[OOC] Heroes of Beacon - the Next Chapter

Ah, that's embarrassing. My apologies everyone. I thought pretty much every submitted character would be placed there, not just the already approved ones. So, uh... ignore that little blunder, please? I talked over PM for a bit with Lugubrious and misunderstood where a CS would go if I wanted a spot on the waiting list. I would delete the post if I knew how.

@Prince of Seraphs The fact that this is the first time I've heard of those makes me sad. As for the CS... I do notice that things are out of order, but the only really out of place thing that I'm noticing is the 'History' section. I modified a character I made some time ago to fit the format. I actually didn't even notice that there isn't a background section in the provided CS template until now.

Generally speaking we ran a rough version of our history past Lugubrious but he wanted any past a character might have to come out IC. I assume so that in any given situation when you ask someone a question the answer is actually a mystery so you can't tailor your character's interactions to find out certain things about them that your OOC self already knows.

I remember bringing this up early on and Lug saying that it was planned. Also vaguely someone else posting that: "this was the first RP I've been in where not having a backstory section wasn't an excuse not to write one" or something to that effect.

So I could not wait to edit in combine post as I am still waiting for the green-light from VGNB if it acceptable. Its just for Sarina defending the caravan. I will edit in Vega post later on. I do not want to waste an IC post space.

Because Beacon is a prestigious school for Hunters and Huntresses, who are expected to protect the world and it's peace? I'd imagine that they would not allow their students (Most who should be around 17 years old, mind you) to be using illegal substances or partaking in activities reserved for adults, regardless of their aptitudes. Sure, Physics might have gotten shanked in the ribs ever since the trailers revealed themselves, but Beacon is still a school with certain standards. A fighting school mind you, but not some cheap inner-city school were delinquency is accepted. Usually.

Read the OP for the original Heroes of Beacon RP I realize now that it didn't have a history or personality section, the CSs really only demonstrated the power level of a character which is more or less useless for why I wanted to read Bridget's. Pity.

Fusing Dust with yourself sounds very painful and very dangerous. Would not recommend it.

actually, dust has been known to be woven into clothing and tattooed onto the skin to give the bearer elemental abilities. We've only seen it in clothing so far used by Cinder, but tattoos were mentioned around the same time.
