells without the help of the spear. At the same time she became more and more obsessed with beating her brothers and sisters, and becoming more powerful. One day, she completely lost it and used some of the magic she was working on in secret, impaling her oldest brother several times, killing him instantly.

After this, her parents locked her in her room with several magic seals around it, hoping to prevent her from leaving. As they wanted to find a solution to their problem. She had murdered someone with dark magic, after all. The council would find out eventually, and they couldn't have an investigation launched into some of their more...questionable activities. Her parents decided that handing her over in return for no investigations launched. She found a way out though, and even though they had locked the spear away somewhere else, she found it. And she killed them. All of them. Even the servants, and she made sure each of her siblings and parents received the harshest deaths that she could inflict. This was the last time she would be called weak, and the last time she would take orders from someone.

She continued to refine her magic skills alone. She didn't need anyone else. They would only try to order her around and prevent her from reaching her full power. Eventually though, she got word of some interesting things going on and decided to see if she could get in on some of it....

History:: Kyuuten lived in a small village where the people had always had strong connections to the Celestial World. It was there that Celestial Unity Magic was being developed. Kyuuten's mother was the head of the development team so he was always hearing about the details. Most people in his village were celestial wizards and he himself was in training to become one. His mother was on the verge of completing the new magic when the village was suddenly attacked by an upstarting dark guild. As Kyuuten witnessed his village be destroyed he felt powerless and wondered how anyone could cause such suffering. Thanks to his mother's celestial spirit Kyuuten was the only one who managed to escape the devastation. The spirit disappeared without warning and he knew what it meant when a spirit was sent back to the Celestial World without it's wizard's command. His home was gone and he was alone. Two members of the dark guild had followed him and his mother's spirit anxious to continue their bloodthirsty rampage. They were poised to kill the young boy. Then, in his frightened state Kyuuten started to emit large amounts of magical energy, inadvertently summoning a celestial spirit. A young celestial spirit appeared but she was just as scared as Kyuuten. In the midst of this as he thought about his mother and about all she had worked for, Kyuuten felt something begin to resonate between him and the spirit. In an instant it they shared their experiences, painful and happy. Kyuuten pleaded with he to lend him her strength and suddenly there was a flash of light and when he came to his senses it was over. He felt the power he just used fade from his body as another momentary light left him and the spirit unable to completely comprehend what had just happened. Kyuuten saw that the dark guild members were lying on the forest floor unconscious. He took one of their weapons to finish them off, to avenge everyone. As he realized what he was doing he stopped. He couldn't bring himself to be a monster like them, to cause pain and take lives like they did. He spared them, taking the spirit girl's hand and fleeing. Kyuuten knew what he wanted his mother's legacy to be used for: to help and protect others. After they were safely away from the rest of the dark guild, Kyuuten contracted with the spirit, asking her to help him become strong. Over the next three years he sought out people to teach him magic and discovered more about his mother's magic with the wish to never see people being hurt and feel useless again. Kyuuten learned Heavenly Body magic and developed his skills with Celestial Unity, but he still has a lot to learn.

Magic:: Celestial Unity: Similar to celestial wizards, celestial union wizards summon celestial spirits. Unlike most celestial wizards, union wizards have their own fighting capabilities and merge with celestial spirits to combine their strengths, creating a stronger magical force. Instead of contracts, bonds are made with the spirits. Bonds don't have conditions, but to make a bond with a spirit the wizard must be deemed worthy by the spirit itself. Combat spirits mostly insist on one-on-one battles, while other area oriented spirits have the wizard perform a task. These bonds are the strength behind this magic. The wizard obtains physical strengths of the spirit (speed, strength, etc.) and have access to the spirits unique powers and any weapons they use. The wizard experiences some side effects, such as physical features that can be, but rarely, permanent and random exhibitions of the mannerisms of a spirit. It is extremely difficult for the wizard to switch between spirits as the process of un-merging, summoning a new spirit, and re-merging takes time and can be taxing.

Kyuuten's most trusted spirit and best friend, Pyrrha was the first spirit he ever made a Bond with. She is an optimistic girl with a quiet bookworm personality. She's very loyal and protective of Kyuuten, usually sticking around using her own power just to be around and spend time with him.

