With that, I'd like to (very begrudgingly) announce that UrbanEvolution is the official Co-GM of the RP. Before any of your sheets get accepted, I'll be runnin' it by him.

History/Bio:
Born and raised alongside the Bayou, Warren Vadas grew up in the thriving colourful city of New Orleans. Not that he ever got to experience the city outside of Hallowe'en and Mardi Gras thanks his rather startling appearance. Although Warren was seemingly born a normal child, as he grew the fact that he was far from normal also glaringly apparent. The first thing to come was Warren's tail as the small appendage began to grow from the back of his skull.

Power:
Heat Manipulation:
While Warren does not have the ability to create heat, he has the ability to absorb heat into himself and then generate it outwards to a variety of effects. He can drain heat from a source entirely leaving it frozen and in the case of biological heat, the victim would be left either near death or dead. Once Warren has absorbed heat he then radiates it from his body, increasing its temperature to produce the desired effect. However as he has to absorb heat in order to this, the heat he generates is finite and requires constant replacement. Without replacement he would use his own body heat and essentially drain himself, killing him in the end. There is no cap on how hot Warren can increase the heat he generates to, that said external factors are what in fact limits his abilities. Were he placed in an insulated box, Warren could likely heat the box to a point it would melt, if not evaporate from around him. However the larger the area the lower his cap becomes due to the effort and tremendous amount of heat he would have to absorb in order to create the higher temperatures within the area.
The most obvious application of Warren's ability is to simply superheat everything around him. This in theory could lead him to superheating even air however the amount of heat he would have to absorb is not achievable. As such Warren has to direct his heat towards specific objects or otherwise limit it by surrounding himself with it. As such, Warren can melt most solids unless they otherwise combust from heat. Combustion can be achieved in most solids and even some liquids although a substance like water is much more likely to become steam when Warren applies his ability, although this has its uses as well. Combustion can lead to incineration if Warren maintains the heat contact this does take tremendous effort however and is variable in effectiveness depending on numerous factors including the size of the target and their material. Melting metals gives Warren a pseudo-metallokinesis as he can direct the heat through the metal to reshape it to a limited degree. It wouldn't be anything elaborate but he could bend metal sheets or weld several pieces of metal together if given the right amount of heat.
Directing heat within himself, Warren can accelerate his body's metabolism allowing him to burn calories quicker making maintaining a healthy physique require less physical exercise. Furthermore this application also can speed up Warren's recovery times, encourage more rapid healing within his body. However it should be noted that over doing this will lead to a cardiac arrest.
Warren has the ability to see and locate high sources of heat, this is due to his ability to see the world from an infrared perspective. It should be noted that while doing this, Warren's vision is somewhat more limited as he's not able to differentiate between cold surfaces as well leading to him walking into walls or other objects which can escape his view. As such he uses this ability sparingly although sometimes his eyes can become 'stuck' in this mode leading to days or poor vision.
Limits:
-Perpetually cold causing him to wear heat reflective clothing. -Larger areas require more heat absorbed in order to generate a wider effect -The larger the area, the more heat required to reach 'Absolute Hot' which essentially means the wider the area the lower his cap is. -The sun provides the most consistent source of heat however is also obstructed regularly by weather conditions. Furthermore due to the distance between the sun and Earth as well as the Earth's rotation, the sun can charge Warren at different rates, 3pm being his peak charge times where as 3am is his low.
Weaknesses/Drawbacks:
Warren's abilities come with some severe drawbacks. As stated in his limitations his need for heat leaves him in a perpetually cold state unless he's able to absorb heat. It should be noted that he can not actual create heat and must therefore draw it from sources around him whether it be solar, artificial or even biological. If Warren were to manipulate his own natural body heat it could render him seriously ill if not kill him as it would if he absorbed any other human's body heat entirely. Likewise increasing his own body heat through his ability could prove fatal and an over extension of his ability. While Warren's body is capable of resisting the heat produced by his ability, trying to manipulate his own body heat is akin to trying recharge a battery with itself. If Warren's internal temperatures are 'human' he's essentially weakened. Warren requires a charge from an external heat source. Furthermore the environment and other factors within it have a great amount of effect on his abilities, the larger the area the less effective he becomes as he requires more heat to manipulate for the same effect. This is because his heat is affected by opposing temperatures, even room temperature works against his heat. Cold and freezing temperatures are especially effective as they directly counter his abilities and render them completely null.
