Well, as long as we keep making IC posts, we should be good. Currently, I think we're waiting on Grey.

I swear I will post later this evening.

Although I have no idea where the plot is going.

I'd assume D20 check to see if R'lyeh can backtrack his steps in to the woods? And another d20 check to set up camp.

That'll do. Let's see...
Retracing steps:
1-7: You can't remember anything of where you went or how you got to town.
8-11: You can vaguely remember, but end up leading us to an entirely different clearing.
12-15: You kinda remember where you went, and eventually lead us to where you were, after a bunch of going around in circles.
15-19: You lead us to where you were, after a few circles.
20: You lead us right to where you were.

Setting up camp:
1: You start a forest fire.
2-6: You manage to start a campfire, but the tents continue to collapse in on themselves.
7-11: You manage to set up a small camp, however, we end up getting attacked at night.
12-15: You set up camp, but we're missing a tent or two.
16-19: You set up camp well, however, there's a SLIGHT chance we might get attacked at night.
20: You set up camp perfectly. We won't get attacked at night, and you even find one of your tablets.

I'd just like to say this game is a wonderful test of willpower. You get a low roll and you're all like. Maybe... one more roll... you know just this once... no one will care or even notice right... ITS SO HARD TO RESIST

Lololol. Yeah. Funny thing is, too, that I don't even have any kind of official fumble chart. I'm making up my 1's as I go, as well as occasionally making up my 4's.

19 for search.
I'll have someone else roll for camp set up.
R'lyeh is bad with setting up camps on land.

Heh, good choice. Their roll would be...
Dorisma:

1-5: You set up camp poorly, and the tents don't last, and we get attacked at night.
6-12: You set up camp relatively well, but the tents aren't durable, but we don't get attacked.
13-17: You set up camp decently. The tents will work, and we don't get attacked at night.
18-20: You set up camp, and find an item of interest. (This would be something from R'lyeh's former group)

Deravan:

1-3: You set up camp rather poorly, and there's a good chance we'll be attacked at night.
4-6: You set up camp poorly, however, there are warning bells, so we won't get TOO surprised by a night attack.
7-12: You set up camp decently, and there are warning bells set up. There's only a small chance of getting attacked at night.
13-17: You set up camp well, even if we don't need them, there are warning bells set up.
18-19: You set up camp really well, and said tents are now reusable. There's warning bells as well, though, we won't get attacked.
20: You set up camp perfectly. The tents, and warning bells are reusable, and you find an item of interest.

Me:

1-5: I accidentally create a forest fire... and there's a good chance we'll get attacked at night.
6-9: I set up a camp fire, but the tents aren't too useful, if at all. There's still a decent chance we'll get attacked at night.
10-14: I manage to set up a small camp, however, we end up getting attacked at night.
13-17: I set up camp, but we're missing a tent or two.
18-19: I set up camp well, however, there's a SLIGHT chance we might get attacked at night.
20: I set up camp perfectly. We won't get attacked at night, and I even find an item of interest.

The reason why my character's such a poor choice for this is due to the fact that he's essentially a sheltered city boy, lol. The others have at least some experience living outside of their houses/villages, or are of a race that's nomadic.

Ok so I rolled and got a 12... after having pre-rolls that were bad using random number generator. I went with a real dice 20 instead. Gonna attempt to use that now instead of god dang number generator

Real Dice are... Difficult.
They are fickle and will betray you when you least expect it.

Number generators on the other hand are predictably unreliable.

Anyways, something to think about for future plot points. I was thinking of basically giving every character here a sort of 1v1 fight against, say, a rival, a special enemy, or what have you. Basically, this will give everyone their own time to shine, however, the player of that character will be the one who decides what leads up to it, who/what the enemy is, and even when it happens in the RP. We'll do that via PM, so the others don't have plot points spoiled for them.

Also, just for the funnies:
Guy 1: "Welcome to the table, how tough are ya?"
Guy 2: "How tough am I? HOW TOUGH AM I? I beat a dragon in one attack!"
Guy 1: "So?"
Guy 2: "I rolled a 1."
Guy 1: "Oh, uh, go right ahead, sir, enjoy your stay."

Some chat overheard at the "The Toughest Hero's Table":

Warrior: I can kill my opponent by the end of the round of combat, that's how deadly my sword swing is.
Archer: Oh please amateur, I can kill my opponent and yours by the end of my action, that's how swift my arrows are.
Mage: Simpletons, Not only can I kill my own opponent, but yours as well before your actions even begin! That is the might of my magicks!
The Support: And I can get 3 fools to kill all my enemies for gold and exp without lifting a finger... I mean...

Wanna know who the janitor of that place was? The knight we were fighting. Well, he SAYS he's the janitor, but really, he was just a stalker who thought he belonged there. Anyways, lololol.

Tell us what to do with your comrades body and take a nap or assist kobold in looking for nearby water.

Well, currently, we're pretty much ending the day. We're kinda trying to find some body of water to dispose of your friend's corpse, and, depending on what I roll when we sleep, we might end up attacked by something, but at least, warned by the rattles Deravan put up. If nothing else, you could try to find an item of interest, with you finding an enchanted (but useless to everyone due to its size) sword at 12-17, and one of your tablets, as well as the sword, at 18-20.

Hrm. I'll do a roll to search for stuff. Someone else can do water.

Roll: 8

Well looks like I find dead bodies, and nothing more.

Hey, would you mind rolling to see the future effects of the mystery potion? I'll tell you what you've figured out from that bit of research.