The Demon Flame, Kara

For a time he was shunned for his demon like appearance, but Kyuuten only saw him as a partner and friend. Kara can be overzealous and hotheaded. He's also a bit of a handful especially when he starts threatening to burn things down. The Bond with Kara is incredibly strong leaving Kyuuten with his own demon tail at all times. Kara provides Kyuuten with speed and powerful purifying blue flames that can be harnessed with the demon's sword.

Personality : James is quite shy, and is quite socially awkward. He is often found alone, but he would hang out with people he knew really well. In general, James is quite a nice, kind boy, often cracking a few jokes. He often would keep an eye on people if he thought they were talking about him, as he is slightly paranoid about things. He gets upset quite easily, and it's often hard to get back in his good books if you're the one who caused it. He is too polite not to shout in anger and be mean, but he'd probably start to ignore you and 'not realize that you were there'. James has a few hobbies, one of which is reading. Other than that, he likes to be outside, but spends an equal amount of time inside. He's quite fond of admiring nature, and he often looks at the sky, probably expecting Zariana to come back.

During combat, James keeps his cheerful nature, unless he gets angry, which he will start to be aggressive, rarely even to his own teammates. He would start to attack rapidly, unless he manages to calm himself, which he manages about 75% of the time.

Arsenal : James keeps a sword on him. It's important to him, since it is his only memory of his sister. It is made of an unknown material, which is near indestructible. James hardly uses it, though, except he will often draw it during combat.

Biography : James was born to a mother who didn't want to have a child, but had accidentally gotten pregnant thanks to her boyfriend. He was born in the woman's house, and was kept there for only a few days before he was put in a basket and dropped off at night at the doorstep of the local orphanage. He stayed there for three years, slowly getting a little bit of education from the orphanage staff. Eventually, he was picked up by a woman who looked nice. She commented on how cute James looked, and talked to the orphanage staff about him. James finally thought he was going to get a home, and get real parents, people who loved and cared for him. He was adopted by the woman, and taken to her home.

Once he arrived, young James was happy, he actually had a family now. He had a sister, called Sarah, a father and a mother. His surname was officially changed to Feryana and he got slowly taught how to write and talk. James was cared for, particularly by his sister. Sarah would always play with him, help him, treat him very nicely.
Unfortunately, all of this changed. When James was eight, his parents started to treat him more like a slave than a son. They made him do all the ironing, washing, cleaning, even chopping wood for the fire. If he didn't do something well, he would get punished. Sarah often tried to help her younger brother, but was told not to. His parents stopped him from going to school, and instead made him do chores. His life was torture, even when his parents were at work; his father at his blacksmith, his mother a cleaner at the theater. James worked hard, trying to get back on his parents' good books, not knowing what he did wrong to have this done to him. Sarah started to go to the blacksmith with the father, so James was left all by himself almost every day.

One day when James was nine, James planned on running away from home. He didn't want to stay, as he didn't want this done to him. He waited for one more week to see if things would improve, but of course, they didn't. One Saturday, at midnight, he stayed awake. Everyone in the house appeared to be sleeping, so James slowly and quietly got up, then started to swiftly but quietly move out of his bedroom. He managed to sneak all the way to the kitchen, but as soon as he walked through the kitchen door, the light came on. "Where are you going?" Whispered Sarah. She was standing in front of the door that lead outside the house. "Away." James whispered back. "Away from this torture." He had a tear in his eye. The only thing that made him hesitate was Sarah. He didn't want to leave her. She was the only person who he knew cared for him, and loved him like a brother. Sarah sighed, as she knew this was going to come sooner or later. She looked down to the ground. "I know." She said. "That is why you need this," Sarah opened one of the cabinets that their parents usually never needed to go into, and withdrew a green backpack. She handed it to James. "It has food, water, and a sword you can remember me by." She didn't mention that it had a picture of her and James together in it, as well. James slipped on the backpack, and Sarah couldn't hold it back any more. She practically leaped at James and hugged him tight, tears pouring down her eyes. "James," She whimpered quietly. "Just know that I love you, and you are the best person that I have ever known." This sentience also started to make James cry, and he replied quietly, "Sarah, I love you too. You are the best person that I have ever known."

Five minutes later, James was walking away, crying. Leaving them was hard for James, but he had to in order to get a better, non abusive life. He walked alone for a few days, living off of food in the backpack. He often took breaks, and relaxed for a while. He took a look at the sword that Sarah had given him, and the sheath that had came with it. He put the sheath to his left, and put the sword in it, which fitted perfectly. He continued to walk for another two days, coming off of the path and now walking through a forest. He came to a small clearing in the forest, and started to walk on what he thought was a big, bright rock shining in the sunlight. As he stood on it, he heard a small rumble. He thought that he was hungry, and that his stomach was grumbling, but the rumble came again. The 'rock' beneath him began to shake, and he fell off of it and onto the ground. Suddenly, the 'rock' raised itself, and appeared to be a dragon!