Up until Zoe began transitioning, she was growing like any other boy. Right before she hit puberty, her parents placed her on testosterone blockers to keep her from developing male features. The estrogen she starting taking really did her justice. Zoe began transitioning into a beautiful woman as if she was a biological female. She developed curves, fair skin, long silky blonde hair, and full breasts which to her surprise were a perfect size (Since then, she's gone up a cup size after she turned 18.) Her voice sounds like a biological female, unlike some male to female transwomen who decide to transition later in life and have a slight deepness when they speak. Despite the doctors telling her that the process could stunt her growth, she is now a whopping 5’9 bombshell. Both sides of her family are tall so it was only natural she acquired those genes regardless of her transition. Her most notable features are her crisp blue eyes where one could get lost in for days. And to address the elephant in the room: yes, she still has her ‘boy parts’ which she has learned to tuck while in dresses or tight pants. She is due to have her sex reassignment surgery next year.
Attire:
Zoë usually wears top of the line designer clothing like Versace, Ralph Lauren, Christian Dior, Louboutin, and many more. Zoe is always up to date with her fashion and wouldn’t be caught dead wearing something out of date. Pink and black are her favorite colors so most of her wardrobe consists of such. The type of clothes she normally wears range between cocktail dresses to a simple short-short and a blouse.
Personality
Innate & Outward Personality:
Zoë can be quite the introvert sometimes. This may be hard to believe due to her expensive looking appearance. After her parents decided to let her transition, Zoë was subjected to nonstop bullying transforming her into a very depressed individual. Often times she had thought about killing herself just to make it stop. These feelings lead her to become very anti-social and awkward. Zoë always had the urge to just hide when she was in a crowd of people, especially if they were looking directly at her. After gaining a special friend, she was taught to stand up for herself and not allow bigotry to ruin her self-worth.
Zoë began to dress to impress and garnered a fuck all attitude about most things. She started to carry herself with more confidence and completely change her personality. Zoë has the tendency to be very vain at times and stare into her makeup mirror too often. Zoë also has a very addictive personality, mostly with makeup and shopping. Also due to the hormone treatment, her emotions are in a start of constant flux. She can go from sweet to bitch in a few seconds without thinking about it. There are times where she does flaunt her money around in people’s faces, making it known that she was born with a silver spoon in her mouth. When not acting arrogant, stuck up, and rude, she can be quite the sweetest person. It all depends on her hormone levels that day.
So basically, if there’s something you need to know about Zoë is that she ain’t no basic bitch. Believe me; you don’t want to cross her. She is a leader, someone you’d rather have as your ally than your enemy. She can be very compassionate and nice, but won’t kneel down for anyone. Wherever she goes, she makes heads turn with her dashing looks and strong personality. She doesn’t have to ‘look’ for attention; it always seems to find her.
Hobbies/Interests:
There isn’t a time that goes by where she does not want to buy something whether it is in a store or online. Her addictive personality is always tugging at her very being to buy something she doesn’t need or to have the latest things. Zoë is also a stickler to working out and staying healthy. She’s a full blown vegetarian and doesn’t like the taste of meat. With her workout regimen, she’s kept the perfect body. The fashion industry is a huge part of her life, especially in makeup artistry, fashion designing, and modeling.
Skills/Talents:
Zoë has artistic ability and loves arts and crafts. She is a talented designer and loves sketching new outfits as well as makeup artistry. She strives to be a model, designer, or a makeup artist one day. Also with her new ability she acquired, she’s developed the talent of being stealthy and undetectable. She can get around anywhere or infiltrate just about any place without getting caught.
Prized Possession:
Her makeup bag and sketch pad.

History/Bio:
Zoë was born Zachary Gambino in the heart of Los Angeles, California. Born of Italian decent, family was everything and everyone stuck together. At an early age of only two, Zachary found a fascination with women’s clothing and all toys that were marketed towards girls. Every time his parents were to take them away, he would scream and throw a fit until he was allowed to play with them. Of course his parents just passed this as a phase that he would grow out of. This persisted into elementary school where he preferred to be called by female pronouns and to be referred to as Zoë named after his favorite Sesame Street character. After taking Zoë to a doctor that specialized in gender identity disorder, it was concluded that their son was indeed transgender. Loving their now daughter very much, they went through with her transition. They began buying her female clothes, changing her documents, and calling her by her correct names. Through this, Zoë’s parents were scrutinized by young kids and even teachers, saying that allowing their son to do this was a type of abuse. However, being in a relatively liberal city, they were supported for the most part.
