Rin Reikan, Little Ice Minx

From Mia nearly burning off Rin’s clothes to Megumi addressing Mia about nearly burning Rin’s clothes off, they would walk along a snow-ridden path. Rin, even though she had packed a change of clothes, still felt the coldness from the snow and the wind that aided. Thankfully, Megumi gave Rin another tattered cloak to at least help her get warm. Still, she would get Mia back for what she did.

Before they would trek further along the path, Megumi would explain to the genin that when the time came for the plan, Megumi would chirp like a bird. Rin found that odd, but everything about Megumi-sensei was odd. From the way she spoke, the way she walked, and all the way to the way she dressed. So Rin decided not to even think about how odd that plan-of-action sounded and just to roll with it. Besides, Rin was good at following orders when it really counted.

The next few minutes were silent as all hell. Nobody even said a single word, not Megumi, not Rin -- not anybody. The only sounds that any of them heard was that of the whistling wind. Well, that and the sounds of the snow being pressed down by the three sets of the genin’s feet.

“Looks like we’re almost there,” Rin said.

As they got to the front of the Samurai Bridge, Megumi would announce that the Samurai would undoubtedly be arriving soon and thus she clapped her hands to have everyone take their places. Just then, Megumi chirped and as if on instinct, Rin fainted face-first. This better work. Rin hoped that she wouldn’t act like a fool for no reason.

Rin couldn’t see anything as she had forced her eyes closed, but her ears were wide open. Adding to that, Megumi then started to shake Rin’s body violently. Rin could feel her neck jerking back and forth. On the outside, she had such an expressiveness face, but on the inside she had it in her right mind to forsake the façade and punch Megumi right then and there. Nobody manhandles her like that and gets away with it. But of ocurse, Rin withheld that desire once more for the mission.

Rin heard armor clanking against the stone makings of the bridge and that meant the Samurai had arrived and Megumi called for help as part of the plan. There were exchanges of words. Megumi was pleading them to help her and her sister Riara(Rin) and the Samurai didn’t waste any time. They automatically asked how Megumi got into the Land of Iron. Megumi of course avoided from answering and simply redirected the attention to how her sister fell unconscious. When that didn’t work, Megumi tried explaining that they were on their way to visit their father. Nice one.. However, that didn’t work. The Samurai then responded by saying that not a single family member is allowed to visit their Samurai family and then he deduced that they were all shinobi.

Shit.. Plan was ruined. They were made.

Megumi then tweeted again and Rin stood up, the white snow falling from her fair skin. Following that, Megumi summoned(?) a Silverback Gorilla and it proceeded to bound its chest and show its teeth while taking out a few of the samurai, sending some of them off the bridge and to a fall of their deaths. Megumi then ordered the genin’s to handle the samurai while she secured them a path to the village.

“Well Mia, Geichi…Gorilla,” Rin said as she stepped forward, “time to show these samurai why we’re the best genin of the Hidden Leaf,” She proudly said. As she leapt forward, stopping after one meter, Rin inhaled, “Fūton: Daitoppa!” She exhaled, releasing a gust of wind from her mouth. This simple yet powerful gust of wind sent about five of the samurai over the edges of the bridge, allowing them to join their fellow samurai who were sent down below just a minute ago.

Jaakuna Sawada, The Sundance Kid VS Kapora, The Counter

After Shin’s fight ended(brutally mind you), Jaakuna got a bad feeling in the pit of his stomach. Not as bad as when he saw that Bandaged Man fight, but definitely up there. There was just this ominous feeling he got when he looked at who he was set to fight. This guy looked like the devil’s reject. A skin head in every sense of the word. His bald head had so many tattoos that Jaakuna couldn’t make out his face at parts. When the numbers were called, Jaakuna got up. He shook his head, slapping himself on the cheek a couple of times, and proceeded to walk to the fighting ring. He looked back at Fujitora and the others with a cheeky grin. It was false, but he didn’t want them to know that he was in a bad way. By the time he turned his head and faced forward, Jaakuna was inside it and the force field came up.

The bald man was about 6'5" in height, and his build made him all the more intimidating. He wa wearing a brown coat however it lacked the sleeves, exposing his massive muscles. Though it seemed to be just for show, the fact that he was here debunked the idea of a pushover. He kept his eyes closed as he entered the field, only to open them in order to peer down at his shorter foe. To him, Jaakuna didn't seem like much, small fry as the big lads would say around here. As usual, Kapora didn't say anything and simply took the typical battle position. Because his opponent was shorter and seemed to lack experience give his age, he'd simply gesture the teen to come at him first. It was the minimum he could do before going full berserk.

”You’re going to regret that, Baldo! Jaakuna said taking stance. Rushing forward in a dash, Jaakuna gained a meter per step, his eyes were fixated solely on the tall, bald man. As he was just three meters away from the man, Jaakuna jumped off his left foot and proceeded to half-flip his body. Airborne, Jaakuna’s body was in a position where his right leg was leveled horizontally, but his left leg was up in a vertical way. When gravity would bring Jaakuna down naturally, he would bring his left leg down for an axe-kick that, if successful, would come down on the top of the bald man’s shiny cueball of a head.

