Liz rolled her eyes at Marcus, he was too full of energy even after losing control like that. She jumped out of the window afterwards landing and rolling to break the pressure on her feet to allow her to land without any harm and headed to the tennis court wondering what kinda of fight the two people would be having. I wonder if Meriuin is still annoyed at me from that fight Liz thought as she continued to walk on.

@ScorpionLantern Ryan saw Mithrail and sighed. He remembered her from last time around. 'I do hope she's mellowed out.'

"wow your really doing all out aren't you?" Eris said as she pointed upward and one of the runes she had put down glowed and morphed into a giant reflective shield which eris picked up and angled upward at the massive drill after she moved under it. "this is gonna break as soon as it hits so I need to get this right.... Maybe I should just concede the fight though if he gets this" she thought as she felt the ball hit and the Sheild shatter driving her into the ground , the magic had been redirected back up but the ball had only been slowed as it came down and touched the ground. "I guess that's a point to you" she said getting up.

Marcus slid to a halt in front of the tennis court with a smile on his face. He was happy because he thought he had beaten Liz to an unknown race to the tennis court. His smile then disappeared when he saw Liz. "How'd.....!" He stopped mid way through the sentence. He lightly slammed the bottom of his fist into the palm of his other hand. "....The windows!!!!" He shouted as if he solved a puzzle. "Damn , why the hell I didnt think about that!?" He asked himself a little frustrated for no apparent reason. He sat with his legs criss crossed and watch the match that unfolded before him. Even though he was just in the infirmary a few minutes ago he looked healthy as ever almost like nothing had ever happened. Although he still was wearing a countless amount of Band-Aids and bandages. You'd think he's crazy but it turns out he's just has a big carefree spirit.

Liz chuckled as she arrived and watched Marcus arrive and his reaction to her getting there a little bit before. Walking over she sat next to him looking at his bandages "If you want I can run some water over the small cuts to heal them now." She offered and turned her attention to the match again, it seemed fairly balanced but Liz wanted Sol, her old friend to win and to mostly see how much he had developed since Sol was the first person to defeat back at the old school.

Meruin arrived shortly after Marcus did. Three books were floating around her, keeping her from suddenly going anemic. She maybe a walking WMD when it came to magic, but she was probably the weakest physically compared to everyone in the school.

She saw Liz and Marcus, and approached them expressionlessly.

"Liz, Marcus . . . I suppose I don't have to mention how I feel about your match, yes?" she said, forgoing a greeting.

Liz looked at Meruin's approached and waved to her with a smile though it quickly disappeared when she mentioned the match which instead caused Liz to sigh "Its fine, Marcus forgave me and no one is seriously hurt." The girl explained seeming eager to drop the subject before Meruin went into a lecture.

"Nah , but thanks for worring." He took a quick glance back at the court before Meruin arrived. "Hey 3." Marcus smiled waving towards Meruin. " The fight must of been awesome!!! I mean I don't remember much of it...but it was fun right? Right?" He asked looking at both Meruin and Liz. Marcus does remember the power boost he received during the battle but after that it all goes blank. He laid back onto the grass." Yeah! We're all good no troubles between us!" He wished he could remember the battle but it was all fuzzy and happened to fast.

Meruin paused for a short while, thinking over on what to say. "Liz . . . you unleashed what is quite possibly one of your trump cards on an un-ranked match. You should have seen that he wasn't right in the head at that point. I understand the need to fight and improve, but I don't want to risk anyone getting permanently hurt. Regardless if he forgave you and no one got hurt, I just don't want it to happen again."

The small mage stared at the two of them, hoping they got the message. Then she dropped the subject. "Well, that's all, really. In any case, Marcus, you should have kept attacking Liz and try to keep yourself from getting provoked," she advised, "you had a good chance of winning, much higher than I anticipated really, and Liz, it's nice to see you've made a connection with that elemental. Euphie, was it? Perhaps you'd like a duel later on? I'd like a chance to experiment . . . er, test out some of my theories against elementals."