James was terrified. He slowly reached for his sword as the dragon turned it's head to face him. It lowered it's head down to his face, which wasn't really that much lowering as it was only about four times the size of James. The young boy froze in fear, and the dragon raised it's head back up. "There's no need to be afraid." It said, in an unusually soothing female voice, making James put his hand back to his side, leaving the sword in it's sheath. "I am a dragon. I am called Zariana," it continued. "You look lost."

James was so still at that point that it looked like he was paralyzed. He slowly opened his mouth. "I-I-" He stuttered. "I left my f-family. They abused m-me." He was already in tears at that point, and the dragon Zariana gently took him in her soft, white tail, and took him close to her face. "It's okay." She said, in her soothing voice. "I'll take care of you." James was confused at how a dragon could possibly look after a human, but nonetheless nodded. She plopped him onto her light grey coloured back, and walked through the forest to where there was a tiny cave and a small lake. Zariana began to teach him things, such as writing and drawing.

For the next five years, Zariana taught James more than just writing. She began to teach him the basics of sky dragon magic, as she, herself, was a sky dragon. James managed to toughen himself over the years, and managed to do the magic that Zariana taught him. One day, however, James woke up smiling, ready for another day with the dragon. He got up, and walked out of the cave. He looked around. The sky dragon was nowhere to be seen. "Zariana?" He called. No reply. He started to walk, occasionally calling out for the dragon. She was nowhere, and James started to cry. He had been left, alone. James cried for days, walking, trying to find the dragon. She was nowhere. He lived on berries for about two weeks, trying to get, well, anywhere. "I can't believe she's gone," James would always say to himself.

One day, James saw civilization once again, a town. He walked through the town, catching strange glances from everyone. He was scared, not just because this was a new town, but because he hadn't been in touch with anyone human within the last five years. He walked around, and eventually found the magic guild of Fairy Tail. He stood outside for about fifteen minutes, considering what to do. This was a place to learn magic, a place he could call home. But every home before this had vanished. Should he let another one vanish? Yes, he finally thought. He could join Fairy Tail, because he wasn't going to let this home vanish.

Other : Using a healing spell takes a lot of magic energy from James, and it often tires him out a little. Use it too much, or if he has low magic energy, and he will most likely pass out.

Other Details : Sanguin's guild mark is on her left cheek, large and bright red in color. Beneath the mask, her face is an interesting one. Her eyes are light brown and her hair is short and blonde, often very raggedy. Her eyebrows are notably bushy, her nostrils flaring, and her canine teeth pointed. Sanguin is only concerned about her physique as far as combat capability is concerned; well aware of the fact that you can't have bulk muscle without fat, she is a bit thick.

Personality : On the scale of morality, Sanguin stands at chaotic neutral.  She is naturally competitive, self-serving, proud, and aggressive when challenged to the point of seeming maniacal when fighting.  Generally, Sanguin will gravitate toward what's right or what's best, but she harbors a disrespect for authority and a tendency to make immoral choices in the line of what's right and what's best, making her somewhat Machiavellian. Despite this she is very social with those who have proved themselves to be reliable to her, particularly to her guild, for which she has developed a powerful loyalty—much like pack behavior. To elucidate on her sexuality: she is not attracted to either gender, and finds romance stupid and sex appalling.

Arsenal : Sanguin carries two unnamed weapons. One is a scimitar of obsidian, only one side of which is sharp enough to cut. Its blade is serrated, making it particularly effective against living things but not too helpful against solid objects. Her shield is made of the hide of a beast, and is incredibly durable despite being very lightweight. The needle-thin poles on either end have some niche uses.

Spells: Sanguin is not a terribly accomplished magician, with most of her spells fomenting her physical prowess, but they don't deplete much magic power either.

Wild Heart – immediately shifts Sanguin to wolf form. In wolf form, her defense is understandably less but she possesses incredible strength and speed.
Wild Lung – alters some of Sanguin's organs to keep her from tiring out. Can be used to heal herself, but since her organs will revert after a time, it is only a temporary solution.
Wild Tracer – boosts Sanguin's senses, particularly the smelling of blood, allowing her to track wounded targets or identify an individual based on their blood.