With Jaakuna's insult toward Kapora's appearance, the tall man didn't appear as calm as he used to. Exhaling from his nose, he saw the arrogant young boy rush at him without much thought put into his actions. Keeping his stance, he waited for his opponent to strike, and when he did he'd react. Taijutsu, and pretty strong too, but evidently not too difficult to anticipate. He'd have to jump pretty high to execute a damaging blow like this, making this all too easy for Kapora to block. Simply lifting his right arm up in a defensive way, Jaak's leg would hit against the chain wrapped around the man's arm. At first, he'd barely feel anything other than the hard metal, but he'd quickly acknowledge pain as spikes emerged from the chain, stabbing the leg in multiple areas. They weren't very long, barely piercing the boy's muscles, but long enough to cause worrying bleeding. The bald man would then proceed to preparing his free arm for a strike in react to what Jaakuna would do in response to this defensive maneuver.

Feeling those metal spikes dig mildly deep into his left shin, Jaakuna endured the pain that it had caused him. By bending his upper-body back just slightly, Jaakuna’s leg would tug off of the metal chain spikes that had dug into its flesh, blood dripping onto the ground from where Jaakuna’s still airborne body was. Jaakuna extended both arms towards the ground as his body would then be pointed head-first. By doing a simple handstand followed by backflip, Jaakuna gained a two meter distance between him and the Bald Man.

I’m going have to be a bit careful when attacking. Those chains could cause a lot of problems real quick. Jaakuna looked at the Bald Man for a few seconds before taking off in another forward run. As he ran, Jaakuna’s arms raised. His hands would form three hand seals and not anymore than a second later, his chakra began to build around him, showing a radiant golden form. Jaakuna had activated his Ryusei(Meteor) technique. When he used it before, there was smoke surrounding the ring, so no one knew who he was, but it was undoubtedly everyone knew exactly who Jaakuna was now. Jaakuna stepped off his right foot this time, Jaakuna motioned his body in a horizontal position, arms extended outward in front of him. Accelerating his body at fast speeds, Jaakuna, at this point, was like a speeding, golden bullet poised to strike at the Bald Man’s central core.

Some special ninjutsu was being used, something that made the kid glow and made his chakra levels spike. Kapora's first guess would be something akin to a power boost or an element coat, but it didn't look like any element he had seen. Most of the audience likely knew what this was but the bald man wasn't too savvy on those. Nonetheless, with Jaakuna attempting a strike, the man's concealed arms weaved hand seals in such a way that it didn't actually seem visible while behind the coat. With that done, both his exposed hands were coated with a thick layer of earth and rock, but he didn't strike just yet.

With Jaakuna's augmented speed and the extra weight in Kapora's hands, the man wasn't arrogant enough to think he'd deliver a hit so easily. Instead, he'd let Jaakuna attack, only to have his arm be caught at the level of the forearm by two massive hands coming out of his coat. He was holding on tight with his naturally high strength and the power of two arms, so he could deliver a downward punch with his enhanced earth hands. Needless to say, this kind of punch could break a few bones.

Just seconds before his attack would get blocked, Jaakuna brought back one of his arms closer to his chest while the other would get grabbed by the Bald Man’s large hand. Just as the earth-covered fist would come down towards Jaakuna’s upper-back, Jaakuna would slightly twist his body to turn about ninety degrees to the point that he was now facing the large fist coming down at him. At this point, Jaakuna increased the circulation of chakra in his arm that was to his chest, but solely focusing the increase at his own fist. Then, as quickly as he could, Jaakuna extended that arm vertically as it met with the Bald Man’s own. Though the chakra surrounding Jaakuna’s fist was a major increase of what it was before, it still took all Jaakuna had to just keep it at bay. It was a struggle just to keep the man’s raw strength from crushing Jaakuna’s sternum.

With hits clashing, Kapora's earth fist would collide with a Kekkei Genkai enhanced counter strike. They both proved to deliver strong blows. Forcing his fist in deeper, the earth coating would quickly shatter, destroying the enlarged fist in the process and letting the man grab Jaakuna's wrist in the process now that his hand was free. With the chain wrapped on that same arm, the lower end of that chain wrapped on his palm would inevitably impale Jaak's wrist in this circumstance. Two hands on one arm and one hand deeply planted in the other, Jaak only had his feet to get away from this next strike: Kapora had his free hand deliver an earth enhanced punch to Jaak's torso level all the while never letting go of his arms.

