Kalinda shrughed "that is the point. are powers make us....they shape how we can be. But why are you doing the running, the weights? Sure, the running bs a good cardio, and the weights help, but there's other things you can do, for high, fast results? You need to mix it up. Go hard. Do the things that make your muscles scream. Squats,'push ups, chin ups, sit ups. There's a reason they are still around, even with the weight machines and stuff" She shrugged, and jumped onto a treadmill, doing a slow warm up. She just did maintance work, not particularly caring about her self, but knowing it was good for her powers. "You need to mix it up in anycase. Your body gets use to the same movements over and over again and you get no results after a while. Or so my dance teacher always told me" again, a shrug. Despite the fact that she was wearing clothes that covered most of her body, she didn't appear to be having any difficulty running "frankly, you have an advantage over everyone. People expect what they see. They will just assume that you aren't the best in a fight and consider it won, even if they can resist your power. You can use that. You don't need to be completely fit to know how to punch someone in the nose"Devika got onto the treadmill beside her, starting her cooldown, which was basically a slow walk meant to calm her body. "Did you listen to anything that I said? I don't want fast results. I don't want to be muscular. Also, I've been doing this for a month and I've been going longer and harder every time. Maybe screaming muscles work for people who weigh a buck-five soaking wet, but unfortunately, I'm someone who isn't naturally inclined to physical fitness. I have to work, and I've tried before, doing... whatever the hell you said. It failed hard, because I went from zero to sixty and hurt myself, and I didn't try again until just now." She mixed deep breaths into her walk, trying to calm the annoyance she was feeling. "Besides, again-- I'm not doing this for power, and I'm not doing this to fight. I'm doing this because it will make me feel like a better me, and I'm tired of having a spare tire like a middle aged man. I don't care if I sit behind a desk for work, I'm gonna feel good sitting at that desk." She shrugged, rolling her shoulders in a pleasing way. "If I never have to throw a punch in my life, that's all the better."