Before Zoë hit puberty, she was taken to a doctor to start her testosterone blockers and estrogen. Coming from a wealthy family, most of her transition steps were affordable. After beginning her hormone treatment, Zoë began blossoming into a beautiful female, and not a “nasty hairy boy” like she feared of becoming. Going into junior high school, she was picked on relentlessly. Even though she was enrolled as a female, word got out of her transsexualism and it went downhill from them. There were times Zoë had to lock herself in the bathroom to stop the bullying. This caused her to go into a deep depression, even having thoughts of suicide. Teachers did nothing to stop the torment. Her personality became to change, causing her to be very anti-social and quiet. After meeting a dear friend that summer after finishing junior high, she began changing her outlook on this. With a fresh start into high school, she began wearing all of her favorite brands and having flawless makeup. All the men she spoke to never knew she was born male mostly due to the fact she never started male puberty. One boy in particular she took an extreme liking to, even to the point of stalking him. This is how her ability manifested.
When trying to sneak out of her house, she suddenly turned invisible out of panic when her parents almost caught her downstairs. With this ability, she used it to stalk to boy she liked. She began to master it and use it for her own bidding. She used it to get back at all of the people who did her wrong. She took the role of Queen Bee and carried herself with upmost confidence. Soon after, Zoë received an invitation to join the Academy to further her abilities. Initially she thought the Academy was hell and wanted to leave home immediately. Sooner or later she got used to it and decided to continue her education instead of quit. She eventually received her certification and decided to stay to receive college credit that she could use to transfer to a major university. Zoe still goes home to visit her family and friends often, as well as take small modeling gigs whenever they are willing to have her.

Relationships - Abilities
Power Class:
Super-System & Elemental
Power:
Invisible Energy Manipulation
Applications:
Invisibility – Zoë can render herself unseen by the naked eye and become invisible in visible spectrum. She also directs enough undistorted light to her eyes to retain their full range of vision while invisible. She can move about an environment unseen by others and act without being observed and can do so without causing any visible distortion effects. Sometimes Zoë can be seen by others by choosing to while the people around the user can't also known as selective invisibility. This also applies to technological systems like motion sensors, thermal detectors, and monitoring devices like cameras. She can render parts of their body invisible while leaving the rest visible as well, known as partial invisibility. Zoë is able to turn others and other objects invisible by touching them or mentally willing it.
Cloaking Shield Generation – Zoë is able to project her invisible energy away from her body to create invisible shields and cloaks. She can construct shields (invisible force-fields) and shield-like objects to defend herself, as well as use them to cloak everything inside making them totally invisible/imperceptible, and as such can in no way be detected or communicated with by external forces such as technological systems and psychic powers. The user is able to render other people and objects unseen by the naked eye affecting up to a few thousand cubic feet; roughly the size of an average swimming pool. Her shields can only be shaped as domes, walls, or barriers. She is able to use this ability offensively by throwing her walls towards someone to knock them back. Her invisible shields can protect herself and others from most attacks, but requires active concentration to keep them up.
Limits:
Invisible energy can only stay active for as long as the user can concentrate. While her invisibility can stay active for quite a while before having to revert back, her shields take more energy to create. Her shields limits can take more physical attacks, but are weakened when hit by bullets. Zoe’s shields are limited to so many bullets before they disperse and she’s vulnerable for attack.
Weaknesses/Drawbacks:
Rain and other liquids, solids, fire, etc. can show the user's shape while invisible as well as smoke. In extremely cold temperatures, Zoe’s invisibility may become distorted to wear you can possibly see her. Although she can remain undetected by most Cerebral’s, she can’t remain hidden by all of them. Powerful clairvoyants in particular are able to sense her when she’s around. People with optical powers have a higher chance of detecting her as well. The power also takes concentration. If it is broken, she becomes visible again. Zoe is unable to stay invisible for a long time due to the amount of energy it takes.
Other:
Zoe has a dog named Princess. Her favorite makeup brand is MAC. Her favorite food is cheese pizza. Her favorite color is pink. Her major is Fashion Designing & Marketing.
Sample Post:
Zoe cut through the dewy grass of Christopher Hansen’s house, seeing the dim light in his room that seemed to always be on. She knew this because she came to his house every day for the past month. She loved him. She needed to see him at all costs. After arriving on the front porch, she quickly rendered herself transparent as Chris’ mother suddenly left the house. Zoe used this time to slip through the door while it was open before it was closed. The sudden scent of cinnamon invaded her nose as she stood in the foyer of the house. The house had nice interior designing with a very old school vibe.