With both hands being held, one just being held in position and the other by the wrist impaled by those same metal spikes, Jaakuna silently cursed himself as he fell for the same trick yet again. How could he be so stupid? He needed to think on his feet now because they were the only thing left for him to use since both hands were not available at the moment. Then, just as he was racing possible plans through his mind, Jaakuna saw the free arm the Bald Man coming down to his torso. Using quick thinking once more, Jaakuna used the only thing he had left free and it was his legs. By extending one of his legs, Jaakuna expelled fire chakra from it as it would clash with the fist that was coming down. It was a linear, thin line of fire, but the speed and strength of it would be enough to not only melt away the earth covering his hand, but the sudden surprise would probably catch him off guard. Using that advantage, Jaakuna would break free from the hold, ripping his wrist flesh from the chains and the grip of his other hand and rolling a meter and a half away from Baldo.

The fire would indeed consume layers of the earth and the force expelled had indeed, derived the punch, allowing Jaakuna to use his enhanced strength to free himself from Kapora's grip. Although the man was angry, he didn't act out of irrationality just yes, the fact that he had a chunk of flesh and a good amount of blood in his hand was a good indicator. After all, people kill themselves by gashing their arms that way and leaving large wounds, how unfortunate that he couldn't rip a little more of the forearm to leave Jaakuna with so little time. Not that he had much without treatment. With this in mind, the brute knew his prey would have a harder time, allowing him to collect himself a little more. All four of his arms crossed and waiting.

Facing his opponent, Jaakuna was now cautious in getting close. He now knew that any close-range attack wouldn’t work out. In addition to that, the two extra arms meant that Jaakuna had half the amount of luck on his side, so he would have to play it long range for a bit. At least until he was able to figure out this guy’s fighting style and pinpoint the weakness in it. Surely a guy like him had a weakness somewhere. It was only a matter of finding it and being able to poise an attack at the right moment.

“Fire Release: Shadow Clone Jutsu!” Jaakuna yelled as he formed a tiger hand seal and in a poof of smoke, two shadow clones of Jaakuna appeared on the left and right of him. As all three of them ran towards Baldo, fire chakra began to surround them all. In that same instant, they all ran around Baldo, surrounding him in a triangle formation. All the while they did that, they were forming five hand seals and the last one being tiger, “Fire Release: Great Fireball Jutsu!” Each of them said simultaneously, inhaling, and then exhaling three giant fireballs at Baldo. At the range they were fired at, the escape window was very limited.

The boy was about a meter away, making things all too simple for the bald man. The chain on his forearm would unwrap itself almost by itself before being hurled toward the clones as they were birthed, pursuing a whipping motion to catch them as they would try to place themselves in a tactical manner. They were clones after all, making the job not as difficult as actually hitting the kid. Nonetheless, their attempt to make fireballs would either be foiled before they could even get a correct position or at the moment they'd actually have to make hand seals. To top it off, Kapora's lower hands wouldn't be left idle, slacking wasn't in his nature. Though as he kept his upper arms active, his lower were slightly slower in making hand seals. But it wasn't hard to get this technique done, as the Earth Dragon emerged from the man's right. A giant, serpent-like dragon of earth and rock sponging any stray fireball his whip would possibly miss. It would however simply surround the man for the time being as its durability served as a good shield.

One clone was done away before even reaching the bald man and the other was done away from the whip, all there was left was the real Jaakuna who had used the Great Fireball Jutsu, but it was blocked by a massive Earth Dragon as it acted as a shield. Jaakuna’s eyes lit up with anger. Each attempt at an offense was met with a stronger defense. Nothing Jaakuna did was working. He was almost at his breaking point. Fuck it. Jaakuna would abandon physical attacks. He would try something else. “You must be pretty afraid to take a chance. You’re not doing much other than blocking. What’s the matter? Are you afraid that if you leave that spot, you’ll mess up? Come on baldo! Come at me. Show me that you’re more than just a fucking retarded blockhead.” Jaakuna had resorted to name calling. Truly, he was at the end of his ropes.

Jaakuna was getting provocative, something that quickly irritated Kapora. The idea that his opponent will soon become weak and quickly die from blood loss wasn't going to be strong enough to resist finishing the job himself. He'd gesture his dragon to charge into the young lad with it mouth open, ready to crush him in a gargantuan mass of heavy stone and dirt. All the while the man gritted his teeth while preparing a whipping strike toward the direction Jaakuna would try to dodge if he were wise enough to not directly engage with the monolith striking him.

It’s working. Jaakuna’s plan to get that guy off his game just slightly was working as seen by his facial expressions when Jaakuna reverted to his profanity. It was also seen as how Mr. Clean had gestured his Earth Dragon to go at Jaakuna, mouth opened and poised to strike at The Sundance Kid. He cracked a smile as he took a stance with his left leg forward, knee bent, and the right leg straight supporting his core. He extended both arms in widespread, straight way, each having fire chakra expelled from it. One arm was facing the dragon, to which the chakra would go inside the dragon and reduce it to rubble in a matter of seconds. The other arm, was pointed towards whipping chain to at least deflect it. Ideally, it would be sent back at Mr. Clean at the same speed(or higher) than he himself had whipped it.

