Hey, Lug, I wrote that I'm working on a Practice teacher next to the to do list XD I passed out last night before I could finish her.

Hey, Lug, I wrote that I'm working on a Practice teacher next to the to do list XD I passed out last night before I could finish her. #narcolepsyOh, I see. Hm... Well, we might consider having two Practice teachers that work together. One that specializes in target/dummy practice, and the other that specializes in creating and managing obstacle courses. Or one of you can be the teacher and the other the teacher's aide. Basically I don't want to you have three characters while Harine, a co-gm, has only one. By the way, the classroom for Practice is outdoors, though in a sort of controlled area, like the Quidditch pitch in Harry Potter. It comprises a big shooting range, as well as a bunch of terrain that's perfect for obstacle courses. @Agent, I didn't delete it actually, even though I said I might. I'll take a look at the history and see what I can get for you.
Yeah, mine is far, far more specialized in the target practice department XDOh yeah? I draw from real-life experience in the firearms/obstacle course departments. u w0t? u wanna 'ave a go mate?
*throws up his hands* I surrender! No, but seriously, I have quite a bit of experience with firing guns myself. Not so good at the names, though. Obstacle courses, I suck at those. Honestly... If I hadn't already typed up half the profile I'd just tell you to take it, but I like my character concept and I've put effort into this. I would like to partner up, though...@Kaithas Sure, who would be the main teacher and who would be the aide?
Well, I was going to follow what Lug said and have an expert in target practice (which is what my char is) and an expert in obstacle courses/maneuvering But if you want to have a teacher/aide relationship, which would you rather have?Well, the character I have in mind is a female soldier type. Either teacher or aide is fine. She wouldn't be an expert in precision long-range work, but basic combat skills and training would be more her forte. She would cover ranged weapons, weapons manipulation, and hand-to-hand combat.
Wait, I just realized, what's the point of a dedicated "Armory" class if we can only upgrade our weapons if we win the bonus challenges? What will our characters be doing all period? And what about people who don't take Armory class? What will the excuse be when their weapons are upgraded? All I can think of is "They're a real tinkerer and found the time and resources necessary to do this solo." But that seems like a stretch for most characters. At the end of the day, Armoury is still a class with a dedicated teacher and unfortunately, not every student that signed up for Armoury can make tanks which means that things will have to be taught assuming that the students only have a basic knowledge on engineering and designing. I do know what you mean though so maybe if we have some form of afterschool class where you can spend points to upgrade weapons?
Oh, yeah, that makes more sense. Sorry, I just get confused sometimes. As for the second part, I guess upgrades could be given better explanations, like, as you said, an afterschool class or an NPC friend helped or something. I'll be sticking with my vote then.Wait, I just realized, what's the point of a dedicated "Armory" class if we can only upgrade our weapons if we win the bonus challenges?
