The dark-haired boy nodded his thanks as he took the items Aaron had found and mixed them in a bowl. Once he had what seemed like the right amount, he placed the fish in a glass dish and covered it with the mixture before sticking it in the oven. Like he had thought, simple enough. He only had to take it out at the right time and serve it. While it cooked, however, he picked up his tablet once more. "If you want to get some dishes out and set them up on the counter, we can serve everything shortly. I'll clean up the counters and check on the rest."

Setting about the task, he stopped during one trip to the sink to take a look at Katherin and Brigit's progress. The salad seemed to be coming together nicely, he noticed. And the ice...at least, it looked like it was going well...

"I believe the salad are done except the dressing but I think we should leave that off so that everyone can chose their dressing for themselves. The ice just needs to be shaved or something to make it less solid. That Shoukd only take a couple of minutes."Katherin updated the others on her and Brigit's process.

Kyo nodded, though he quickly realized how unhelpful that probably was considering the situation. Tapping on the tablet again, he confirmed the approval in another message. "That sounds fine. The rest should be finished soon as well. If you need help with the ice, I can assist until the fish is done cooking."

"I am already on it, it wouldn't take much time." Brigit played out from the tablet as she got to shaving the ice on the grater. Applying just enough power to do it smoothly, she was done in almost no time. Seven perfect cups of shave ice ready.

"We have an assortment of squashes that I found. Mix up what you'll like and we are ready to go." she typed in and let that hang.

@ZB1996jack began to reflect on what had happened earlier today, people were nearly crushed, others got frostbite and jack even angered someone, then again he had probably angered almost everyone but that person seemed to stand out

Jack finally came to the conclusion that he should apologize to Arron, but he had a hard time working up the nerve to do such a task, eventually he found the courage to go and apologize.Jack looked around until he found Arron and walked over to right his wrongs

Aaron, while he had been preparing for the meal, working as hard as was need and requested, was approached by the boy Jack, who, upon meeting, had definitely not befriended.

"Oh, you," Aaron said. "So you're apologizing to me. You're sorry, you say. Then you admit that what happened today was fully your fault, and it would be perfectly acceptable to punch you in the face, back then. Those jokes of yours were inappropriate and offensive, Jack, and you should have known this, but you didn't, and played the part of the bully and fool. Do you have any idea how many of us have lived, and what sort of things we have gone through? I feel like you don't. But I'm not the one you should be apologizing to. The ones you should be apologizing to are those you insulted, who were the ones that were really effected. But, Jack, if you promise never to insult one of us again with your derogatory jokes again, I'll try to be your friend."

Jess continues cooking the rice, it has finished boiling by now. She drains all the water from the pot and lets the rice cool. "Kyo, how is this?" Jess asks, presenting the rice.

Kyo nodded again out of habit as Katherin and Brigit announced that they were about finished. "Alright, I'll check on the fish and hopefully we should be ready." As he went to find some oven mitts so he could remove the fish from the oven, he soon found himself turning to Jess as he heard her asking about the rice. "It looks good to me. Well done." Giving her a small smile, he eventually located the mitts and brought out the fish, setting it on a potholder while he picked up a fork to check the texture.

"It looks like this is done. Let's get some dishes and we can serve these together."

"No, I won't hit you, Jack." Aaron said. "I hope you can stay as yourself without offending any of us. Given time, we could even become friends. What I really want is for the time spent here to be peaceful for everyone, so that we can forget what happened outside. I'm going to go help get those plates. If you're done with yours, perhaps you can come to."

Aaron gave a slight smile. After that, he would head out towards the plates. He set them up as commanded.