With the earth charging at Jaakuna heated and broken, the most heated parts which were the center of his attacks charged in his direction, following the monster's momentum as it crumbled. Most of it was rubble, but the most affected was lava charging right at Jaak accompanied by a huge amount of dust and random debris befalling him. Kapora became red in anger, how did this brat dare to do such a ridiculous act? He kept insulting the man by trying to prove his worth toward his favorite ability, and it frustrated him. Because Jaakuna was surrounded by smoke and rubble, Kapora couldn't see him yet, but it didn't prevent him from being on his guard, making sure every side of his being was covered. Perhaps his opponent was dead anyway, so he refrained from charging in.

Jaakuna didn’t anticipate the amount of debris around. He dodged a good number of them. A few of the chunks of earth would hit his body, but it didn’t do much damage. Over the course of a half of a minute, he had gained a good couple of bruises on his shoulders.

Amidst the rubble and dust gathering around Jaakuna’s general location, this provided the Sundance Kid with the perfect opportunity. Since Mr. Clean wasn’t coming at him, it provided him a chance to finally get a hit on him and not the other way around. From the smoke and debris, there came a single kunai knife with a exploding tag attached to the end of it. Jaakuna had thrown it towards one of Kapora’s legs. It didn’t matter if it stuck into his leg or if it was deflected. Jaakuna had made it so that upon physical contact, the next three seconds would ignite an explosion. Let’s see him get out of dodge soon enough for this.

Things were getting quiet, about thirty seconds passed. Good, he was going to waste his time planning things as his arm didn't get any better. But then a shadow traveled through the smoke and deformed the cloud, a kunai was emerging. Using his whip, he'd easily slap the singular kunai, only to have the paper bomb revealed as it flipped to the side. Kapora's eyes widened in surprised, his lower arms forming hand seals but they weren't for defense. He only had his trusty chain to defend himself. The paper bomb seemed ready to explode, and as such he'd simply pinch a part of the chain with his thumb and index in order to spin the thing like a fan. This wouldn't prevent him from being pushed back, but it would prevent the hot flames to hit sensitive spots of his body and debris from piercing him. Though, the shock would easily destabilize the spinning motion, damage was minimal and the pushback got him closer to the wall but away from the small cloud of smoke created from the kunai.

He exhaled from his nose, losing patience once more. But once again, he couldn't see his enemy, and he wasn't going to charge in without an enemy in sight. He was completely capable of doing it if there enemy had an obvious trap set up, but someone of his level wouldn't blindly go in darkness.

Whatever happened, Jaakuna heard an explosion, which surely meant that the exploding tag went off at some point. Jaakuna knew that eventually the smoke gathering from the explosion and the previous debris would fade away. So, if he wanted to get any sort of attack to make its way to Kapora without even the slightest chance of him catching wind of it first, then Jaakuna had to act fast. And besides, the blood dripping from his wrist, while just drops, would eventually be enough to cause Jaakuna a lot of problems. As Jaakuna looked at the smoke around him, he noticed that it was about fifty percent visibility if one were to be just right outside of it, so Jaakuna just had to assume that he had just a minute before it would clear. Given that, Jaakuna had maybe two or three chances to land a surprise attack.

"You must be getting annoyed. Can't see me, so your only choice is to wait for me to come to you." Jaakuna's voice traveled through the smoke and to Kapora, "I bet you want to just come in here and join me. Why don't you? I'm obviously not strong enough to take you on in a direct manner." He was trying to bait him, play to whatever sense of pride he had or whatever prevented Kapora from charging in head-first. Little did he know, Jaakuna had created two Fire Shadow Clones when he was talking, both of them spread throughout the smoke-covered area. Should he fall for the bait, fireballs would be launched at him at close range. Now, Jaakuna simply waited for him to take it or not.

"Heh, heh. Brat. Weakling too, speak a lot. You die anyway." The man spoke for the first time, but with a strange accent and broken language. A smirk formed on his face but it was to cover the anger held within. He was surely very pissed, especially when he'd hear distinct footsteps in synch with shadows forming in the slowly degrading smoke in the air. With his jutsu started a few moments ago, his four hands were now equipped with earth enhancement, of course it didn't prevent him from using his chain as he kept it over the earth layer. He charged at the first shadow, the shadow clone closest to his right and went full speed to deliver a powerful punch. The earth enhancement would be a marvelous defense in case of a counter attack, but he thought of it more as a useful finisher. Either way, he had four enhanced earth fists that could foil Jaakuna's plans at any time.

He purposely let the chain drag down and stretch toward his previous position. He was keen on trapping his opponent if he were to do something fishy from afar. But right now, all he wanted was some good ol' clone bashing.

