Out of curiosity, would the very highest point at the college be safe to land on? I have only a vague idea of what the college looks like.

Maybe the college has a Signal Tower. Think of that one scene from lord of the rings when "Gondor calls for Aid". It's fairly open and flat, but it's also very high up.

That's a good idea actually. I was thinking something more akin to a bell tower though, like this.



Not necessarily safe to land on, but possible to land in.

Eh, by that picture, the dome would be too separated from his room to carry the footsteps. It would be fine.

I feel like this crazy bullshit world was created by the gods solely to torment Ssarak with its insanity, given he's the 'only sane man' here.

EDIT: Seriously though, it feels like literally everyone wants to hang out with Ssarak.

Notice its friendly disposition and overall welcoming posture. The Ssarak evolved as a relatively social creature, and is difficult to upset. We should all live by its example.

It's a little hard to interact with Grey when he's following Lucilia around like a puppy. :p As for Alaira, she got to hang around Ssarak, Mei, Mar, Althalus, Lyn, and a few others so far. Many more then Mar has total to be honest. XD
