Kuhaku Shiro - Roaming the halls, towards the Dormitories
Freshly showered and casually dressed, Shiro walked as he dug a fluffy white towel that was just as white as his hair into his feline ears. One thing that irritated him to no end was attempting to dry out the insides of his ears after bathing. Sure, the rest of his body was squeaky clean and dry, comfortably clothed and all. But no, he always had to fight to get the last bits of moisture out of the confines of his ears. Absolutely annoying. One eye shut tight as he struggled with the towel in each alternating ear, Shiro was dressed simply today. He decided to go out today in a short-sleeved black t-shirt, blue jeans with accompanying belt, and black-and-white sneakers. Not forgetting to include the white bandages that completely covered his arms from the elbows down, of course. Exasperated, Shiro gave up at his attempt to dry out his ears. As he muttered to himself and wrapped his filthy workout attire in the towel, he rounded the corner leading to the team's dormitory only to halt in his tracks. Further down the way, a small trio of students were standing around chatting. Though nothing out of the ordinary as far as general school life was concerned, it was the choice of attire or
lack of attire of one of the three that raised a cause for concern. He vaguely recognized the gentleman as another fellow student that attended Practice class with him, but he couldn't remember the guy's name. To add to the oddity of it all, Sapphire was speaking to him about...something. Again, nothing odd there, but seeing his team leader in regular clothing was a little odd. Not that it mattered to him, he hardly saw or spoke to her anyways. There was a third, rather large gentleman conversing with the other two that completed the trio. Shiro tilted his head, his curiosity drawing out this odd slanted habit of his. Scoot, who sat on his shoulders tilted his head with him. Playfully mimicking his 'chauffeur' for no reason other than that.
Shiro recognized the larger gentleman to be Abel. He thought to run up and perhaps say 'Hi' or something to that nature, but ultimately decided against it.
Shaking his head, Shiro made the semi-rare decision to keep to himself and just mind his own business. He had other things to do today and having his mood dampened by Sapphire wasn't on the agenda. Turning away, Shiro opened the door to his room and entered, shutting the door behind him. After tossing his dirty laundry into its appropriate receptacle, Shiro was back out minutes later. With his back turned to the half-naked towel boy, meathead-boy, and...Ms. Rode, Shiro stuffed his bandaged hands into his jean pockets and turned to Scoot with a smile.
"So, Scoot. What do you feel like doing today? You want to go into town with me?" The ferret looked up at Shiro excitedly and telepathically exclaimed
"Fun!" Grinning, Shiro patted Scoot's head and briskly made his way towards the Airship Docks to catch a ride into the city. He didn't have much planned in all actuality. It never hurt to just go out and do nothing. To just chill and have time to yourself. If all went well today would fly by and classes would start the following day. Peaceful. That was the idea. Honestly, there was no real 'plan' to begin with.
It didn't hit Shiro until just this moment, but the other teams did all return from their missions. He had heard through the grapevine that other teams had been formed and reformed with new replacement students. Though, they weren't what was on Shiro's mind. He wondered how Ms. Sabella's first mission had gone and if she was doing alright. Blinking, he also recalled his terrible first impression on the new team formed from Haven transfer students. He made a mental note to apologize for his disruptive behavior and make some second attempt at restoring his bad image, if he ran into any of them that was.