Spirit Warrior – creates a thought projection of Sanguin in human form. These can expend their energy to block a single strike before disappearing.
False Legion – creates up to ten extra human copies at the same time, all of them intangible. One of them can take her place to aid in the confusion.
Spirit Predator – creates a thought projection of Sanguin in wolf form. These can expend their energy to deliver a single strike before disappearing.
False Pack – creates up to ten extra wolf copies at the same time, all of them intangible. One of them can take her place to aid in the confusion.

Biography : Sanguin's was never an easy life.  She was born far away from Fairy Tail (and indeed, most of the civilized world) in the medical tent of the mercenary company Razor Wolves to a camp follower impregnated by a soldier after a particularly grueling battle.  The mother chose her company well; the Razor Wolves seized victory on every battlefield they took, and even the lowly camp followers managed to scrape together a passable existence from day to day.  Despite this, the months of pregnancy in a mobile, at times hostile environment took an irredeemable toll on hey, and she died during childbirth.  Whether goaded into doing so by guilt, responsibility, honor, or passion, the father -named Yoric- swore that he would take charge on the baby should he survive the final battle in the Razor Wolves' campaign.  Fortune smiled on the child; the soldier survived and took the girl back with him to his home village, where he worked as a mason and served as a sheriff. 

It would seem that young Sanguin was destined for the mercenary life, however.  The onset of a second magical war, this time between the forces of the royal brother and a sister contending for their father's throne, meant that the land was under siege once more.  Men flocked to the battlefields, drawn by duty, gold, or glory.  Sanguin, then sixteen years old and truant as they come, tagged along with her reluctant father but promised to stay away from the actual fighting.  At first, it seemed like the aging soldier's luck held true, and he survived (if not triumphed) in every skirmish he fought in.  Fate eventually caught up with Yoric at the Minstrel's Crossing, a wooden bridge spanning a rushing river, one day after a drawn-out battle finally ended in retreat.  The platoon in which Yoric was serving (no longer part of the Razor Wolves, instead a famous band called the Dragonriders) was ambushed by a trio of witches, who demanded payment for crossing the bridge.

When the irritable, fatigued soldiers brusquely refused, the wrathful witches unleashed an incredibly power Transformation magic upon them, turning each man into the creature he most resembled.  Amid the pigs, dogs, goats, crows, snakes, and lizards, there was a silver bear and a crimson wolf: Yoric and Sanguin.  Seeking revenge for his comrades, bold Yoric attacked the witches with his claws and massive strength.  He succeeded in wounding one before the others teamed up to send him far away with Teleportation magic.  Enraged, Yoric's lupine daughter followed in his footsteps.  Targeting the downed witch, she threatened to rip her heart out.  To pacify the wolf and save their sister, the other witches turned Sanguin back to human before fleeing.  As the girl quickly found out, the witches' curse remained even though she was mostly back to normal, and in addition she discovered that -presumably by claiming victory over the hostage witch- she had helped to awaken the Magic Power within herself.  After spending some time working in one place or another, always on the lookout for a silver bear, she stumbled upon Magnolia and its resident Guild. While she initially only signed on as work, she gradually came to trust the guild members and eventually confided her situation in the master. It was then that the officially joined Fairy Tail, and after getting her magic under control found she had quite the aptitude for it.
Other : She goes pretty much exclusively by 'Sanguin'. Her real name is largely unknown. Most often, she'll be seen wearing her mask, but is not hesitant to show her face if need be.

Personality : Very Playful, always turns things into a joke or game. Loves music of almost all types

Arsenal : Drill-Lance and chain. It is a very light and twisted lance, with a chain of 10 feet attached to the end and to Haust's right wrist. Drill like metal-craft.

Magic Type : Water/Lightning 2nd gen Dragon Slayer.
Mage Rank : High B class, with the power of Class A magic. Lacks skills of Class A.
Magic : Piercing Magic/Drilling Magic. All of his magic is based on breaking through defense's for precise and accurate attacks. Very strong, but not real burst power.

