As I said, experimental mode is very risky, so a calculative man such as Alec will use it sparingly. Rational mode seems nothing out of ordinary. I don't even think it counts as a superpower. Anyone with a long attention span can pull that off.

Edit: What should I do now? Can I post or should I wait for you guys to get done with what you're up to?

Description:
He is a private man who only discusses trivial things if the conversation turns personal. He occasionally mentions his children and grand children, only giving first names. He is a time manipulating Hero who uses his powers to maintain some kind of balance in the world, mostly of the benevolent kind. He takes down Third World regimes, tin pot dictators and that sort of thing, and rescues Metas from problems they can't deal with.
He has saved many of them from Communist China, the former Soviet Union and other areas around the world.


Powers:
He has time manipulation. Although he claims to be more than 160 years old, he only appears to be 75 years of old in appearance, and is as spry and healthy as people in the prime of their life are. He can open portals to travel though space by time space manipulation, slow enemies and the area around him through time manipulation, temporarily age opponents by decades of time in only a few seconds, rust metals, heal wounds of himself or others, or even speed up fertility cycles.
He has post cognition when touching objects (Which means he can see into the past by touching objects), precognition (This only extends into the future by seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks or maybe months. He's only ever managed to make it to a handful of years into the future once, and that was the defining moment of his life as a Meta). In addition he is supernaturally intelligent, possibly having more than four hundred IQ points.

To some extent he can even cause Seasonal changes, such as winter and storms by time space manipulation, but he rarely uses such powers, and can only do such things a few times a day at most. He has even mastered his powers enough as to create a house sized storage space in an alternate dimension. He can retreat into it for emergencies. Sort of like an invisible TARDIS. It should be noted that Old Man occasionally has blank spots in the Time Space Continuim that make it difficult or even impracticle to try time travel into the future, and time travel into the past for the express purpose of changing it is restricted, limited and treated like a very precious resource rather than just a repeatable opportunity.

Old Man has the power to create confusing circumstances for his enemies, making it appear as if he is shrugging off impossible wounds and surviving impossible things when they aren't even happening in his time line. He can only do such things on a limited basis, but they renew every 24 hour period. He can technically earn more benefits and advantages through time space manipulation but the key word is earn. If he fails, he is simply sent back to the present time line and must wait for a 24 hour period before attempting again. ((Not to mention, he can't just cheap skate his way through challenges. Most of the time he must deal with his defeat with challenges he fails to pass, but he can still only attempt to learn a sort of Time Space manipulation "spell" for lack of a better word, once every twenty four hours, and he cannot circumvent that restriction.

Skills:
He is an apt hand to hand expert, a sniper and gunslinger, as well as a physicist, master of medicine (surgery included), and chemist.

Born in the early 1800's. He discovered a Time Machine in a subterran place under his Manor in the English countryside and was irrevocably changed into a Meta. In fact, he says he was supposed to be Meta to begin with. He can only speculate why he was a Mundane before discovering the machine in the first place. Eventually his time machine, which was probably another person's property, had been in use enough for "Old Man", to develop supernatural powers over time space manipulation that are entirely his own . He is now more than Human, and lives in more than one temporal state of being at once.

It's impossible for anyone to tell if this has been more good than bad, and when asked if his powers of space and time are more of a gift than a curse, he is nearly always incomprehensible in whatever answer he responds with.

I'm sorry but you're stretching Old Man to a point beyond SS rank. Time Space is the very fabric of our universe and for someone to freely control it... it really would not be good. For him to have the ability to open portals that can, theoretically, take him to other galaxies makes other people with some sort of teleporting power, completely irrelevant. And then y'know, he's also an expert in combat?

In conclusion, we'd have to make a rank two ranks above SS for your character to inhabit. Please remake him from the ground up.

Hmm I wouldn't say beyond S rank. . . but I'll just make someone else up. Old Man is limited in everything he can do. He's impressive in that he can seemingly rewrite reality, but he's really doing it and he can only do things on a limited number of times a day, like a Wizard from Dungeons and Dragons.

Description: Pam is a tall woman, standing at 6"3. She has a medium build, and is generally athletic looking. She has red hair she often ties back in a bun. She doesn't have much of a costume really. She'll wear a masked visor to protect her face and shield her identity, and a military jumpsuit she owned from her time in service. Obviously she stripped the rank and anything else that would identify her. She does still wear her dog tags, but in a concealed fashion. She wears a helmet, elbow and knee pads, as well as protected boots and gloves.

