Well, I've determined how Gabrielle managed to spend so long on her journey without being a total incompetent: she was almost always lost. And when she wasn't, she tended to forget about gym battles because of rumours of ghosts or urban legends about dark phantoms stalking people.

So there was a dumb screw up with the formatting that wasn't even a screwup since all I needed to do was paste the CS in again but the site fucked up for some reason and made a new reply instead of an edit and now I look stupid but yeah, that's the character done I guess.

Backstory is pretty bad but I had no idea what to really put to pad it out so yeah.
