Kalimda stared at her hands a moment, because this seemed to quiten the ocean of emotions within her. "I can't offer much myself, it seems" she said looking up

"You under estimate yourselve. Others might not see your wealth, but we do. You have offered Griffin something no other have ever given him." Zack stated.

Kalinda was silent, and then nodded, "I like him. I like you. Two friends for one-I think I've gotten the better deal there" she smiled

Zack laughed. "I don't know about that. We seem to be getting alot out of the deal." I am glad you like her, Zack. No one has ever made me feel... Anything.

Kalinda smiled. "Just goes to show you everyone has different perspectives." She said, "I'm glad you think that. It was a goodnight, that I would have otherwise spent alone" that was two nights in a row either Zack or Griffin had ended up talking with her. She was on a roll for not being alone.

"Will you keep an eye on Griffin during Mimic's class today?" Zack asked. [i] I do not need a babysitter. [\i] Zack rolls his eyes. "Of course you do not need a babysitter. But we don't know what the instructor plans and I don't want you getting into trouble or hurt while I'm lock way."

Then sun rises, ushering in another day.

Around 3 in the morning, Anthony gently carries Sue into the house and, being careful not to wake her, sets her in the guest room. While he would have loved to have spent the whole night next to her, he wasn't sure how she would react to waking in his bed. So, he took the safe route and gave Sue her own bed. Anthony leaves a note letting her know that he had given her security clearance, giving her the ability to go freely around the house. Afterwards, he goes to his lab for two hours and begins to analyze the chemical composition of the venom he had collected from Ben. Next, he returns to his room to slumber until 7 AM. Once his alarm goes off Anthony quickly shuts it off and slips into the shower.

Sue was coming into consciousness. She did not remember there being well-scented pillows and sheets, a soft mattress and her surrounded by walls. She felt like she teleported into the room, much like how she used to when she slept in the living room but was brought to her room while asleep by her dad. Anthony was such a sweetheart, she thought.

She read the note from the table top, feeling an almost déjà vu sensation not dissimilar to the time she’d spent in Anthony’s house in the Hulk simulation. She got out of the bed and walked to the body mirror. She still had her clothes from last night on. Rolling up her shirt, she looked and evaluated her body. She could see just a little fat coming through, pinching her sides and her arms. She began to stretch and do some simple exercises in the room. She felt a sudden pang of dizziness, and concluded it must have been from the wine she’d drunk. It was a fading nausea though, and quickly ignored it. She wanted to make sure she sweated when she was doing her pushups. She got up to eighty, and wanted to do twenty more.

After she finished, she walked out of the room and into the main hall. In the silent house she could hear water falling; Anthony must be showering. So before then, she thought she could watch some TV in the living room. She switched it on and turned to a cartoon channel, with the audio level at 1. Her sound amplification made it sound like it was at 25.

Sue waited patiently for Anthony to finish. She didn't want to be late for school.

Anthony finishes taking his shower as he hears the TV begin to blare. He quickly shaves and gets dressed in blue jeans and a black T-shirt. He finds Sue and signs, "Good morning. I can either make you a quick breakfast, or we can eat at the Academy. It's up to you."

Before the bulk of the students started coming in Estella got up from her table and walked out. She didn't quite feel like socializing as much as she usually would. It was still early for class so she waited in a quieter hallway where she could think.

The sun was already high in the sky and her room was flooded with light when she began stirring but she was long past being woken by it now. Rolling over to look at the time she saw it was nearing midday, meaning it would be... almost seven in New York. With a sigh she got out of bed and padded into the bathroom, stretching as she walked.

A short while later she sat in her kitchen eating breakfast though her main attention was directed to the book before her. The only sound that could be heard was the turning of pages and the purring of the black cat curled on her lap, who she occasionally fed a bite of bacon to. But the peace could not last and she was forced to scoop up the cat and place her on the floor before heading upstairs to dress, bearing in mind what Mimic had said. Messy; how joyous.

"Thank you. It is nice to know Griffin has you when I can not be there for him." Zack shook his head sadly and picked at the food on their plate. He wished they had a better idea of what was going to happen today. We can handle it. Kalinda has already agreed to keep me from trouble. "We would like to spend some time with you after school. Would that be alright?"

Kalinda nodded and smiled "sure" she said, "that would be great. Don't worry about today. I think it might be fun. Otherwise, why give us warning that it will be messy and to wear clothes we don't mind being ruined?"

Jack woke up looking rather terrible. Hell he felt terrible. His hair was messed up and he looked still sick, That and he was very hungry. He looked around and grabbed some clothes. He put his shirt and jeans on when he noticed them. A pair of bumps on his arms. He knew what this meant. His father had told him what to look for. It was organic webslingers. To test it he fired a web at the wall. It flew from his hands and hit the wall. He had to show this to Katherin. Maybe not Ben since he did not have his yet. He ran out the door and swung off with his new slingers. It was not as smooth as usual. He eventually found her. He figured she would notice the lack of slingers. "Hey. Uhh sorry about last night. I think I know why I was feeling ill..." He said figuring she could figure out why. "I think I got new powers last night."

"To cut down on parents complaints when the blood wouldn't come out of a good outfit." Zack suggests with a shuttter. "I have a hard time imagioning Mimic doing anything fun.

Kalinda hadn't thought about that, "I don't think anyone gets seriously hurt here, but then
I haven't seen too much anyway. You are right, it's hard to imagine him having fun. Or at least, fun fun and not his kind of fun." She shrugged "we just have to wait and see what happens"

"I don't see them letting us get seriously hurt. Atleast not yet. But we are here to train so it is expected that we will be wounded eventually. I hope Mimic has something more fun in mind, but we have to be realistic." Zack stated. He couldn't see Mimic having his students having harmless messy fun.

Kalinda nodded "speculating about it just makes it worse" she said "it's in the afternoon, plenty of time to worry about it"

"I suppose so." Zack agreed. "It is hard to think of anything else. Why don't we talk about something else? Do you wish to practice flying today?"