Her regular attire is pretty casual. Jeans, sweat shirt, maybe a ball cap if she's feeling adventurous.

Powers: Pam's powers involve centrifugal force, basically spinning. She can cause any object to spin at incredible speeds, including her own body. She could spin the tires on a bicycle to give her a very quick speed boost, even spin the air making contact with her body to whip up small scale tornadoes. This makes "The Twist" capable of making regular household items highly lethal weapons. Imagine the damage a pencil can do to a person if it is spinning at hundreds of miles per hour.

These powers can extend to Pam's own body. One of her signature techniques is performing aerial somersaults and high speed cartwheels, since her ability gives complete control over her positioning. The Twist is known for just about always landing on her feet. These powers make her capable of dealing some hefty blows assuming she has suitable room to wind up. Her abilities also make it so that Pam is incapable of becoming dizzy, and give her a spacial awareness that remains even if her body is spinning at ridiculous speeds.

These powers do come with limitations. While the internal workings of her body (her organs) have a natural resistance to the g-force she can create, what they aren't protected against is high speed impact. Friction is also an extremely dangerous force, capable of skinning her like a rabbit easily. To use her powers to their full potential she is seriously risking her own health and well being, not to mention the property damage that can be caused by the raw destructive force of her abilities. Also, due to the mechanics of torque the larger the object is the slower it takes to build up speed. Cars can be toppled, but things heavier then that are mostly out of her ability. Notable exceptions are things designed to spin, like wind turbines or helicopter blades.

Skills: Rollar blading, Kick Boxing, Wielding military weaponry, Basic first aid.
She is also a talented breakdancer and parkour artist, but that is more so due to her powers then any particular talents she had before.

Equipment: Military grade roller-skates. It might sound silly, but Pam has roller blades designed to be able to take the strain her power has on wheels. Most wheeled vehicles she has will fall apart after a single use, but these babies are built to last. The wheels can be removed and stored and leaves behind an extremely tough pair of boots that offer a firm grip on the ground. Her combat style usually involves more kicks then punches, so these boots are potent weapons that protect her feet against all but the most ridiculous speeds.

Protective gloves. These resemble her boots in that they are protected against friction. The knuckles have cushions iron bars, making her punches rather formidable in and of themselves.

(Optional) Brief History: Pam is a native to Austria who worked for most of her life in the military. She has seen some horrible things happen, but on the same note she has seen some incredible feats of human bravery and this background has given her an overall positive impression of humanity. Pam's last mission was a peacekeeping one, in an American neighborhood with a large population of gifted. It was on this mission that she had discovered she was a gifted as well, but it didn't sit well with her commanding officers. She was labeled as a defector. She would have been put down to execution... if they were able to catch her.

Currently she is stranded in America away from her native country. She doesn't have a citizenship, but as a gifted she isn't really allowed anyways.

Description:
A family man. He lost his father to an abusive Government "Hero", his pregnant wife to the assassination orders of an evil Corporate CEO, and his three fifteen year old children to vigilantes who were busy having a shoot out with criminal and "Hero" Metas. As a result, he has grown bitter against both the people in charge which he ominiously calls "The Government", and Corporate thugs, who he calls the "Green Jackboots". He has his brothers, and sisters to look after. His brother, John, is in danger from the Mafia back east over in New England. His sister, Martha, is in trouble with a gang of hitmen in Phoenix, Arizona.

Also, because of complications, every family member in his extended family has a death order on them, so he is really pissed off if you do anything wrong against his family. He has managed to assassinate the man who had his family targeted for assassination, and eliminated an entire squad of Government Sanctioned "Heroes" to their deaths in a fierce battle in Time's Square. He is a wanted man by both Law and Lawless.

Powers:
He is incredibly intelligent, super human intelligence is very strong in his brain matter. In addition, he is a Rank B in his physical capabilities, all of them. So he has armor all over his body from a suit he invented. This exoskeleton automatically injects medicine, from antidotes, to bio-chemical healing agents that can quickly restore his body even if all major organs have been shut down, and the brain had been shut off to the point of clinical death. His suit automatically revives him during Code Blue emergencies, and is capable of short range teleportation. The suit is capable of moving at Mach 2.5 safely with him inside, with functional short range and long range sensors, which double as sniper scope. His exo-skeleton can emit hyper sonic rounds of ammo with mono-molecular sharpness, at a range of 1 mile, and he can utilize weapons from his suit that can fire energy rounds that can encompass an area of 300 feet, capable of exerting 25 whole decatons of force. He even has the ability to equip a sharp thin, sword like blade from a concealed compartment in his exo-skeleton for melee combat.

