You know what character I would really like to see under the effects of Ssarak's breath? Mar.
BAD. IDEA.

It does have a certain calming effect. I think it would be hilarious. Same with Alaira.

It could be interesting if that happened, at the least. Does Alaira know something is wrong with her when it comes to psychomancy?

A searing pain in her head, coupled with a high pitched, continuous screech.EDIT: Ah. Kind of? She knows that something is screwing with her head, but she assumes it's like that for everyone. In reality, she is severely sensitive to it.

The situation I'm imagining is Alaira picking a fight with someone, as she is wont to do, and Ssarak trying to diffuse the situation with drug-breath. If both parties were aggressors, he would try to get both of them, and it would have two entirely different effects. Of course, if the other person were Aruna, he probably wouldn't, as he doesn't want to make her angry again.

Alaira would probably lose her mind and attempt to destroy the source. Given the effect it has, she has a hard time discriminating. Essentially, if Ssarak would do that Alaira would try to mulch nearby defenseless students in a misguided attempt to make the sound stop.

I can see this as being an issue for all the novice psychomancers who are having problems with accidental mind reading.Which reminds me, I need to have Ssarak accidentally mind read people from time to time.