Biography : Always wanted to show the kingdom of Fiore that he was both stronger, and much more happy then all other wizards. Haust had a parent dragon, but it was old when Haust just born. The dragon inserted all of it's magic into a Lacrima for Haust when he was just 5 before the dragon passed away. Haust had many friends, but never a lover. He had never been shy to talk to everyone, and always went on missions far away from his guild. He loved to travel and see new magic. He never had an exceed as a friend, but he knew many and enjoyed the way they acted and talked. Haust was preparing for many battles, for he loved facing giant monsters on the battlefield, and has been known to out maneuver almost all of his opponents for he moved like water, but at the speed of lightning.

He gained the title "Raging Ocean Dragon" by defeating a giant Lobster like monster while in the middle of the ocean with no boat. He also was known as "The Storm Child" to most on the eastern coast line of Fiore, for anytime he drank, he would burst into song it seemed while using his magic to put on a show of light and mist.

Spells : Illuminate - His most basic of spells. Lights a dark room.
Light knives - Name is misleading, this spell is more like a pulse laser, but the lasers are able to cut most non-reflective material.
Light sword - Also a misleading name, this spell works like light knives, except stronger, continuous, and more taxing.
Mirage - By creating light in certain patterns, he can trick others into seeing things that aren't actually there, and on the flipside...
Vanish - Make an object appear invisible by bending light around the object.
Stun - Cause a blinding flash of light that will temporarily blind anyone unfortunate enough to look at it.

Biography : Born in a very poor family, a boy by the name of Vero Poppy hated who he was. He was just a common villager with nothing to show for himself. He wanted to dazzle people, and so in his spare time would read up on magic in the town library. Even after a year of reading, he couldn't perform any magic, and that was when he ran into Ross Beacon, a wandering wizard, who was intrigued by Vero's resolve. Ross spent the next several years training Vero, until one day, when Ross mysteriously disappeared without a trace. Having no idea what to do, Vero took on the disguise and persona of his teacher, and gave himself the name Vero Beacon. That's when he joined Fairy Tail, to get stronger, and at the same time, locate Ross.
Other : Due to the fact that he manipulates light, his vision is more acute than a hawk's, and he can stare at anything bright (i.e. the sun) without any negative side effects.

Personality : Zy is a very outgoing, eccentric person who gives off an aura of confidence that draws others to him quite easily. His charisma makes him quite popular and desirable, and he can always be counted on for a laugh when you need it. Zy is rather clingy, and doesn't really handle solitute well at all. He acts up a lot and his playful antics become quite harmful to others when he's seeking attention. He can be quite bothersome to deal with as being around him is very exhausting due to his over the top nature. He very rarely pays attention to anything, easily distracted by the smallest of things. He's actually a very kind person if you can look past his attention seeking behaviour and he can always be counted on by his guild to fight alongside them.

Like most people in Fairy Tail, Zy loves to get into a fight and be rowdy, and he is very arrogant, taunting his enemies constantly. Even despite his physical strength lacking to that of his guild mates, he still smack talks and boasts to be the best; often leading to his own inevitable thrashing. When in a serious fight, he plays to his strengths; using deception and trickery to gain the upper hand through his illusions.

Spells :

Sleight of Hand: A simple "parlor trick" if you will that casts a very basic illusion that slightly alters something about reality. Sleight of Hand is very useful in creating confusion over fine details that would otherwise have been ignored. As the name suggests, Sleight of Hand is a spell that does not require a Magic Circle. Rather Zy just needs to make a very subtle motion with his hand to inflict the illusion. The illusions created from Sleight of Hand can be as simple as changing a street sign or as complex as making someone believe they are actually left handed instead of right handed. Once the victim realises what it was that was altered, it becomes much easier to see through the illusion.

Smokescreen: Zy's body begins to grow in size, puffing up like a balloon. After he reaches the size of a small boulder, his body erupts into a mass of purple smoke that covers a large area. This "Zy" was really just an illusion and the real Zy remains stealthed inside his own illusion. The smoke cloud covers a moderate area, and enemies inside will greatly have their vision reduced. This makes for a perfect escape mechanism, and can even aid greatly in a battle. Enemies that try to walk out of the smoke screen will have their senses disrupted and force them to walk in circles. Once this is realised, getting out of the illusion becomes much easier.

Shadow Walk: Zy casts an illusion that allows him to directly track a target without them even realising it by pretending to be their shadow. Zy is mostly overlooked in this form and able to go where he pleases, but more perceptive people will be able to notice that their shadow doesn't actually match their shape.