Liz frowned as she was scolded for going so far out in just a practice fight but Liz at the time felt like there was no choice, she had started to despise losing as if she would never be able to do anything again if she lost. But her frown and doubts quickly vanished when Meruin mentioned Euphie to a small chuckle "It was not easy but I think your master had this planned." Liz explained "Neither of us wanted to be really connected to each other. It took a few years for us to start talking but thats the genius of your masters seal." She paused "I can break it but it recreates itself within a period of time, meaning Euphie can have control for a while so shes fairly happy even if she never shows it." Liz looked up at the sky "I guess I can spar at a later time, Thanks to Euphie's training my recovery time between fights is quite lower now."

Sol grinned, as he thought Eris defenses were strong but not enough to stand up to a full force assault. He replied to Eris's comment, "Indeed it simply wouldn't do to lose my first match of the year, one point to go, your serve I believe." Sol finished already gathering more magic to finish the match.

Meruins face glowed a little hearing Liz praise Reina. She gave a small smile. "It's fine if we spar later, I'm not in a hurry."

Just then Meruin noticed a familiar face, accompanied by an unfamiliar face, and a baby.

"Isn't that girl the Celestial? I wonder how Sol is going to feel about hat," she said, choosing not to comment the child in her arms.

A small tune came over the school speakers. "Everyone please report to the common room, classes will begin shortly and we're giving out your braces. That is all."

Ryan dissolved the ice shield in front of him and got up. He walked past Mithrail and glanced at her. "I do hope we can get along this time around. But I don't really care either way. Just try not to piss anyone off like last time you were here." He continued walking until he got to the common room.

Cruz Meister, Pamela Armellia and Lynda "Lyn" Hermit
Location: Court Outside the Academy

"... The braces! Oh crap, I forgot about them!", he said, quickly getting up. Pamela soon followed him and got up too. "A-Are we too late to get them?!", she asked. In that moment, Lyn came down from the tree she was. "The class will start soon, so of course we're late! What are you waiting for?! Let's go!", she said, running towards the academy building. Cruz grabbed Pamela's arm and booth dashed, following Lyn. She didn't spoke a word, but Pamela was truly enjoying that moment.

Agni Blackheart & Cerberus
Location: Common Room

"*sigh*... Do I really have to...?", he said, completely disgusted about the idea of entering the common room, where some people that he fought before were. "If you permit me, my master, I will retrieve your brace for you.", Cerberus said, but Agni gave an even harder sigh. "The thing is that I can't. I HAVE to retrieve it, wanting to accept the fact or not. And then I have to go to class.", he said. Agni started to read his grimoire. "Cerberus. You will go to the class and will wait there for me. Pick the most far seat you can. In the corner.", he said. Cerberus bowed and without a single word, walked towards the class. Agni, on the other hand, walked towards the common room, while reading the Word of Hatred, without raising his eyes to anyone.

"Yep its my serve" she said as she got up and wiped the blood from her mouth 'he wants to play rough I'll play rough too' she thought. "Hold on one second," she said before she held her hands unfortunately of her and said "release barriers 1 through 4" and the scales on her arm started spreading further "ok let's go" and made her swords reappear and make a wall before she launched the ball at sold feet at an even greater speed than before.

Slick grabbed a brace from the teacher. "One, four, four. There were a hundred and fourty five students this year, one got sick had to leave. So I'm the worst of this sorry lot huh?"

Meruin, upon hearing the announcement, gave a small nod towards Liz and Marcus. "I'll be going to pick up my brace. I'll see you later, unless you're planning on following me."

The small mage drew a magic circle on the ground with the tip of her shoe, and placed a ward their to record the match between Sol and Eris. In one breath, the scenery around her changed as she transported herself instantly, arriving in front of the common room. As she entered, she saw Slick. She recognized him from last year, but never really talked with him much.

"Hello," she greeted casually, as she walked towards the teacher to receive her bracer.

"Hi there, Meruin." Slick sighed. "Must be good to have a high rank huh?" Slick looked at his brace as he put it on his left arm, his dominant one.
