I assume we've hit a little bit of a slow spot because a lot of us are waiting on others to make things happen. Perhaps if we were to shake a little of the control that the teachers have over the students, some of us would be able to post a little more freely.

I don't know. The problem with controlling a situation too tightly is that people can't do much except to respond to rigid cues. If we were to expand the situation a little, then more posting could be done. For instance, I'm sure that Skyrte meant that we can encounter Grimm in the woods while hunting for firewood, but none of us in the class have done that yet. I'm not sure how the scenarios present in PE or Practice could be expanded more.

Perhaps the situation could derive from a GM controlled npc character. Perhaps some random student does something that attracts everyone's attention...

So uh... now that Sangue is officially my main character, I'd like to share something!

If any of you can recall it, I did mention that I had a surfboard/axe/shotgun wielder, who I actually drew before. He looks like this:

Looking back at it, I feel like I wouldn't be able to control such a freaky weapon without either feeling like I'm overpowered or noticing that the weapon is just so weird to visually describe in the first place.

Not to mention the way you describe it has nothing to do with how it seems to be used, which is like a giant double ended halberd.

I bet from the three words shotgun/surfboard/axe I can make a better weapon that seems to actually be used the way it sounds.