Sly Mind Trickery: Zy casts an illusion over various people that causes them to lose their sense of direction and cause them to wander aimlessely. More perceptive people are able to detect this after sometime, but nonetheless Sly Mind Trickery is a powerful diversion technique.

Zy's Interrogation Magic: Arguably Zy's most useful spell. Upon making eye contact with his target, he places them into his illusion where they enter a dream-like state, an empty realm where they can only hear Zy's voice. Zy can then ask any question he desires, which is repeated and echoed thousands of times inside his target's mind until their psyche gives in and tells him what he wants to know. Very easy to disrupt as eye contact must be made at all times. While it is easy to avoid, this illusion is very hard to escape from. There are only two ways to escape the interrogation illusion; Zy being disrupted and unable to make eye contact, or Zy running out of magic power as the illusion constantly drains him to keep it up. A strong enough willed person is able to delay giving into his interrogation for a longer period of time than most, which in some cases can very well stall out the spell so that Zy runs out of power before getting the information he wants.

Biography : Zy grew up in Magnolia with his older sister and father. Their mother had passed away due to illness one winter when Zy was too young to really remember her. Zy's father was a wizard of Fairy Tail, as was his sister, and it was expected that Zy would follow their footsteps and become a powerful wizard of the Guild. Zy practically grew up inside the Guild Hall, and Master Pollux was practically a grandfather to him. He would play with all the other young Guild members and became very close friends with a lot of them. He was often scolded by Alicia and his father for being disruptive and clowning around while others were trying to work or relax in the hall. Zy looked up to and admired the other wizards and couldn't wait to start training himself.

When that day finally came, Zy was disappointed to find that he had no talent whatsoever in regards to his family's magic. His family specialised in strong elemental magic, but no matter how hard he tried he just could not get the hang of it. Physically his body wasn't strong enough to even handle the elements properly. Filled with despair, Zy looked to Master Pollux for help. He told him that with time, his magic would reveal himself and that he would need to find it on his own. Taking his advice to heart, Zy stopped training with his family and began to study magic in every spare moment he could find. It was while studying that he realised that perhaps he was not meant to use a physical magic, one that could be touched and controlled with the body. Instead, he found that his magic was far superior with delving into the unknown and manipulating the minds of others.

Illusion magic was something that Zy had a hard time accepting. He envisioned himself as this juggernaut covered in flames and blood that would charge through the ranks obliterating everything. Eventually Zy started to realise just how much more fun tricking the mind and toying with another's senses could be. He became known as Fairy Tail's Mirage, and his ability to invade the psyche and extract information has become a valuable asset to the Guild.
Other : Zy has no hand to hand combat training aside from all the fights he's been in with his fellow guild members.

Personality : Yukiko, to put it lightly, is an odd child. Her head, along with the rest of her, is always up in the clouds; figuratively and literally. She daydreams a lot and comes up with a lot of strange ideas that just downright sound bizarre to others, should she ever speak up about them. She's very shy and especially sensitive when it comes to her strange wings. She's very fight or flight and easily startled. Yukiko remembers nothing from her past and becomes incredibly uncomfortable when people try to question her about such things. She longs for the family she no longer remembers as well as answers as to why she has wings yet no one else does. Yukiko is a very timid child who tends to avoid conflict and doesn't like loud noises.

Biography : The story of Yukiko's arrival in Magnolia is often exaggerated by many of the town folk. Many say that Yukiko fell from the heavens, landing in the centre of town unharmed. This isn't true. While Yukiko did appear out of nowhere, she did not drop from the sky. She walked into town, tired and exhausted after waking up in the nearby forest three days ago. Her wings surprised a lot of people, but most just assumed she was using Aera magic. In actuality, the wings were not there magically and this little girl did in fact have a pair of dove wings growing and functioning off of her shoulder blades. She was taken in by Master Pollux who examined her to make sure she wasn't injured. When the Master asked who she was, Yukiko realised that she didn't actually know. She had no recollection of anything that had happened before she woke up. The only thing she could remember was one sentence, which haunts her dreams every night; "Despair is coming".

Pollux is baffled by the enigma that is this young girl, but nonetheless has welcomed her into the Guild and begun teaching her to wield her magic. While she has remained hidden in the infirmary for a while, today is the day where she steps out and officially joins the guild, meeting the rest of its members.

Other : Yukiko's wings are an extension of her body and NOT Aera Magic. She always has her wings and can fly with them so long as she isn't tired. She's very frail and light, much like a bird.