“You think so? You’re funny. You should be a comedian.” Jaakuna said, knowing fully that Kapora had stepped into the smoke-covered area and had done away with one of the clones. It mattered not since the other one would ignite a flaming ball towards him at fast speeds. Little did he know, however that Jaakuna was coming from behind him, kunai with exploding tag in hand and he threw it. At that same time that he did, the fireball would reach him. Either he blocked the kunai or the fireball, but whatever would happen, Kapora would have to react quickly.

The first clone was easy to handle, however the other one seemed to cause trouble. Kapora knew of its location since he had detected the shadows from the get go, but the fire ball was bigger and faster than expected. In a last minute attempt, he used his two left arms as large shields as they held the enhanced earth ability. The fireballs would destroy most of it and leave the man with burnt jeans and shoulders red.

Kapora's rage and impatience had brought him in this ambush, however, and he took a nice stab to the back along with an explosive tag explosion. This propelled him forward and damaged his back pretty badly, third degree burns and ribs taking a toll. Luckily, it was only an explosive tag, and on his back. Then again on a member wouldn't be too bad for him given his unique attributes. He was hurting, but that just fueled his rage. As he got up, he could see Jaakuna's shadow, and luckily for Kapora, the stealth chain was going to be of great benefit. Since Kapora had taken a direct shot, he of course acted as though he was weakened, though not entirely false, his rage compensated. As such, it would be quite sudden when the chain would rapidly slash to Jaakuna's ankles. When hit, it'd wrap around the member and of course impale it. Making the teen his little pet.

Jaakuna surely felt the pain of the chains wrapped around his ankles. While the pain was there and surely it was evident that Jaakuna was in a bad way, this pain didn’t even come close to the anger and wrath his mother put in him some times. That woman can make even the manliest man feel like a little girl. “Is that all you got, Baldo!” Jaakuna said, him trying to antagonize Kapora more. “Your chains feel like rabbit kisses compared to the lectures my mom gives me.” Jaakuna, through all of the pain, laughed loudly, aimed towards Kapora. This is good. My words anger him. I can use this.

Kapora breathed hard, both from the pain and the anger. Though, he could look on the bright side, he still held a large advantage on his opponent. He wasn't bleeding out (burn wound) nor did he have enough ninjutsu to be wasting as much as his opponent. The benefits of being more physical oriented came from there, supposedly. With an endeavor coming only from spite, he pulled with all his might on the chain, the grip tightening and the blades slashing through the muscles and tendons connected to the foot. Jaakuna was being pulled at full speed toward the man. All the while, as he went through the dust, he could see Kapora weaving very familiar hand seals. As he quickly weaved them, the same dragon from before emerged from the earth before Kapora, shielding him from a possible counter and launching itself directly to his now submitted opponent. He was going all in, and he was taking no prisoners.

The rough texture of the ground scraped the backside of Jaakuna's body as he was being dragged by Kapora's raw, physical strength. JAakuna couldn't tell exactly what was in front of him, but soon a brown dragon rose from the earth like it had done before and just as it had done before, it came forth to Jaakuna with a ferocity that was fear-inspiring. Not knowing what else to do, Jaakuna formed hand seals. Fire Release: Great Fireball Jutsu!" Jaakuna said, expelling fire chakra from his mouth. This time, instead of it taking a fireball shame, Jaakuna’s jutsu would now take the shame that of flowing flames, like a flamethrower. The flames would make partially graze the rough, rocky exterior of the dragon and partially make their way into the mouth of the dragon. Parts of it would burn away, chunks of rock and earth dropping out. This was still going on as Jaakuna had been pulled by Kapora.

Once again, a mass of rock befell the lad, but this time he didn't have a means to dodge it, allowing some pretty nasty debris to hit his already damaged body. But it didn't stop Kapora from ripping the boy out of the dust cloud and drag him in for a finishing earth enhanced punch to the torso. Kapora was going to get what he wanted, crushing that boy for the outrageous things he had said.

Airborne now, Jaakuna saw the rock fist come in for a final punch(Jaakuna’s guess). This was his only chance. Jaakuna, with the a dose of his last bit of chakra, surrounded himself in Meteor once more. The aura would not only be strong enough to break Kapora’s grip of Jaakuna’s ankles as the enhanced strength allowed Jaakuna to wiggle out of it, but at the very moment the fist towards him, Jaakuna forced that fist down with precise movements thanks to his capoeira. When the fist would hit the ground, Jaakuna half flipped and as if mirroring his first move, he delivered a hard, all-that-he-had axe kick to Kapora’s skull. All the while, Jaakuna felt immense pain shooting through that same leg. If successful -- which Jaakuna had high hopes that it was -- it would pack enough force to send Kapora’s head crashing into the ground and make a nice head-shaped hole into it. Hopefully this does it.

