Deserai smiles politely and nods acknowledging the introductions. "I'm Deserai. So what was the deal with those two? Do they just not get along?" She had curiosity in her eyes again.

"Don't know if they don't get along, i think for now it was mostly just a heat of the moment thing, but i think it may just blossom into an long confrontation between the two. only time will tell" Kit answered shrugging then motioning to the desks "well take a seat i guess while we wait for those two to finish duking it out." Kit smiled at Deserai and went over to his seat laying his head on the desk he just going to doze for a few no point in worrying himself over fighting superman anymore. He could handle Mimic, but until he was in the room with him there was naught to do but wait.

Deserai sat next to Kit getting a little uncomfortable as some people started to stare. No doubt they were realizing who her Mother is. She just pulled her legs up to her chest awkwardly. She hated being stared at. T was unnerving and weird.

Katherin wondered if Superman and Mimic would continue switching. She needed an idea to fight both of them. Fighting Superman would be similar to fighting Wolverine and Cyclops at the same time. So she had something to work with there. If Mimic was in the room she could go with the overwhelming idea she had come up with earlier. Either way she was bound to have a few bruises when the class as done. Katherin could hardly wait until the end of the day to tell her dad who she fought.

Katherin was distracted from her thoughts when a girl wondered in late. The newcomer introduced herself as Deserai. She was greeted by a boy who looked vaguely familiar to her. Katherin studied the boy more closely. There was something familiar about him. Where had she seen him before? Maybe he simply looked like his parents. If his parents were famous, like most of the students parents, that would explain why he looked familiar. She would have to give it some thought.

Connor sighed, taking out pen and a notebook, he started to write, he figured it would be good to keeo track of the other students-who they were, alias, powers parents things like that. So far, he had really only talked with Austin and Kyra. Then kijani not really anyone else. He figured one step at a time, it had been a long day, and for the first day of school, it had been busy. He had probably spoken more to people this day, then in a week. Unless you counted online gaming as talking to people.

He started with Austin. Austin, son of William Grant Nelson, seems to have increased abilities. Seems to be anice guy, alias? maybe he had missed Austins Alias. He would have to ask him. He made a note of that, he continued on.

phoebe phoebe daughter of?posion Ivy? This seems logically, given ner ability to control plants this might not be so, unaware if Dr Pamela Isley had off spring. Father? Might not be hero or villian, no clue. Seems okay.

Ryan, son of flash, alias the streak. Obvioudly power is superspeed. Seems a bit odd, but otherwise okay.

jack, son of peter park aka spiderman, alias Araneous. Appears to have the same abilties as his father.

ben, another son of spiderman, alias thanatos. Also appears to have spider abilites

anthony, son of lex Luther, alias Domitor, seems bad, too soon to tell, but I don't like him

kijani, parents unknown, alias unknown, has control of paper, seems okay, but too soon to tell

Connor finished there for now, knowing he still had other students to documentate, but felt like it was rude to be seemingly ignoring the classroom. He looked up and about. He felt like he should try tslking, but he was never very good at starting conversations

Austin growled slightly at the sound wave, hands over his ears. Sometime it sucked having superhuman hearing. Even if it wasn't as storms as Sue's, it still hurt. He watched Anthony now, eyes narrowed. He considered Conner to be a friend, as such he was ready to protect his friend if the fight escalated. He growled at Anthony slightly, nearly daring him to try again.

Connor looked over at Austin when he growled, seeing he looking at Anthony, and with a shock realised he was doing so for Connors own benefit. No one had ever done something like that before for him. "Do I have to say down boy?" Connor said to Austin, smiling slightly, "thank you" he said softly

Mimic approached Kent and says, "Alright buddy, I'm back. Feel free to stick around if you want, just don't interrupt the fights please." He points to Ben and says, "Come on then, let's go."

Ben follows Mimic into the training room and waits for the teacher to speak.

Jack looked over at Ben. "Good luck. " He called over as he went in. He most likely would have better luck than Jack had. Not like it mattered. He had done well. He was his own person at the end of the day that's all that mattered.

The wound that Mimic sustained made him wince every now and then, but was negligible. He entered the room backwards, watching as Ben entered just afterwards. His wings flapped, flexing almost to ready them up, his feet clenching, gripping themselves to relax his toes.

“Come on then, kid, have at it,” Rankin growled deep in his throat, he arched forwards, knees bent, flapped his wings to purposely create a gush of wind, in the hopes of throw the boy off his game.

“Another one of you spider folk,” he grunted as he massaged his eyes, a painful, effective, though pathetic, move.

The room was tall, and having assumed Ben’s powers, Mimic jumped, placing his feet on the ceiling. He now stood upside-down. He realized that Ben hadn’t developed his ability of organic web-spitting. ”This ought to be simple.” he thought.

He lunged himself towards Ben, his wings enveloped his body, his strong feet propelling himself at high speeds. “C’mere!” he yelled.

Ben waits until the last second, then simply lets go of the wall, quickly falling to the floor. While it wasn't an attack, per say, he hoped that Minic would ram into the wall.

Mimic was quick to react, and his wings shot open which brought him to a sudden halt. Freakishly, Mimic was still upside-down as he shot his laser vision in bursts at Ben, anticipating his evasive maneuvers. He thought back to his encounters with Spiderman, the agile man with incredible response times, and how he had to handle him.

In fact, this whole fight could be over within a matter of seconds, but that was not the point of this session; it was to assess what the student could or could not do. A judgment based upon ability and capability, brawn and brain. So he fired shots of concussive laser at the boy, though in the slightest bit of malevolence hoping that he’d get hit.

(I think you guys misunderstand the motives behind Mimic's methods. He uses insults, fear, and intimidation because in comics, most of the time, people are at the strongest in times of stress.)

Ben easily ducks, spins, and flips, dodging all of the laser blasts. After one dodge, he ends up with his back turned to Mimic. He laughs as he turns around, "Dude, your aim sucks." As he utters the last syllable, however, he gets hit straight in the forehead by a blast he hadn't been prepared for. Ben falls to the ground, dazed and confused.

Mimic grunts, "Get up, Parker. You're agile just like your father, but you also like witty banter, just like your father. If you had concentrated, you could have dodged all of those. Tell the next person that they can choose between me and Clark."
