i'm of the same mind in this. I mean essentially she gets a backpack that then releases the weapons. I don't think she's a robot of any kind, but i believe she is possibly a very reclused person. I mean just the way the man basically tells her to not interact with other people at the end (spoiler? haha) is sort of a way of saying she is being sheltered in some way.

She could be using possibly prototype weapons. I bring all this to mind only because we essentially know nothing of the world other then what we are told. I'm not saying i'll be like "OMG I'M NEVER WATCHING THIS BECAUSE SHE'S A ROBOT" cause in all honest, it wouldn't bother me either way. But i'm saying that i think she's a human. Just she has some interesting aura like abilities, and what not. haha XD

But reclused to the point of laying on the ground and not having the sense to get up until after someone trips on her ("Hey, Weiss, you stepped on a Penny!" ) and says she should get up. Other than that, she could have been hidden from the world.

He's hinted at a main character dying? Damn, them feels will be hard to swallow, especially if it's a member of Team RWBY.

No Monty has not said it directely but remember the announcement? it quoted that line from the opening about lights ceasing to burn. So i am not sure if it will be anyone major but rest assured it probably will not be a member of any major teams like RWBY etc...

The death thing is only a fan speculation.

So i just wait and see when it comes to that. No need for speculation...well so long as people don't drive it like it's the will of the writers world that is. haha

On a,side note, when RWBY first came out, I instantly thought of an episode where the teams meet RvB-equivalent characters of the White Fang (ie Red Team, Blue Team, Tex-equivalent vs Glynda). I thought it'd be funny.

I'm glad I have a backing of like minded people. Now just need to wait & see who is right(or perhaps none of us are, somehow)
