The issue with that line of thinking, Ryo, is that Alaira doesn't feel particularly vengeful towards Lucilia. To her, 'could have died' doesn't matter to her at all. Since Lyn is safe, she doesn't give a shit. The most she'll do is yell at her a bit. Hell, if she went with someone more violent like, say, Tyrael, Alaira would probably protect her. A lot of this also has something to do with the fact that Lyn likes her. So I'm afraid she wouldn't help.

I think that situation was more cause and effect really, one move ended up trigger a series of events. Namely Lyn wasn't originally suppose to awake until after the event but I didn't want the group to lose the cart and fail the mission. >_>

They should just get Lidda or another vitamancer to grow him a new hand. From all I know of vitamancy, it should be well-within their capabilities. Might take time and effort, but I assume the more experienced vitamancers in the college deal with the more major wounds.