He returned home from work on one evening to find that his father, George, and his wife, Martha, had been brutally massacred with his unborn son, David, with a clear note from Corporate Executive Officer, Bill Canner's termination orders marked them for death as a warning and message to Kent not to mess with him, since Kent had arrested Bill Canner's son, Travis, for beating a hooker. Kent didn't have time to mourn before receiving a phone call giving him condolences for the death of his three children on the answering machine. . . and quit his job so he could go after the "Son of a bitch who killed them!" Meaning the CEO.

The Metas and Vigilantes who killed his son and daughters in the crossfire already had wiped each other out by then. Finally Sheriff had finished constructing his Meta-Sheriff Combat Exo Skeleton, or the M.S.C.E.S, busted through CEO Bill Canner's entire security network, and splattered him to a red soaking mass of broken flesh and bones before tossing him out the twentieth floor from the Sky Scraper, ending his life. There's only one problem about calling Kent D. Phillips a vigilante, he doesn't give a damn.

Description: Out of costume, he wears a standard lab coat around with him everywhere instead of that jacket. He has it buttoned up fully and doesn’t ever seem to take it off. In costume, he wears that jacket with the left sleeve taken off and a single fingerless glove on his left hand. On a side note, he keeps extra fingerless left hand gloves in his pocket because they are prone to getting ripped.

Powers: Keith’s actual power is that he is able to program everything that is programmable as if it was a natural thing to him. His power makes programming second nature, and can also be extended to hacking. Normally that would put him at about D rank, but then there’s the robot arm.

One day (which will be explained in history), Keith got a robot arm. A bunch of stuff happened (which will be explained in history) and now he can use it as an extremely potent weapon. The arm is in fact a symbiotic life form which latched onto Keith because of his actual power.

The arm seems to run on a mysterious kind of energy which cannot be separated from the arm and can only be used by the arm itself. The energy can do all manner of things, only the minority of which were thought up by Keith as he programmed the arm.

The arm can be embedded with programs but Keith can only change three of them as the others have been locked down somehow.

He has currently loaded:

Laser.exe – The first successful program he loaded, Laser.exe shoots a constant laser from a selected fingertip. It can through even steel without much difficulty. The intensity of the laser can be adjusted to a point where it simply raises temperature. The laser is a very light blue in colour.

Super Blade Punch – The arm uses its energy to create a triangular blade like projection onto the fist. It can slice through things faster than the laser but cannot be adjusted and it’s only a melee weapon. Looks something like this: but the colour is the same as the laser. The super blade punch comes out from the top of his fist and rips up his fingerless glove.

GTFO protocol – The arm uses its energy to create a powerful hook-shot for Keith to utilize. The hook-shot can pull up to a ton of weight either backwards or forwards. The line extends up to 50 meters and is not affected by gravity. The hook-shot is also the same colour as the other programs and comes from the palm of his hand, which rips up the fingerless glove.

The arm also passively increases his speed and reflexes, can play video and music files and also acts as a kind of computer directly linked to his mind. With it, it’s as if his mind is a computer and the arm is a direct link to other devices. He can utilize this to code at an unparalleled rate as the speed is as fast as he can think.

Skills: Science, physics and genetics specifically, engineering, some martial arts

Rank: A because of potential (explained in history) in robot arm but actual ability is closer to C

A bunch of stuff happened (which will be explained in history) and now he can use it as an extremely potent weapon. The arm is in fact a symbiotic life form which latched onto Keith because of his actual power.The arm seems to run on a mysterious kind of energy which cannot be separated from the arm and can only be used by the arm itself. The energy can do all manner of things, only the minority of which were thought up by Keith as he programmed the arm.The arm can be embedded with programs but Keith can only change three of them as the others have been locked down somehow.He has currently loaded:Laser.exe – The first successful program he loaded, Laser.exe shoots a constant laser from a selected fingertip. It can through even steel without much difficulty. The intensity of the laser can be adjusted to a point where it simply raises temperature. The laser is a very light blue in colour.Super Blade Punch – The arm uses its energy to create a triangular blade like projection onto the fist. It can slice through things faster than the laser but cannot be adjusted and it’s only a melee weapon. Looks something like this: but the colour is the same as the laser. The super blade punch comes out from the top of his fist and rips up his fingerless glove.GTFO protocol – The arm uses its energy to create a powerful hook-shot for Keith to utilize. The hook-shot can pull up to a ton of weight either backwards or forwards. The line extends up to 50 meters and is not affected by gravity. The hook-shot is also the same colour as the other programs and comes from the palm of his hand, which rips up the fingerless glove.The arm also passively increases his speed and reflexes, can play video and music files and also acts as a kind of computer directly linked to his mind. With it, it’s as if his mind is a computer and the arm is a direct link to other devices. He can utilize this to code at an unparalleled rate as the speed is as fast as he can think. I hate to be a hater but your character might run into some problems when he's going against mine... she's kinda a technopath. Ruby. So, due to the fact that he has cool lasers and shit, can we say that she's the better programmer/hacker? Also, if they aren't arch-nemesis then they have to be shipped intensely. No buts.

