Connor
This was the problem with Anthony, Connor thought. He just assumed that people didn't know what they were doing, or that they hadn't thought ahead. Connor just waited patiently for him to finish talking, before saying "I am well aware about the need to be careful, and I have already thought about the hate crime option, and am already taking action to protect, for now, those here" He pointed to the sky, to a random dot in the sky that could have been a bird, could have been a plane. Could have been anything, really.
"I haven't been idle these last few years, Anthony. And creating and building suits is a way of insuring I have what I need, when I need it. But they won't attack, not now. Not again. they will probably find it amusing, to see us scrambling around here, searching for any survivors"
he looked around, angered. "Wayne and Kent are most likely dead. If they weren't, they would be out here. Oh, there's the whole secrecy with maintaining that they are alive, but they were both dedicated to this school. And they would want to be searching for anyone alive."
He looked over as Kagerou asked him to try and access McCoy's files. He nodded, taking the drives. "I can. But understand, I will need to go and create this substitute and that will take some time. I can, of course, have Ryan start it, as he will get back to the lab faster than I"
he took the drives, nodding to Adrian. "Alright. If I leave, I'll tell you. Stay Safe. If you need me, just call. I'll come" He moved aside, figuring he was just about useless at the moment in searching for survivors, or rather, it would be quicker for the telepaths and higher senses to search.
He quickly connect the drives to his suit, and began to open it.
Phoebe
Phoebe did what she could, stablising any more ruins. It was, essentally, all she could do. Besides worry. There was Daniel to consider now. A child changed everything, and she understood more why her parents had given her up. She would do anything to protect her son. But sshe looked around at this destruction, and she just...knew she had to keep on going.
She swallowed, looking to Ryan. "If he was alive, if he was okay, he would have contacted, done something, by now. He wouldn't leave me wondering, wouldn't leave me hoping that we will find him, buried safely under all this rubble." She knew the words to be true, and she shook.
"Maybe it's fitting, he go down with the school. Like a captain and his boat. I want to kill who did this, Ryan. Kill them, ,for taking so many lives. SO many students...children, really"
Kalinda
Kalinda did her best to try and find more survivors, but she figured they were just searching for bodies now. If more students had survived, more teachers, surely there would be some sign. But she did her duty, searching inch by inch for the emotions that would mean life. It was a tireless task, and made her weary quickly.
She suddenly remembered the stranger. What if he had been apart of this? And was just watching them for amusement? She abandoned her search, but still kept her awareness open for any emotions from students, and went in search of the curious stranger.