As the kick came down on Kapora's head, Jaakuna started to smile widely as a large thud sound could be heard when Kapora's large head crashed into the ground. His large body was facedown while his butt was up, arms at the side on top of each other. "Now stay down baldo." Jaakuna would land over Kapora's head, limping and eventually falling to one knee. He was battered up. His back scraped up like a scratching post, his ankles so cut up that he might just had torn his ACL and MCL, and to make matters worse, Jaakuna was hungry as fuck. Jaakuna made his way back to where the others were in a slow limp. It was amazing that Jaakuna was able to walk at all. From the cuts on his ankles to already existing injuries, Jaakuna was probably on his last leg.

As he arrived to the bench where the others were at, Jaakuna gave them a cheeky grin. "Now how's that for a match?" Jaakuna confidently boasted about his win, "Shin, yours was impressive, but you know everyone loves the Sawada's Meteor. GWAHAHA!" He laughed as he took a seat between Paneru and Shin, setting his back against the wall wincing in pain.

With the match finished and Jaak advancing forward to a much darker fate, the announcer proudly presented the current status of the tournament, warning everyone that they were half way already. But they didn't lose any time, the field would fix itself and the next two fighters would be selected. Fujitora would begin to feel a certain tension within him. He didn't want to fight that Psychopath, at least not yet, but at the same time he wanted to know who it was. Plus it was better him than the kids he'd have running around, barely making it through a couple of jutsu and a doll. As exasperated as it made him feel, he was still proud.

The first selective orb fell on the bandaged psycho in question while the other lingered. This moment was the most stressing or everyone, but it'd eventually fall on a tattooed man who seemed to have been in Gozoboro's team as well. He seemed confident, despite knowing the cruelty of the man he was going to face. This was probably going to be one hell of a show.

Takeshi Ruzuzaki

With Saburo Uchiha and Akio Tendou

What seemed what a good idea to Takeshi at the time was no a bad choice, according Saburo, who attempted to 'release' him from a Genjutsu. “Takeshi-kun, please do not do that again. You jeopardized the entire mission when you suddenly took command for no reason. We were fine before hand, denoting that none of us were in immediate danger and we would've been able to escape easily. The Sage of the Six Paths would not confirm that this is a successful leadership mission. Speaking of leadership.. where is Hideyoshi-kun?” Takeshi green eye flickered with slight annoyance...but he was right. He over reacted and some hasty calls, but when your leader of M.I.A, who was going to give them a simple order.

"I'm fine Uchiha-san, i'm not under any genjutsu and i really don't think that my little mishap could have made this mission a loss. Our objective was the get the scroll...or scrolls....." he played with his fake scroll in his hand, still not knowing what was inside it. "You can lay of the sharingan man." he suggested as he cover Saburo's eye with his hand. "But nevertheless, i'll won't make hasty calls like that, what we do is a team decision...I'm sorry."

"With that out of the way.." Takeshi exhaled as he left Limit breaker, he felt a little tired and sluggish "Don't you think that Hideyoshi-taicho: the fact that he hasn't been with us seem a little off?" Takeshi cracked his neck. "Akio-san, did he respond to you at anytime?"

"We'd best keep moving towards Konoha. There's no telling where Hideyoshi is at this moment in space and time, and I would not wish to risk the mission for him. He is, after all, not our mission objective.” Saburo said as Takeshi nodded.

"I would opt to go and find him, he is a comrade after all. But this scroll....." he lowered his head "Hideyoshi-taicho is Jonin, and is capable to handling himself. I would rather complete the mission as well." But that answer did not sit well with him. "But then again...." this was a hard decision. Saburo had start making his way towards the Kumo walls, Takeshi and Akio would follow him, ready to go back home.

But then:

Akio heard the captain over the communication device. "Meet.....me..on the top of the theater building. Bring...medical supplies."

"Well then, looks like our captain is alive...but barely from the sounds of it." Takeshi shook his head "Saburo i know the mission is more important, but the captain said to meet him on the theater rooftops: Orders are orders."

"How do you wanna handle this, Saburo? Akio?" He wouldn't make the call, it be a group decision.

Giichi Uzumaki

He glanced over at Mia, the number one Genin at the academy supposedly. Her name had rung in his ears a couple times but he hadn't the pleasure of meeting her before. Weird, he'd think he would have seen her at least once. Rin never came to school but he looked upon her here and there. Still shivering a bit, he gawked with unfiltered surprise as Mia burned off Rin's clothes.

Quickly, he turned away and waited for her to dress again. A soft pink rested on his cheeks as he refrained from stealing glances at her pale skin.

After the debacle had been settled and the three were back on the mission, Giichi found himself steadily running atop the creaking tree branches. Instinctively, he tried to be quite but his skills weren't up to par. Time and time again he would here the soft tap! of his soles against the wood. I wonder what mom and dad are up to? he mused to himself.

It was a good bit of time before Megumi signaled for them to stop, descend, and subsequently start the show. Rin fell face-first, impressively un-phased by the stinging cold or ground beneath. It conjured a quiet chuckle in his throat. It wasn't long before the intimidating platoon of Samurai marched out on the otherside of the bridge. A band of forty soldiers and all had their katana's at the ready. Giichi hid his own respites about the plan before entering his role.