Setting her sights on her love, she made her way upstairs until she saw his room at the end of the hall. With great stealth, she crept to his bedroom door which had been open slightly ajar. She gently pushed the door open and walked in, finally in the same space as him. There laid a teenage boy with chocolate brown hair, big green eyes, a perfect straight nose, and pouty lips. He had the body of an Olympic athlete which Zoe dreamed of ravishing one day. Chris was on his bed reading a book that had been assigned by his English class. It only took a second for the teenage boy for his door to open slightly. Staring at it for a moment, he walked up to the door and shut it, merely passing it off as the air condition vent in the hall.
By the time Chris came back to the bed, Zoe had taken the liberty of sitting on the end, watching his every move; studying everything about it. She wanted him so bad, it hurt. Chris knew of her and her condition, merely brushing her off every time he saw her. Zoe just took it as him playing hard to get. She knew he wanted her. He had to want her. She took the next ten minutes to just watch him quietly as Chris continued to read his novel.
@Heathen A transgendered invisible woman. Neat. I think Zoe is an interesting character that will have some interesting character dynamics with a few of mine (Particularly Lupe and Mika). After talking it over with my not-so-fabulous Co-GM, Zoe is...
Accepteronio. Post her in the character tab.
Zoe should totally be Lupe's room mate (Lupe's way better in this RP than ThinkerRock).
Edit: Since Zoe comes from money, I made her father the CEO of a major computer software company for Metahumans and allied groups. Ya know. Just cause.
Edit: Since Zoe comes from money, I made her father the CEO of a major computer software company for Metahumans and allied groups. Ya know. Just cause.
Oooh, could I have some more details on this company?
Actually I just thought of something. The software can be like Cerebro and track down and keep a log of all Metahumans around the world. Something along those lines.

Sorry for the double post btw.
That'd be an organization that'd work pretty closely with NEST.
And for the record, I don't really give a damn about double posts. Long as they contribute to the thread/RP in some way, it's fine..
Much to Ruben’s ire, he has adopted nicknames along the lines of “Metalhead” and “Meatfucker” from some of those he has met and mentored.

Physical Appearance:
Ruben’s “head” is hidden from view by his Brainvault. The rest of him is nothing but a disgusting slurry of raw meat, organs, sinewy bones, and muscles. He often shapes himself into the closest thing to a human body he can muster.
Attire:
The closest thing Ruben has to clothes is his Brainvault Type 2, a cranial device designed by his colleagues and modified by Ruben himself. It resembles a metal sphere with several ports and antennae protruding from it, a bumper system to protect from sudden impacts, a voice box that translates his verbal thoughts to comprehendible speech, and other such devices. Ruben wraps his body in gauze to keep his true form from public view, though it tends to seep after a while, meaning he has to reapply it often, especially after he changes form. It puts most people off, as you can imagine.
Personality
Innate & Outward Personality:
Towards others, Ruben is a kind and curious intellectual. He respects the nature and opinions of others and rarely, rarely displays a negative attitude. This is marred, however, by his appearance. Often taken for a monster at first glance, he usually has to be introduced by someone aware of his “condition” before he can formally introduce himself. He enjoys interaction with others and values those who don’t judge him immediately for his bizarre appearance, or the cryptic and obscure mannerisms by which he speaks.
On the inside, Ruben is nothing but a constant thinker. He always scans his immediate surroundings, thinking about everything and everyone around him before himself. He is very analytical but does his best to keep his observations to himself unless someone brings them up.
Hobbies/Interests:
Ruben spends a great deal of his free time working on his Brainvault Type 3, an upgrade to his current rig which he theorizes will be able to protect him from psionic assault and manipulation, which he is still somewhat susceptible to. Besides that, he enjoys his research, maintaining his health, walking about, observing his surroundings, and chatting with others who allow him to.
Skills/Talents:
Ruben, being the studious and over-thinking sludge he is, has a knack for mind games and puzzles, able to solve them relatively quickly compared to others.
Prized Possession:
Ruben doesn’t necessarily hold any one object in great sentimental regard, but he does take extensive care of his Brainvaults, both the one he wears currently and the one he’s working on upgrading. He used to carry his original Brainvault as a reminder of the kindness his colleagues showed them, but he left it with them after he was invited to Academy 218. They considered it something to remember him by.

