That last one was kind of sad. Though the team argument right in the middle was amusing the fact that not one of the other team could dodge a hammer blow was kind of sad.

I found the team argument to be stupid unamusing. Jaune should have ironed out whatever team move he had planned with his teammates before the fight.

The fights definitely could have been better. I'm still not sure if this show is trying to be serious or not. But I'm enjoying the comedy bits a lot. The Vytal festival is not living up to the hype in terms of combat quality, unfortunately. Hopefully the doubles and singles rounds will include the hardcore fighting.

The fights were goofy. Jaune's a poor leader and so is Neptune.

Couldn't get over the sound effects they were making while fighting either. Animation seemed herky-jerky.

I'm holding out hope that the reason all of the fights were ended in kind of cheap ways for this episode is due to it being four vs four and that taking much longer to animate and whatnot. But yeah the voice acting has improved and I'm pretty sure Weiss was voiced by someone else this episode. It just sounded really different, probably just sick.

No, it's not the voice actress. Everyone sounds different this year. Nora and Emerald have the same effect on me.
