Apokalipse AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

Ragna always hated the beginning of the year assembly, it was boring and dull and she always knew what her father was going to say before it. It was because the Huldrekarl often practiced his speech with her as his audience. Ragna sighed, leaning back in the bleachers and flicking a blonde bang from her face. At that moment, her father walked onto stage – okay, maybe that was a bad term to describe it; he more like sulked his way onto the stage. He picked up the microphone and cleared his throat. “Welcome, students, to another year at Agartha Academy. It is great to once again reside over you precious, precious students.” Despite how genuine he wanted it to seem, Principal Eld couldn’t help the sarcasm drip off his words. “For those who are a first year here, I am Principal Eld and I expect nothing less than perfection from the lot of you and –.” He went to say more, but a startling shriek interrupted him. The walls shook and the smell of blood permeated the air, strong and overwhelming. Ragna felt the need to throw up and a girl beside her did upchuck her lunch. But it was the dread that was the worst. Fear gripped at Ragna’s heart and her skin became cold, her arms and legs trembled. She couldn’t stop it. Ragna has only read about this particular scream in books, this haunting scream that was horrid for anyone to hear. The shriek of a Banshee. Someone in this room was going to die.

Shhhhiiii- The young pixie stared blankly at the principal, her heart fluttering and her palms breaking out into a sweat. The scream, the earth shattering scream. Her world turned a sort of grey scale tone as the noises around her began to get softer, as if she was going underwater. She hadn't signed up for this. Where were her brothers? What was going on? Just moments ago she'd said goodbye to them as they walked off with their friends. The damn bastards, leaving her alone. And this was what it came to! She fought the urge to pull out her deck of cards, knowing full well it probably wouldn't do any good at the point. The odds of her getting anything useful were low. For now, she simply sat, trembling in fear, wondering what would happen next.

He blinked for a moment, trying to comprehend what had just happened. He felt the people around him, saw them through the vibrations in the floor. They appeared as outlines in his mind, some of them hunched over, some of the probably crying, others revisiting their lunch from that afternoon. Azax, himself, had to swallow his spit in order to keep himself in check. His heart was pounding and his skin raised up on end, elvish ear picking up ever nuance of the banshee's cry. It had almost deafened him for a while, the low murmur of the students around him which in all likeliness were probably more along the lines of screams of terror, only adding to the Banshee's wild screech. Azax, shifted in his seat slightly, trying his best to see through the other vibrations and pick up on the thing that had created the noise, but he was having a very hard time of it. It was hard enough trying to focus on the people around him with the damage the scream had done to his ears. He had to rely on his feet to feel the vibrations, his ears were of almost no help.

David sighed. Everybody was either crying, or vomiting, or something else after the banshee's scream. David had just messed up his drawing. He was now fiddling with a rosary his mother had given him. "Gloria Patri et filio et spiritui sancto." He muttered under his breath. Maybe God would help him. He then muttered a Hail Mary, and a Lord's Prayer. He focused and turned on everyone's cellphones, causing even more of a cacophony than before. David chewed on his pencil. Maybe he could figure out what made that sound by listening to all the technology. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath. He took the tarot cards out of his pack, and began shuffling them. The top card was the Death. David knew someone would die, and that's when the girl in front of him started to cry. "it's ok! It will all be ok!" He patted the girl on the back. She looked back at him. "Really?" "yes. it will be ok." David hugged the girl, and stroked her red hair. "It's ok. he slowly moved his free hand to the Death card in an effort to hide it. The girl sobbed into David's shoulder. "I want to go home!" she cried. "Please let me go home." "be quiet now. It's ok." David put the Death card back into the deck. "It will all be ok."

Eltari was quietly listening to the President; it was easy to tell that the Principal’s words were more fake than the meat that the judicator had served him. The shriek took Eltari back, he’d been at the academy for some time, but he’d never heard a scream like that, learning about the other species was something he did in his spare time so he knew what it meant. You do understand that there is no chance of saving that person now, don’t you? Once a banshee screams that the chances of survival are very small. Lui said in his head. The girl behind him burst out into tears, at least there was someone there to comfort her “Now it’s a waiting game I suppose.” he muttered to himself, Well on the upside at least it wasn’t you. Give the boy a rest Lui, we will return when you need us and his head went silent again. He sat there waiting for what was to happen next.

The school erupted into a chorus of screams and crying, the sounds escalating quickly. Principal Eld placed the microphone down and began to holler until it was so quiet, a pen could be heard falling to the ground. "Okay, everyone needs to calm down!" Principal Eld shouted, twittering his hands in the air. "Okay, first things first, can the Banshee who screamed please come up here?" A few seconds passed and nothing happened until a scramble erupted in the corner of the room and multiple students ushered forth a small, lithe girl with pure white hair and pink eyes. Principal Eld ushered her onto the stage, grabbing her hand gently despite his rough personality. "Don't be scared, you did nothing wrong. Now can you please tell us who you screamed for." Principal Eld said, rubbing her shoulders. "I-I don't know. I just h-had to scream." She whimpered wiping away a tear. Ragna felt bad for the girl, but internally was screaming at the pathetic thing for not knowing who she screamed for. Well, it was to be expected. She was a novice Banshee after all, could only be eighty or ninety years old. It takes at least three hundred years to be able to tell who is going to die.