History/Bio:
Ruben Geraltes Tarblatt was born in rural England, on the outer side of the country. He was raised by two loving parents along with his older sister Marietta, eleven at the time of his conception. Originally a mere farm boy, his youth was flooded with the ideas and intrigues of science and engineering, brought upon by rudimentary textbooks and posters he had beheld at his elementary school. His father, despite having no interest in any scientific fields, supported his son’s eagerness to do whatever he wished, confident he’d make a successful career out of it. Ruben soon devoted himself to the broad study of biology, at first simply intending to study human physicality. That changed, however, when he learned of meta-humans.
At such a young age, Ruben was bewildered by the stories he heard of people capable of bending reality, changing form, and mastering control over the elements. He studied meta-human energy, ashing, everything that was readily available to him. While this wasn’t really what his school was versed in teaching its students, he pursued it nonetheless. His family was less than keen on this, but they allowed it to continue. In his later teenage years, he applied for a scholarship to a university in the United States. He told his family that it would give him the chance to learn much, much more, and potentially enact the foundation of a career, perhaps as a doctor or some other form of medical researcher. In truth, he had heard of a program going on in the university that focused on understanding meta-humans, their abilities, origins, everything. It was the next best thing to the illustrious Academy 218, which he had absolutely no chance of attending thanks to his mundane genetics, much to his displeasure. It took some convincing, but the family eventually agreed, and off they went to live in America.
A time later, when Ruben was 22, he ended up as a junior researcher in the MHS (Meta-Human Studies) Program on the eastern coast of the US. His father got a job in a steel mill, and his mother stayed at home. By this time, his older sister had become rather distant from the family, claiming Ruben had taken control and didn’t care about their wellbeing. There was some truth to her words, but her parents didn’t enjoy hearing it. She came back to the house less and less often and, eventually, left off on her own completely. Ruben, in all his blind eagerness to learn and progress, wasn’t made aware of his sister’s departure until after his mother passed away from old age. Ruben slowed down some at this point, returning to his home and comforting his grieving father. Hugo, however, didn’t seem to acknowledge his company like he used to. During this time, Ruben was offered a spot in an experimental trial as a lab assistant. The project was geared towards the creation of raw meta-energy and studying its uses and applications. Ruben was torn between accepting the offer or remaining with his estranged father and caring for him in his declining health and mental state.
Ultimately, Ruben took the offer and abandoned his father. Hugo died soon after, early one morning, alone and in his bed, having not eaten anything since his son left him. Ruben refused to dwell on the issue and completely devoted himself to the project.
Several years passed. Progress on the meta-energy project was slow and had reached a low point, almost on the verge of losing its funding and meta-human volunteers, most of which weren’t confident in the project in the first place. One night, Ruben had decided to stay in the lab late while his colleagues left. His spirits were already low, but that night, he got the kicker. While he was going over dead-end data readings over a vat of residual meta-energy combined with other experimental chemicals, he received an email from his sister. Hesitant, he opened the message.
Ruben,
I came back to the house last night. I thought I’d make amends with Dad after you left him. Try and patch things up. I came back and he’s not there. A neighbor who worked with him at the mill told me he’s dead and buried in the cemetery downtown. I ran to my car and I cried. I was so sad and angry at you, and I still am. I know I left Mom and Dad but I thought about it every day. You didn’t. I thought if I came back, nothing would happen. They’d be happy to see me but nothing would have changed for them. I’d still end up leaving, they’d still be together. But I at least wanted to do something for them after feeling so terrible about myself for so long. I don’t know if I should be angrier at myself for not going back sooner, or absolutely furious at you for not even caring. But there are so many other reasons. You pushed us to move to America for your own education, not mine, and not for Mom or Dad’s interests. You made them spend all their money on a dead-end project. And you abandoned them both in the end. Everything that happened was your fault. I thought I could forgive you years ago somehow, but because of all this, that will never happen. You’re horrible. You left Mom and Dad to die and you never even cared.
You’re not my brother. Don’t you dare respond to this.
That did it. Ruben normally would have just tried to shake it off but, this time, it pushed him over the edge. After a fit of hysteric crying and trashing the computer, Ruben pulled a gun meant for protection from the station drawer. He screamed at himself and fought between going through with suicide or backing out and remaining as miserable as he was. In the end, he weighed in favor of the former. Standing over the vat, he put the gun in his mouth and fired.
