"Who said my powers could help?" Roxy asked him curiously. She honestly didn't know how she could help him beyond knowing the facility really well. Especally considering the way Vlad had her powers bogged down. "I don't see how my power can help you. So really there isn't any point in telling you what I can do." she wasn't sure that she Woukd have helped him if she could. After all there wasn't anything to gain from it.

"Well, if I don't know what you can do, how should I know what you should do" he said laughin.
Then, he came closer to her, right hand always in the wall, and lowers good voice, a plastered smile on his face .
"Besides, I don't know if you think you are not capable to help, but your collar begs to differ. No matter how sadistic Doc is, I don't think he would throw a bunch of people with superpowers in this crapper to restrict their abilities. I haven't seen anyone else yet, but I do believe we are the only ones they feared enough to restrict. So how about you help yourself and tell me your powers, Superwoman?"

Roxy snorted. "You're restricted because ypu could escape this place and while we all 'volunteered' to be part of the program I think most of us are seriously reconsidering our choice. I'm restricted because Vlad and my father are asshole." she told him. She doubted that her shadows could do jack sit to help them with the mission. But she admitted, if only to herself, that she wasn't the smartest person in the group. "I manipulate shadows."

Deus almost laughed at this comment. "That!s funny; apparently, I 'volunteered' here because my father was not enough of an asshole. But still, are the other prisoners also physically restricted? I don't think so. "
He stopped for a bit, considering her powers. "And it's not like you would be unable to escape without your restrictions, if shadows are your thing. Of course, it all boils down to how much you're really restricted. What can you do with the collar on? "

Roxy shrugged. "I can create almost anything out of shadows. The items aren't as strong as the really things but they work similarly." She created a chair out of the shadows around them and sat on it. "I can also travel through shadows. Which is why I have the collar. To keep me from going where Vlad doesn't want me to go. Like out of the facility."

The room he opened the door to was a science lab. One wall was covered with monitors. Most of the monitors displayed some sort of formula. There were letters and numbers. In the middle of the room two sciences were going over notes at a table. They looked up at Ezekiel when he entered but quickly returned to their work. The scientist were typical science nerd. Skinny men with glasses and lab coats. Alone another wall there were machines for testing. Along the third wall held cages with animals in them. Most of the animals were of the smaller variety rabbits, mice, birds, snakes, ect.

The large young man quickly closed his mouth, thwarting any instinctive attempt to communicate with the scientists. He will probably not have more than one chance to get useful information from them, so even his first words would have to be considered seriously.

He slowly walked into the middle of the room, in a non-threatening yet dominant fashion. He knew his build would make anyone smaller than him want to unconsciously follow him, but even that illusion was quick to break.

"Hey." He said to one of the scientists that did not have anything corrosive or explosive in his hands. "I'm looking for the library, to get some knowledge. Mind pointing me in the right direction?" His voice was polite but not friendly. He meant business.

"Hmmm, interesting " Deus said, as the shadow chair dispersed, and they kept moving on. "So, even though your ability to shadow jump is restricted, you are still free to manipulate shadows,in your liking. Sounds useful enough for me."
He smiled as he glanced what looked like a control panel in the other side of the hall. He could not be sure yet -night vision was not one of his strong spots- but it was similar enough to make his heart pumping in expectation . "If that offer for the cuffs is still on, Shadowgirl, now's a good time. "

Roxy supposed so but she couldn't see how. While she could make just about anything she wanted to what she made wasn't as good as the real thing so it was of little use to her. She smirked. She looked up to the camera "Give me your hand." She told him. Vlad would punish her if he caught her picking the boy's locks but what he didn't see might not get her into trouble.

The scientist look at each other then at Ezekiel. "Which library are you looking for? Each floor has one. Each is dedicated to different types of knowledge. This floor's library is on DNA, Splicing, and Genes." He answered. "The library is down the light blue hall on the other side of the building. It is quite as ways from here. Which can be something of a hassle sometimes.

"There you go" Deus said as he pulled his hands off the wall and handed them over to the girl, while trying to keep his balance. "I do know it will make things harder, but I do think it would suit us both if you could do this while we're walking. Oh, and also if you could show me a little shadow trick over our hands while doing it. Something that will look like a demonstration."

Roxy rolled her eyes. She accepted his hands. Then he pulled him into the shadows. "Stay right beside me and we shouldn't fall out of the shadows." she told him. She walked and worked on the lock. It was hard to both. One wrong step and they would fall out of the shadows. He didn't want that until she got the cuffs undone. The cuffs were old school. Which was good because it meant he oukd under them quickly.

"Very well,milady. Where you go,I follow" Deus replied while bowing down to kiss her hand. Not that the extra coverage he provided with this trick really mattered-the girl really worked in the shadows like she was one herself- but he had seen the kind of technology Doc was having his eggheads work with, and if he still planned on keeping a gang of teenage genetically-engineered killing machines without a single infrared cam or synthetic aperture radar, he was clearly stupid despite his intellect.
"I can only guess shadow manipulation comes with night vision. Describe me what you see in the hallway" he whispered while in this position.

The flashdrive was rather impressive. It had over 100g of memory. Some of it was already taken but most of it was free to use. Felice would be able to put a lot of information on it.

"The same thing we saw before we stepped into the shadows. The only difference is that there is no color and the sound is muted in the shadows." She explained as she worked. Suddenly the handcuffs came unlocked. "There you go. Anything else. I won't be able to hold the shadows much longer."

