The core difference between guild PMs and guild threads is that PMs have severely restricted access. Aside from that, they're essentially based on the same template.
There's one thing we've been wondering about... Would it be an easy change to make on the signature system so that the cutoff function (which is nice) stops cutting off if someone opens a hider in a signature? Or would that require a lot of altered code?
Use our signature as an example. With the hider closed, it is fairly short. But with the hider opened, it is a few lines above the limit. Right now, that essentially eliminates the value of using hiders in your signature, as you can't go above the "limit" with them even when someone actively wants to see more.
Just a quick question - Would you be able, without too much effort, add in some formatting like italics, bold and underline in the chat? I do not have a clue about coding but if you could, that would be nifty.
Looks like my caching system hit a rare race-condition where the list of forum categories returned "null" instead of a list. The rest of the code expects a list, so some pages of the forum (namely the homepage) would throw an error.
It should be resolved for now.
I will be making some time soon to catch up in my various guild duties. bbl
Looks like the chat isn't behaving itself right now... oh and an older issue that should be easily fixed: Friends list "view all" function only shows 10 users, not all as it should.
Just wondering with chat, cause it was only just mentioned in topic above, does banned users have to be completely visible. Not that I care who's banned but when I jump into chat I might see 5 names before I realise that 2 are banned uses. Could they be in a hider perhaps so if you want to know who's banned you can check, but other than that it's just something that is less visible.