And he fell in.
The laboratory alarms sounded across the facility grounds. The project team were all alerted while they were asleep or out on the town for the night. When a few of them made it to the facility as quickly as they were capable of, they immediately found the vat and the… thing that was inside. One of the researchers immediately activated the emergency bottom valve, no pipe present. The beheld the organism inside; a sopping mess of meat, flesh and bone, all somehow connected to a brain that seemed perfectly intact. Almost instinctively, they set up a crude but stable life support station and connected the brain to it. That same night, they learned that it was Ruben; they found his encased ID tag lodged inside the flesh, the protective cover able to withstand whatever turned him into… what he became. The next day, they set up a neural interface terminal and connected it to Ruben’s brain. When they questioned Ruben about what happened, about the gun… he didn’t tell them. He just kept begging them to find a way to “stabilize” him. He was in pain.
The project team then turned their efforts towards figuring out what happened to Ruben and how to stabilize him. They laid him out on a table and scanned him, discovering the neural tendrils reaching out from his brain stem. Ruben attempted to move them but was incapable of doing so. The team spent the next week gathering the appropriate materials to create the prototype “Brainvault”, or so they dubbed it. It was designed to sense Ruben’s thoughts and stimulate the tendrils through sheer thought alone, in order to perform action and movement. It took time, but they constructed the prototype and placed Ruben’s brain inside of it.
Miraculously, it worked.
Ruben was then capable of controlling the tendrils and, in sequence, controlling the slurry that surrounded them. He practiced over time, shifting and reworking his new “neural stem” in order to replicate a functioning, mobile body. After months of practice, he was able to create his own system of muscles, bones, nerves, everything. He couldn’t do it without the Brainvault, however, so he was forced to survive through use of a liquid nutrient which, thankfully, was easy to brew. The team eventually forgot about the night the incident occurred, more focused on helping Ruben adapt. As expected, however, the team’s efforts made public news.
People were bewildered at first, but in the wake of developing matters regarding meta-humans, Ruben’s condition didn’t seem so strange to them. They simply assumed he was another meta-human which, in a way, he had become. The residual meta-energy detected within his neural stem had given him the ability to “meld” with any organic material the stem touched. He discovered this when he managed to “peel back” the meat and flesh to reveal a tendril, and touched an amputated arm (which had originally come from a regenerating meta-human) on a sheer whim. He watched it connect to the tendril, and afterwards, assimilate with the rest of his form. Now, that was what scared the team at first, but Ruben assured them he wasn’t going to end up like the Thing. He was too rational for that, or so he claimed.
In the years that passed, Ruben became a figure of note on the topic of meta-energy studies. Using his ability to connect to other people’s minds through neural contact, an ability his colleagues theorized and asked him to test, he pooled together enough collective knowledge to advance his team’s research into residual meta-energy manipulation. This led to a relative breakthrough in regenerative medical technology and programs capable of assisting super-system and cerebral class meta-humans in controlling, and even advancing, their abilities. This eventually caught the ear of the staff at Academy 218, and they invited him to visit the grounds and consider an opportunity as a professor. In the end, he took the job and left his remaining work up to his colleagues. He has been with the Academy two years since, offering courses to cerebral and super-system class students.

Abilities
Power Class:
Cerebral, Super-System
Power:
Ruben’s body is made up of a slurry comprised of both his meat, bone and flesh, and that of several bovines which he assimilated with years ago for utility purposes. Buried inside this slurry is a series of red stems that provide a neural link between Ruben’s brain and any organic matter he comes into contact with. This link, when not conflicted over by a separate consciousness, allows Ruben to control the slurry to almost no limit of extent, at least physically. He can mold the slurry into a pseudo-human body, or anything animalistic or otherwise that he is capable of perceiving, but is restricted to the overall greatest size he is capable of achieving. He can form muscles, joints, tendons, tendrils, bones, tissues, membranes, proboscises and many more, all with an accompanying gnashing, retching sound that can only be described as absolutely disgusting.
Ruben’s secondary ability, cerebral in nature, is more “intuitive”. The neural stems originating from his brain are capable of linking to other brains via physical contact. He can access other people’s thoughts, memories, dreams, nightmares, etc. This is, of course, seen as terrible violation of one’s privacy. Ruben never uses this ability unless he absolutely must, and only if he has the explicit permission of whoever is involved.
