Kijani grunted, nose twitching. She inhaled sharply, and groaned, her head throbbing like gnomes were pounding it with sledgehammers. Opening her eyes, she looked around rapidly, confused and startled. Her gaze finally fixated on Anthony. "...what the hell... happened?"

Devika's eyebrows went up. She really had no comeback for that one. "Uh... yeah, that's pretty up there on the 'weird shit-o-meter."

She was over reacting but he was not going to say it out loud. "I promise I won't. You should go. I have something I need to go do in the city. " He said after she kissed him. He was going into the city and patrolling. Not killing. Just stopping crime. Getting his name out there. He swung off to his room.

John shrugs, "There's really nothing to tell. I'm good at sports and I can fight, nothing too interesting." Their pizzas arrive and John leans over, whispering in the waitress ear. As she nods and walks away, John says, "Thanks."

Anthony watches her closely, looking for any sign that she'd slip back into the past. "When I came back with the information I had found, you had fallen asleep. I tried to wake you but couldn't, so I carried you over here. I waited for over an hour for you to wake up, but grew impatient, so here we are."

Katherin headed off to the gym. She hoped Jack would continue to gain ground in regaining control of his temper. But right now she had other things she needed to focus on.

"i'm sure there's more to you then that" Kalinda said, "What did you say to the waitress?" She picked up a slice of her pizza, holding it like Griffin had taught her, cupped slightly and with both hands, taking a bite happily.

Of course Batman knew that Sue was still there, but nevertheless was shocked to hear her name yelled out loud, as if the Dark Knight was omnipotent. He was as Godly as any human could ever be, and that brought a chill to Sue.

Sue met up with Katherin after her brief meeting with the boyfriend. If she really were going to go out with Batman to find Phoebe, then perhaps this would be one of the greatest developments of her life, to the involved parties’ lives, for a very long time.

Sue walked up to Katherin, and signed: ”Where to?”

The cold hard facts that she'd read, that had impressed themselves into her memory permanently. She could read them in her mind's eye just as clearly as if she were holding them in her hands. "...that was a weak lie, even for you." She sighed. "I remember... reading your information, and then..." She frowned, as all she could come up with was copper and bleach. "It sort of gets hazy after that." Her hand went through her hair, trying to get it back into some semblance of order. "...If I lashed out or attacked you, I apologize. I really do. I'm working on my reflex, but sometimes the memories win."

John laughs, "Don't worry about it. And you're right, there is more to me than that." "I'm also great in bed," he thinks. "But you'll have to tell me exactly what you want to know," he continues.

Once Katherine and Sue arrive at the gym, Bruce says, "You were awfully close to being left behind." He leads them to the center of the gym where three large, metal circles seem to appear from nowhere. Bruce steps on one then says to the girls, "Let's go."

"Well, I knew you weren't going to answer that" Kalinda said, taking another bite, chewing thoughtfully, "People are made up of more then what they like to do. I suppose I'll start with the cliche questions. Favorites, colour, food, movie, game..."

Austin quickly snatched himself a steak once they reached the cafeteria, as well as some water. He then sat down, digging into the medium cooked steak with gusto. He always loved steak, he could eat it on a daily basis but for variety sake, he doesn't.

John takes a few bites of pizza before answering, "I my favourite colour is white, for obvious reasons. I don't really have a favourite food, I just eat whatever's available. My favourite movie?" He thinks for a few seconds before saying with a grin, "An ancient movie called the Princess Bride. Game? Probably Poker."

Katherin looked at the metal circles. She knew Batman was knew for gadgets, but she had no idea what these things were or what they were. She wanted to asked but stopped herself, she already pushing his patience. It didn't matter what they were as long as the got them to Phoebe.

"White. That's like me saying mine is black. But It isn't. Yellow is. I can't tell if you're joking or not about the Princess Bride, I mean, its a classic fairy tail, with love and adventure. And fighting...i suppose it does have everything a good movie needs. Still, that's a surprise, really" kalinda said musingly, "never played poker. but then, I've never played board games either. Basketball was good to play"

Sue, being the skeptical one and scared one, stepped on the metal circle begrudgingly. She maintained her resolve to her good friend Phoebe. She had to.

She looked over at Katherin for comfort. At least she wasn't alone, despite having Batman as an ally here.

How she could do it." And where had the lie began? Had her grandmother ever cared? Had it all been some long-term game for her? "I... I have to contact her. Face her down with the truth. See if she tries to wiggle her way out, or if she'll level with me." There had to be some explanation. "Hey, Anthony..." She was going to ask what was in it for him, what she now owed him for this veritable fount of information. But she didn't want to know just yet. One set of bad news at a time. She sighed, and switched her question. "You don't happen to have anything to eat around this place, do you?"

Connor grabbed some food as well, heading back over, and sitting down. He had grabbed food he could eat one handed, as he took out a notebook, already starting to draw up quick sketches for ideas for Austin

Anthony nods, "You'll get the chance to confrot her, I assure you. And yes, the kitchen's stocked. I'd offer to make you something, but there are certain matters I need to attend to." He leads her to the kitchen, then walks into the backyard to care for his pets.

"I remember you telling me you like basketball. Maybe one day I'll get the chance to see just how good you are." John answers.

"These are the same type of teleporters we used for Justice League missions. You'll feel a slight tingle in your gut, but it'll be over soon." Bruce explains. With one thought that he allows the Martian Manhunter to pick up, a switch is flipped and the world around the three fades, only to be replaced with the sight of lush forestry. Nearby is a small creek, and just on the other side is a small log cabin.
