And I'm a huge Jeremy Irons nerd, so the need for me to bring up that half his 'Be Prepared' song wasn't sung by him because he lost his voice is there... Here's something you can do... try to pinpoint the EXACT spot where Jeremy Irons was replaced by another. (I know, I just wanna know if anyone is as pathetic as me to realize it).

I'm sorry I made a post with Prospero doing magic on earth, I've since deleted it. I mentioned it in my character sheet and no one said anything, so I thought it was ok, but I missed reading the part of the setting description about no magic on earth. I might have to make a new character, as Prospero would be dead or at least completely isolated without magic. Don't worry, I've got several ideas.

Augh...having a hard time deciding on what sort of career Brian would have gone for. Aurora is such a flat character in Sleeping Beauty, I have half a mind to just making the guy an EMT in training.

Well, Aurora wasn't the main character of the story nor movie... Prince Phillip was if we are being honest. Yes, she is what brings a beginning to the story and she is the 'prize' at the end but she's just there to be saved. Not to mention, women weren't expected to do much when the movie was made in 1959, less so when the Brothers Grimm adapted it from Charles Perrault La belle au bois dormant.... But with her being a princess, she has an uncanny ability with animals... maybe something with that?

Because they want to be a guy but are intrigued by Aurora... I don't see the issue in the gender bending to be honest. ----EDIT---- Not to mention we already have a lot of females.

I wouldn't do that. In case someone comes along and wants to play Aurora or Prince Phillip and you've taken them both in one character.

I understand we have a lot of female characters and could use more males (why not just chose a male character then?), but by changing a (very vital) part about what makes that character, that character, I feel that it somehow disrespects the very few rules given to us by our GM.

I've been trying to find male character, there aren't many inf fairy tales... I think the boy from the devil's three hairs would be fun, but I'm not sure how to develop it.

But it's taking small creative liberties! That's like when the real series of OUAT made Mulan lesbian! It didn't take away from the character...but mostly to the point, Sleeping Beauty with the typical parts taken (la raep, la cannibalism, la ___) out here or there is boring. Besides I want to play a character who can save themselves...kinda. Also, there are actually more male characters in the total character count... > I wouldn't do that. In case someone comes along and wants to play Aurora or Prince Phillip and you've taken them both in one character. And, well...true. Still, you could always count that as two characters on my part.