Limits:
Ruben’s Brainvault is constructed in a way that it is capable of condensing the slurry inside to a smaller but equal-in-mass portion (with the help of a chemical that only he knows how to create), though this space is not unlimited. It expands when it exits the Brainvault, which Ruben has to shape into something quickly or else it will randomize its own physical outcome. As of current, the amount of slurry inside the Brainvault is at maximum capacity (around three-hundred pounds of organic material), meaning Ruben cannot assimilate with anything else without being forced to make it an extension of his exterior body.
Weaknesses/Drawbacks:
Being comprised of nothing but a slurry of organic materials, Ruben is, of course, susceptible to open flames and very high temperatures. As well, being frozen solid is something he doesn’t enjoy in particular.
Other:
Ruben is not necessarily a fan of Shakespeare, but he does find some sense of relation to an excerpt from Hamlet, Act I Scene II.
O, that this too, too solid flesh would melt, Thaw and resolve itself into a dew! Or that the Everlasting had not fix’d His canon ‘gainst self-slaughter! O God! God!
Sample Post:
“Oh yeah, Meatfucker? What are you gonna do?”
Ruben despised that moniker. The inappropriate and audacious nomenclature behind it made him writhe in disgust and disappointment. He stood before the three students, who were sitting on a bench and tossing rude remarks and insults to passersby. “Cease this activity. Or punishment. Will be. Administered.” He said to them, his speech jointed by the operations of his voice box. The supposed leader of the trio sneered and turned his head.
That did it.
Ruben’s Brainvault began to rise above the students. His arms split and extended outward, unraveling the gauze tape wrapped around his body. He peered downward at them, the lights on his Brainvault turning red. “T͠h͢e g̨rea͜t͟n͝e̶s̨s͢ o̴f ̛co̧arsé ̵kin̸g͞s҉ i̕s͠ ͠wro̴ught͡ ̛by̸ t́h̸e̛ ͢t͜re̡m͟bl̵i͞n̢g̶ ̧o҉f͠ ̸ung̡ra̷t́e͡ful̸ i̛n̴s̛e͢c͟t̡s͟.” He said to them. They began to rear back in terror as the professors’ spindly meat tendrils crept towards them. “A͢Ļ͞L̴ ̶̛W͢͠ILL̷̛ ͟͠B̷̧͞E͘ ̷̵C̴O͘N̨̢Ś̷U̡M͢ÉD̷ ̕B̷Y̵̧ Ţ̨̕H͢E ̴̶̡FÁ̴͡TH̷̴ER-҉̢F̢́L͠E͞͡Ś̶H̷ ̡S͘P̧͡AẀ́͟ŅE̷̕D O͏F̢ ̧T̕͟H͞͞E͜ ̕C̶͢Ǫ̵E̵͞R̕CI͘͟͞O҉N̴͝ ҉Ǫ̶̡F̡͡ ͟͏M҉̵A̡Ĺ̡I̶G͠NA̵҉N͡T҉̸͜ ̶̡̀T̛͟͜E͟M͡P͏T҉̧R̸͡͠Ę͟Ś̢̕S͞͏E̢S.̶͠” He inched closer and closer to their faces until he was mere inches away.
The three of them stood and ran from him. They were far gone as he began to recede back into his normal form. His bandages were still unraveled, however. He’d have to fix them momentarily. Several students around the area watched as he turned and trudged on over to… wherever.
“Punishment. Administered.” He said quietly to himself.
@4weekcoma Now, I'm going to be honest here, when I first read your sheet, I was a bit conflicted about her. To me, she felt a little mary sueish with the name, appearance, and personality. I talked it over with Urban, and both of us agreed that, while she isn't a Mary Sue, she is very boring. Like, she's just a generic nicegirl with little standout qualities (Or real demons). So, Celestia is rejected. You may submit another character.
@SepticGentleman Ruben is naturally accepted. Throw him in the character deposit.
@Heathen Take your time, I'm going to leave in a bit too.
I also made a few changes to my character's power sections. I added some future powers for Lupe and Diego (And gave those powers limits/weaknesses). Along with adding something for Mika just in case she copies a power very similar to what she already has.
Speaking of Mika, I mentioned that her father's company is apart of the Savior Foundation.
I think I'm gonna leave it, I was kind of on the fence about joining because I've got work to do irl and I've just started GMing my own roleplay, this has kind of decided that for me. I wish you guys the best of luck with it though :)