Knowing himself to be a horrible actor, he quickly dropped down with his back to the Samurai and cradled Rin's head on his lap, hiding her face from view. He sobbed as if he was a sensitive lad who loved his sister dearly. The minutes ticked by as he listened to the situation degenerate into the ruse that it was. Tsk! Crap! Guess the ninja's out of the bag … Oh well, I was tired of pretending anyway.

Megumi spoke mystically, her voice was like the dull edge of a once famed blade. Everyone knew that she was dangerous but just looking at her, you'd think twice about how-so. Giichi stood up and with a harsh pull, yanked off his tattered coat. It would have only gotten in the way. He turned a bright blue eye onto one of the armor-clad men before helping Rin up off the ground as well.

Rin spoke then performed a rather impressive wind-style that tossed up loose snow and sent five Samurai over the bridge. Giichi grinned. Nice one, Rin-chan. And here I thought you'd be a liability. You're actually pretty good.” He ran off to meet the remaining Samurai, staying close to the sterling Gorilla that Megumi had summoned.

With a groundward slide, he slipped beneath the whirling mass of the Gorilla's arm and zoned in on a distracted Samurai near it. He reached inside his pouch, grabbed a kunai, and with a kick-off, planted a spinning kick into the man's sternum. A deep grunt burst into the air before the man plummeted off the side of the bridge. Giichi glanced around for his teammates, clashing his kunai with the blade of a powerful Samurai.

Clenching his teeth, Giichi poured his weight to the side and swayed away. Rin was nearby him now and he just had to tell her. It's GEE-Echi, not Geichi. Try to remember that if we survive this battle,” he jested lighthearted before flickering away from a heavy downward slash.

Daiki Naito

Trailing the Ronin hadn't be difficult, catching up to him was a bit tedious but whatever had happened earlier had him rethinking all of his training. He bit his lip in agitation and flickered through the trees, stopping only when the Ronin would fumble over his own feet. Perhaps, I'm losing my edge.

He envisioned the last few minutes that had transpired between the squad and the ronin. Him and Haruka had positioned themselves perfectly, even Ayame had seemed satisfied with the results in that tense moment. But, things hadn't gone over smoothly. He watched with a sharp scrutiny as the Ronin's blade threaten to rend him in half and yet, it had never reached him. The image was so vivid that it caused him to leap back out of reflect, leaving the Samurai an opening for escape.

After that, anger and pure disappointed gripped his actions. With a growl, he dashed off towards the escaping swordsman, Anemone in hand as he slowly closed the space between them.

Now, he glared into the Ronin's back. Once upon him, they found their two blades banging against one another. Sparks and ear-shattering clangs crashed the pattering of their run. With a twist of his wrist, Daiki's blade was met once-again with the Ronin's. He was forced to admit that the Samurai might be better than him.

I- I'll have to use my Sharingan to beat him. I can barely keep up with his swings.”

Ayame Choko, “the Sewstress”

Departure to the Frontlines

The ronin didn't flinch as his blade clashed with that of the red haired boy in front of him. He handled his blade skillfully, although not to the point where people would be amazed at his skill. He was simply good, good enough to overpower Daiki and take on Haruka at the same time as long as he could form the battlefield to his own advantage. “A sharingan? Perhaps I should stay and.. take that. I could sell that to any clan. Care to hand that eye over for me, boy?” Well, there Daiki went, spilling his trump card by speaking to himself. Ayame was following from a distance, hiding in the shadows as she always did. But she couldn't help but feel.. slightly estranged as she learned of the Sharingan in the young boy's possession. He'd kept that hidden well enough. The mission had to continue, however, and right now the Sharingan was merely a tool rather than a surprise.

“Baka..” Ayame said as she looked at Daiki going toe to toe with the man. “Daiki, don't fight him. You can kill him, but we need him alive. He's our present to the Land of Iron. Besides.. just let him run. He can't escape us.” Ayame's plan had not foreseen that the ronin would push through the two boys. Maybe the ronin was stronger than initial intelligence reports had stated. Well, judging from his stature, he had more smarts than strength. They'd just have to readjust anyway. Not a single plan in the history of warfare had survived contact. This plan was one of the many testimonies to that.

With a quick movement, swoosh, the ronin's blade was swung towards Daiki's head although it was merely a feign movement, and the blade would never actually connect, although it would seem like it would. Before the blade even got close the ronin jumped backwards and continued running away, although his movements were starting to slow down and he'd sway from side to side a tiny bit as the poison was starting to work - slower than usual. Ayame was rather confused by that, too. “Doushita.. the poison should've kicked in by now..” she said to herself quietely while hopping from branch to branch, keeping an eye on the group. The ronin moved swiftly, on the same pace as a shinobi. You could tell this man wasn't a samurai, or a shinobi, but mixed the best of both anyway.