Deus let out a sigh. "I kinda meant if you could describe me what's ahead, because I cannot be sure I see everything. Anyways, I guess we can figure it out by ourselves. Let's roll" he whispered as he walked off the shadows, while keeping the unlocked cuffs to his hands as if nobody ever touched them.

Roxy stumbled. Sweat beaded her forehead. She was tired. She had pushed the limits of her power just now. She didn't mind but she hated being weak. She hoped that her companion wouldn't notice. She knew it wasntnlikely though. How could heck not notice? She hoped the other were finding something useful. She lead him dwn the hall to one of the less guarded computers. It was considered. A public port so they wouldn't get much without setting off alarms.

"Whoo, an actual computer. Better than I expected, Shadowgirl" he said, satisfied to have proper tools to work with for fucking once.
"You just stand here and search for cameras, guards, anything that could blow us off." She could use the rest; she looked ready to pass out . "Damn, shadow manipulation must be hard " he thought. Well, he would probably exhaust himself too while working this computer out.
He took a seat and checked it out. The computer was connected to a public port ;that was to be expected, but it also did not even include the option to log in. After checking out the box itself, however, he noticed a proceeded electrical signature of the camera he followed to here ; maybe it was part of another system interconnecting, but knew way or another the camera did indeed connect to this computer, and therefore the computer did connect to the main network.
That's all he needed.
He opened the console log and started typing a piece of code he seemed to have learnt by heart , then run the program he had input. Then, he put his hand to the USB drive port and a series of sparks seemed to be flinged into it.
If he had run it correctly, the whole procedure should send a small security ping to every computer not logged to the encrypted network for the last 20 minutes three times.
He turned to the girl with a smirk. "For my next trick, I'll need some help from the audience. Pass me that digital map I handed you, will ya?"

The fact that some of the memory was already taken was intriguing already, though he wasn't sure how much time he would have to go through it. Setting a few files on the computer to download onto the drive, he created a couple of folders with basic names for organization's sake and even created a new one for the data already in it. He made sure to name it something inconspicuous and hide it within a chain of other folders filled with play scripts and notes on choreography, hoping that it would at least take some time to identify what the device had been used for before should it ever fallout of his possession. Changing the name of the drive itself as well only took a moment as well, and while he doubted that it would fool anyone trying hard enough, he figured that it might buy him a little extra time should it ever end up being checked.

Once it had been messed with to his temporary satisfaction, he finally looked through the files to see exactly what it was that had already been taking up space, a bit surprised that he had gotten this much time. He had been expecting that he would need to take care of this another time with another computer, but it seemed that he had lucked out. Just a couple of clicks, and already he could see...

Merda.

What was that? The computer had just done something, something with a noise, and while the short boy honestly was only so good with technology, even he could tell that it wasn't something he had control over. Had they found out that he was possibly using the computer for something he shouldn't? He didn't want to stick around to find out. Quickly closing up everything he could, he ejected the drive and hurriedly stashed it. That was clearly all he could have for now, so it was probably time to pick up his other materials and move on.

Roxy rolled her eyes and leaned against the wall. She was tired. "I know your new but you seem smart to me. I doubt you missed the fact that there are cameras every five feet or so and guards every twenty feet. So I really wont have to look that hard."She commented sarcastically. She didn't know what he wanted her to look out for. They were out in the open no doubt Vlad was watching them to see how deep they got themselves into trouble.

When Felice opened the door there was a guard standing there. "Mr. Vlad wants to know what you are up to. You have been in this way longer then you needed to search this room."

"Oh, just give me that goddamn map " he growled and snatched it out of her hand; he could not wait to be over with this. He then proceeded to stick one end to a USB port definetely not supposed to be used in any of the ways it had been used today.
"What stands do blatantly obvious to even me as these cameras does not bother me ; what concerns me are the things I do not see. It is obvious you are also pretty smart, and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see you know your way around hidden stuff " he said while wiring at the console log again. He dared not try to break through the security barrier on his own and risk Stewart's attention , but the map was security-grade, and therefore should have rights of its own in the system, "even though I do happen to know a thing or two about orbital mechanics " he finished as he got another calculated jolt into the drive. This should broadcast the map through the computers that broadcast the previous ping, and his location ; was he lucky, he would also have gotten through the button for receivers to share their own location.

Ah, so there was still someone who "cared" about his well-being. Good to know. The fact that they were timing their presence in specific room was irritating and suspicious, though. "Questo dove essere un tipo di indizio?" (Is that supposed to be some kind of hint?) He raised a skeptical eyebrow at the new intruder, but considered that he was lucky to have already been on the way to the door instead of still on the computer, or he would have had a [i]really fun time explaining that.

Expecting that the guard still wanted some kind of answer, he raised the broom at his side and rolled his eyes. "Il pavimento era un fiasco. Migliora la pulizia, ah? Non è mi lavoro." (Floor was a mess, get better at cleaning, will you?)

Out of the corner of his eye, he could see some sort of faint change in light coming from the desk, but he really had no time to investigate as long as the scientist's pet dog was still around. If it turned out to be a security message, however, he would either shut down the computer if he could get the guy to leave, or just run. There were plenty of other rooms to check, and not enough time to waste on punishment again.

"I understood only about also of what you said. Yes I know quiet abut about this facility. Like you have about five minutes before guard change and someone notices us where we have no business being. "Roxy told him. She didn't want to get in trouble but knew there was little she could do to avoid it. "The thing I've learned is Vlad likes to give us just enough rope to hang ourselves."

"You need to go to Mr. Vlad's office. He will decide if you need to be punished. I can't imagine why ou thought you needed to be in the drama office or what you hoped to fine. But it is my job to keep you out of trouble. Let's go." the guard told him.