Plus, Aperture Labs are a big corporation in this, Alto would fit in well there!

Technically the arm is a programmable living organism but she definitely is better at hacking and programming

Brief History:Agent Reyes came from a family in the Rampart area of LA. Her family was involved in gangs as far back as she knew. Her brother was involved in gangs and he died in a drive by. This convince Reyes to leave Rampart. However her first hand knowledge of the LA gang scene made her a top candidate for the FBI and they took her from the LAPD academy and took her to Quantico, Virginia and she trained and eventually became an agent. During her early Career she handled gang and Mexican cartel information. In 2010 following Maybark, Her major cases involved Los Zetas, Sinola Cartel, and the Tijuana Cartel. She also has done a case or two against MS-13 and the Bloods. Then she was transferred to the powered individual desk and was sent to the special facility at Fort Irwin (a secret facility favored by American intelligence to handle powered individuals. There she saw several agents from another agency beating the shit outta a kid. She intervened and the kid imprinted on her. Reyes was not pleased that this Wessex kid for some reason had Stockholm syndrome on her. (or as she says some other messed up mental issue) her superiors decided to use this as an option to get a look inside various groups that are not directly affiliated with the government. Her FBI/US Government bosses have an additional mission on for the Wessex assignment but it is not of any hero's concern.
She is now Wessex's handler and makes the child write reports on what he does once a week and debriefs him often.

Description: Les is a large man, over six feet tall, with a well built "gym body," complete with spray-on tan. Though numerous scars cover his body, he has an aversion against tattoos, but does have his ears pierced. His face, youthful with boyish good looks and bright green eyes (though his nose is noticeably misshapen from having been broken several times), rather contrasts against his otherwise intimidating appearance. His hair is a long, black, shaggy mess, and while he tries to keep it pulled back with headbands and bobby pins, it's thick and heavy enough to end up hanging in his face regardless.

Les dresses the basically the same in and out of "costume," as he wears his street clothes at basically all times. Provocative, hyper-masculine clothes that show off his fit body comprise nearly all of his outfits, accompanied by accessories that are at least thirty years out of date. Bright, garish colors complete his usual ensemble, making him resemble a neon nightmare. Whenever he goes out "crime-fighting," Les adorns a bulletproof vest under a blood-stained, hot pink biker vest, and a well-worn, sky blue motorcycle helmet with a polarized visor, as well as matching gloves.

Powers: Lesley's power is his manipulation of "neon," though in reality this is closer to plasma manipulation. He can generate and shape the ionized matter, which can manifest in a variety of colors, and form it into temporary constructs. While not especially solid, the neon is superheated, with enough heat to burn or ignite most substances on contact, and melt through tougher ones with sustained pressure. The neon's brightness can be used to dazzle Lesley's enemies, and can also be used to "energize" Lesley's strength or speed, turning him into a glowing blur of burning power. The lighter-than-air properties of his neon can also be used to his advantage, letting Les "run on air" for short periods of time.

Skills: Though not formally trained, Les is an accomplished hand-to-hand fighter and street brawler. He's an expert in unorthodox and improvised combat, and can turn breaking and entering into an art. He knows his flaws, particularly his lack of durability, and knows how to make up for them with speed and skill. While he can pick up basically anything and make it into a weapon, he has a particular talent for knives, both up close and thrown. He's also a fairly skilled motorcycle rider, and can maintain and upgrade his bike quite well.

Equipment: Les owns a neon green custom motorcycle, the build of which most aptly described as a "crotch rocket." His typically equipment consists of a kevlar vest, a motorcycle helmet, studded riding gloves, and on occasion a meat cleaver or a set of throwing knives.
