Being a strong brute can be fun but all the strength in the world means little if your opponent has other methods of attack.

I have to admit both Fury and Kanitah are tough guys to fight. Fury is especially tough since he can match General Freedom blow for blow. Kanitah has the potential to counter General Freedom well, forcing the freedom fighter to use his range.

@MelonHead
Hay nurd, I got someone to draw Fury for you.

They did it for free, never finished the picture, and I never heard from them again.

But here ya go.

I don't know a huge amount about grappling myself, but I think Kanitah would be particularly well suited to UFC style low-take downs (sort of similar to frontal rugby tackles) because of his size and strength.

Yeah, the waist grab and lift. Putting your opponent to the mat head first, really good when you're short and strong. And I thought about doing that, but you followed up the punch with a burst of momentum. So that would have just had Kanitah take the full weight of Fury to the face and chest. Which would have hurt worse than being slammed into the ground.

Yeah it would have been difficult to pull off after attempting the upper-body grap, but Fury would have probably been taken by surprise if it had been attempted earlier when you snuck under his guard.

Originally, I was going to have Kanitah headbutt Fury in the chin when he pushed the guard. But I'm writing as Kanitah, not as myself. Kanitah wouldn't do that this early in the fight.

Oh. Well, a fair number of my characters use guns. Though not particularly modern guns, by that I mean. I have a few western era characters, aliens, and science-fiction characters who us future guns.

So.

There's that, if that counts.

I'll be honest, I'm not entirely sure if Fury's defence is possible. It's based off the presumption that his energy sensing abilities may have been overlooked, so he was essentially reacting to Kanitah's attack as if completely unimpaired which would place surprise on his side.

Honestly I'm not sure if Kanitah is doing some sort of super-man thing or what though, so if his feet are off the ground I guess he'd just go flying past Fury regardless.

Feet planted on the ground

From my end, Fury's energy sense is obscenely obvious. But on Kanitah's end, he still has no clue what Fury's capable of. While, to be fair, Fury hasn't seen everything that Kanitah is capable of. It isn't nearly as much hidden as Fury has tucked away.

The list of things that Kanitah is aware of for Fury includes;
Energy Drain
Energy Blasts
High Speed Flight
Unbridled Fury

Alright I assumed the attack was something of that sort, hence the use of Fury's right hand to help with the tripping.

Yeah, I meant Kanitah not knowing that Fury can sense energy. Knowing he can drain energy is an important advantage though,

Can you make up your damn mind on our terrain? First you call the terrain rocky, so I assumed scrag and little life hence Fury's low energy, then you put a tree down, and then you say there's grass at your feet, and now your back to kicking dirt up like we're fighting in a dust bowl or a sandy arena.

Just choose one damnit.

The terrain is just grassy, for the most part. A few sparse trees around, the dirt getting kicked is from Fury's crater that he left behind by landing. Also dirt is everywhere, kicking dirt from the ground is possible even with grass everywhere.

I mentioned the grass in the first post, and rocky planet as in mountainous. Poor wording on my part, I didn't mean it in the planet is dry and rocky.

Edit: I asked my roommates what they thought of first when I said Rocky Planet, and I'm the asshole here. I visualized a mountainous planet, but everyone else visualized a dry crag.

Entirely my bad, I'm the asshole here.

Lol, doesn't matter, though I would generally refute your claim that you can effectively -kick- dirt off a grassy surface.
