This looks awesome! I have been reading the wiki and I just keep getting more and more interested. Anyway, I have two questions. 1. Are anime style pics required? 2. Could I make a character who was the spawn of something like a Great Old One? (Or some similar type of interdimensional horror?)

1. Nope! My main, for example, has no anime pictures. They're common but not required.
2. You'd have to ask Rose about that one, but considering some of the villains we have had, probably.

From what I can tell, this is nearly full-on adventure. I'll be honest; this isn't really what I expected for a reboot, and I find it rather sudden to have all of my work become a "it was a five years ago" thing without a single message about this (again). I'm just really confused as to how all of this connects with everything that was happening with the old RP, which could just be entirely scrapped for a fresh start. I'll probz step out of this if what I'm thinking really is the case; the connection with the old RP and this one feels abnormally rushed.

I would prefer characters to at least have a human form, but they can have an animal form.

I'm sorry you feel this way. However, if you had read the pad, you would have found our plans for the reboot which included this bit about Marcus takes over the continent for the most part. It's not something we decided to do on the spot and has been a work in progress. If you don't wish to continue to join us with it, that's is your choice and I respect that. However, I must say I do feel a small sting from your words considering how much time and effort we have put into this RP. I wanted to give the RP a push considering all of the stalemates that continued to happen with us, not getting very far before a halt occurred. My hopes are that with this, we can push the plot more and continue on. I'm sorry if you feel that it completely negates any plans you may have had, but in the end, this is my RP and I won't feel bad for doing as I please with it.

As to how it connection with the 'old RP', it is simply farther along in the timeline. I wanted to focus on the Cross issues. Apophis and Lucifer can still be issues, that doesn't change. However, if you take Apophis out it'll have to change. I guess... my meaning in this reboot is to sort of 'recreate' Athalia. Almost as if starting with a fresh slate, giving it a new name for this 'season'/'volume' what have you. It was my decision and I hope that you can respect that. You are always welcome to stay/return/etc.

Well, so long as you understand the new 'On-Screen' rule, it's fine. Old characters are always okay, no issues there. It's still the same time line. You can choose whether a character died when Marcus attacked or not. This was simply a good way for us to clear off some of the other characters that don't seem to be coming back. And if they do come back, one can simply say the usual scapegoat of, 'They stayed away for a while and now are back.' So ye.

@I am the Black Wizards When you post the character when the OP is up, I'll let you know. Just try to avoid being Over-Powered. I will probably say no to a good deal of powers simply because of the limits of the world, other conflicts, and over-powered-ness as some people seem to like to go for those powers, myself included. However, don't feel discouraged about posting a character. Just keep it reasonable and I'll probably either let you have it or help you polish it.

It won't begin filling until we get the OP up and veterans will get priority as they already have characters in the world. (Seems fair, yeah?)

Anyway. I was planning on getting the OP up tonight but as I only got 3 hours of sleep last night, I'm going to head to bed. I may try to get it up tomorrow but I have quite a bit of school work to get through and get started on so it may not happen. I apologize if it's inconvenient or irritating but it's sort of how it has to be right now. You all are welcome to chat here as you like, however. It will be our sort of temporary OOC until I can get an OP up.

I could not enter the pad because of some error that pops up on my comp, so it's kinda guaranteed that I couldn't figure out what was going on. I didn't ask because I thought a notification of some kind would help me think about this change of direction, along with another reason. I have mentioned the Pad error before and received no response.

As for Apophis, the entire reason why I made him is because he filled in a dark spot of the roleplay. Not sure if I'll have the interest to develop him like I initially did, but for now, I'll just think about him, as he'll probably have much less impact as both a villain to consider about and a development-heavy character if I don't change a majority of his theme.

This is your roleplay, that's guaranteed, but once again, a message of some kind would help me actually think about things. I don't think "with the flow" like some people. I need time. I know literally nothing about this new update, and I have no idea on what to do atm, and even after thinking about it, I still need more time because now I'm really stuck. I'm wondering what I should do with my old characters all of a sudden, and I'm wondering how I should fit in with this change because it's technically a different roleplay. I understand you have things to do, but I really do have dedication in this roleplay, and I would have taken precious time to contributing to it. I don't want to bother people by consistently asking "when is it coming back" or "did you do something about it" because I do remember being told that people have lives after doing that at my early co-GM days in the old RP, so that's why I did not ask about it. I'm just... confused, so to speak, because I feel like a new member to the roleplay all of a sudden.

When I said "it feels abnormally rushed," I'm implying that gigantic push in time really does feel freaky. My old student characters will need made-up development, which is something nearly none of my characters were designed for; I intended on letting their personality changes feel noticeable, but five years is more than enough to skip over everything interesting about my characters.

With that said, I'll cut off all students I have been playing as permanently, along with all other characters excluding Apophis, who might receive the deletion treatment too if I don't come up with anything. I will continue attending the roleplay, but I will treat it as a completely new one. I'm not being rude; I'm trying to be as respectful as possible. I'm in a situation where I feel absolutely everything I built up for is lost, so I need to start fresh to create something new. You can't wash an old bone and call it new, after all.

I have a silly question. When picking a supernatural being that has multiple stereotypes or versions, like a vampire or werewolf, do we have creative freedom on what versions we choose as long as they are approved? Or do we have to follow a specific version? I'm not asking if I can play any sparkling vampires, but I am just wondering if there are any race specific traits that exist in this world for such races.

Normal angel, archangel, dark angel and fallen angel are the four I remember. For all I know there could have been more.

There are certain developed 'traits'/'histories' for certain races. Like, Angels. I tend to be the one that spearheads that as the RP deals heavily with Angels vs. Demons as well, namely Michael vs. Lucifer now. If you post it up and we approve, it's kosher by all means. If not, we're willing to work with you to make it work, so no problems. You won't be left out in the dark.

However, I would like to make a note to everyone that I do not plan for this RP to have a toooooooon of RPers. I'm not going to say a number as that tends to bum people out, making them not want to join, but those of you that ask if it's still open, -points at @TheHangedMan - Posting here does not guarantee you a spot in the RP. When the OP goes up, which with any hope should be soon, the first post you make in that OOC will grab a slot for you and whenever I deem necessary, I will close off submissions. They can, and probably will open up again after that so feel free to stick around and hang out OOC, or just watch to see what happens. If there's someone who wants me to ping them when a slot opens up, I'm kosher for doing that to, just let me know when it closes off and I'll put you on a list.
