Yes... because someone who is disciplining someone who outright talked back to the highest ranking official on the base and insulted them to their face is automatically a Torture Wank Mary Sue. Yeah, that makes perfect sense. -Shrugs-

You are right, this was a clusterfuck the moment Ian opened his mouth and spoke back to a higher official. This is no one's fault, but Ian's, who should have kept his trapped shut in the first place.

In any military standing, no matter how insane, ruthless, or deranged someone is, you usually don't talk back to them. Ever play say tactical strategy games and see how the ruler on the other side is, and how if someone talks back they get executed or gun downed immediately? Yeah, that is basically what is happening here, except Ian is being given a chance to live.

Raijin, you brought this upon your own character and affected those around you, and this is in fact a mature RP. Now deal with the consequences like a true roleplayer should.

Was Serah's breakdown caused by a trauma triggered by hearing the gunshots? It seemed to come a bit out of backfield in the post itself. Otherwise Serah's stuff has been fun to follow.

I feel that the torture is discipline and not overkill, because the rp is set in a desperate time. Which desperate times call for desperate measures. That is probably why they are using children, as weapons of detructions for the survival of humanity. And the children mostly likely have to be combat ready in a short amount of time, so punishment has to be way more extreme than normal. So Lorenzo is in-charge, because no sane person would be able to do this work.

Also I will be getting up a post after I read all the new posts.

...To be frank? You could take him out of the RP and nothing changes. You're not really doing anything with him, he's just kind of there. No interaction, personality, nothing. Maybe you should try talking to the team more and establish a bit of a personality? Right now Zan's probably, and I'm not trying to insult you here, the most boring chara in the RP.

I'd like to see a bit more personality from Zan, since up to this point he's not done much besides train and follow orders. It would be interesting to see him try to open up a conversation with the others, or otherwise interact a bit more.

He isn't the type to talk anymore. His only reason to live is to fight the Cruxi, which doesn't help either. He probably would only do that if he was ordered to.

Well I will say one thing about the whole ordeal; it certainly got everyone active today! I'd say that's a good sign, if anything.

I'd ask how Ant's doing in maintaining people's interest, but seeing as people are ignoring his multiple attempts at getting any sort of reaction going (ehem... @Tancuras), and how most everybody else hates his musical stylings, he seems sufficiently douchey enough.

I like the contrast Antwon brings to the rest of the cast. His way of being jerky isn't overdone, and is actually amusing at a couple of parts.

Elora would have responded a bit more to him if it weren't for him walking away and exploding kneecaps happening.
