@DMZ There are background points I did not include in my profIle, it merely shows his last assignment. But rest easy, there is a good background to this character (Hmm at least comparable to what other characters have so far, I think.) I just don't like having everything written down and bogging the story down. I've made it so that by reading the profIle, anyone with good attention to detail can guess the general idea.But yet leaves opportunity for collaborative plots to have happened in the past.

You'll want to define that 'slight' chance to miscast in a percentage.

I'd also like to know what system you're using for your spells. The same one as El Taco?

It is the same chance as the aRcane penalties, 5% light armor. 15% medium armor etc.

But I think I've given him way too many penalties at this point even for this normal average character (low spell selection, lack of equipment, curse), I'm just going to remove that chance of failure - so he isn't a total drag to the party. He is a divine spellcaster afterall and normally would not be hindered by such. That restriction was uneccesarily added foR the lore friendly side of me, who usually has no qualms handicapping gameplay to reinfoRce story.

The greek nuMerals above each description denote the casting points as well as their level. I thought it would be apparent enough with the words 'spell points' in there?

I ought to let you know I don't play dnd. If you want players who memorized the whole 7(I think?) guidebooks before playing, I'm not that someone. I'm a roleplayer who chanced upon this and decided to give it a go. If I'm not welcomed, let me know.

I find it best to verify what something is, so we know we're on the same page.

And D&D experience is certainly not required, good storytelling and character skills are. That's the premise of the RP.

Relius is a character who might be influenced by background things like that and he won't necessarily know the things I know. Like in this case, he doesn't know she is here for the job, not trying to take your wizard's soul.

Regarding fights with each other and DM controlled creatures:

I highly suggest you either get private convos going if a fight is between the two of you, and send a PM to me if you're fighting a creature I control. I will reply with the results in a basic form, and you can integrate them into your post. This avoids you having to wait for each other's posts and keeps the combat fluid.

This option is a little more difficult to execute in a group fight, but I'm sure we'll manage.