After a little bit more of chasing around, above and to the sides of the ronin if Daiki and Haruka followed the plan adequately, the man would slowly come to a halt as he swayed side to side. “Brgh.. I should've expected this after being hit by that bitch.. guess I have no choice.” he said to himself before reaching into his pockets. Quickly he turned around and revealed a pill that was unknown to the shinobi team. With a big movement he put it in his mouth and swallowed it before taking out his sword again. “If you want me alive so badly, I guess I'll kill myself. See ya' later bitches!” Before the combat could commence again the man collapsed and seemed to be dead. Ayame quickly jumped down from the branch she was perched on and kneeled next to him. She quickly felt for a pulse but it wasn't there.

“Ksu.. I never expected him to do this. Why would he even bother.. and no medical team at hand so deep in foreign territory either.” Slowly she got up and turned around again, looking around the environment to take a look at where they were. They were barely five minutes from Kannabi bridge, which was five minutes longer than her poison should've taken to work. Something odd was going on here. Did this man expect to fight her? Slow poison.. strange pill.. he didn't gain anything by killing himself..

Suddenly Ayame's eyes widened and she looked back at the, presumed to be, corpse. “Get back everyone!” Well, she was right in her thinking. The man's eyes blinked for a second and slowly he got up again, moaning slightly as the ''death'' had left him quite estranged to the sensation of death and revival. Ayame jumped back and reached back for her dai-senbon, which had been strapped to her back all this time. With a rapid movement she pulled the large bone needle from her back and stood at the ready, waiting to see what'd happen. The man simply stretched himself and seemed fine all of a sudden. “Hrhhhh.. so that's what death feels like. Pretty strange, I can tell you. You're probably wondering what happened but unlike that fool,” his words went paired to a gesture towards Daiki, pointing at him with the tip of his sword. “I don't spill beans about my trump cards. Or.. well, maybe this once I'll tell you. It's just too smart!”

“See, I know that Konohagakure has an assassination specialist, that's you, Ayame-chan!” His words went paired with a bit of laughter as the man apparently found himself pretty funny. He continued again, sheathing his sword again and holding it to his left, right hand on the grip as he stood ready to perform an iaido if he had to. “And I know poison usually works in the blood. It's quickest, obviously! So I took a pill with me that drains my body of all blood, and then it bursts and releases new blood into me! It was a hassle to buy, since a ninja had to make it, and also I had to find a suitable.. donor. So now your poison doesn't work!” Ayame couldn't help but feel annoyed at the man. Why go through all that trouble. What if the pill didn't work? Such a liability. But she had to admit, the plan did work so the man made a good call.

Much to her surprise, Sentou saw Daiki having sharingan and even with the Ronin's words confirming it that he indeed have sharingan. Sentou was in temporary shock, no puns intended after seeing a non Uchiha have a sharingan. Indeed. Stated that she dropped her coins and toss it in some places, it already meant, she disobeyed Ayame's orders anyway.

What's even worse is that the Ronin just made things more complex as it is, that not even Sentou could properly think right now. But regardless of the situation, Sentou must analyze and stay calm, "I have my coins scattered in some places; I could probably pull the rigged wires by now and send him a shock but no... Haruka and Daiki are in my way." Too much liabilities, Sentou can't afford to use Chidori at one point. If she does, then it will be a shock. The Ronin will take more than just getting shock, if he did was regeneration just now; then a normal Chidori would be meaningless to wound him.

Sentou performed a couple of handseals and tosses her coin in the side. "If he moves that fast; then by capturing his movements...." She thought.

"Each of my coins are rigged with a different seal. In all commonality, they have a phone and the phones I tossed in certain directions adds up as a 360 vision. My clones will watch how the battle goes and at 60 FPS, the easier will it take for my clones to analyze the movements of that man. I have to get closer.." Sentou notes her strategy to herself by thought and grinned. Recalling a flashback earlier when Ayame told her not to scatter her coins but scattered it anyway. She thought of making clones but didn't. It's a plan B if the Ronin situation gets more complicated. The phones are sealed within the coins. Which pretty much explains her title as the Chidori Wizard. It is by using clones and watch what's happening via the phones helps gain experience. Unfortunately, Sentou didn't have time to execute her plan as regardless of what she does, there's plenty of alternatives.

At that moment, Sentou uses her chakra to enhance her speed and appeared behind the Ronin, amping up her speed double time with afterimages. While all those afterimages of her are circling around the Ronin with the startling displayed feint images of fake punches, kicks. The real Sentou appears in front of the Ronin. "CHIDORI NAGASHI!"

Mia Uchiha

On with the land of iron, Team Megumi are ready for battle. This is no time to tease Rin as what she had been doing for the past two months, when it's time to play, it is playing but when it is work it is work. Mia inhaled along with Rin, timing her technique and synchronizing it with her. "Katon: Bakufū Ranbu!" The blaze is drawn into a spiral when the user expands their stomach which engulfs the samurais in a massive vortex, giving them no option to escape, leaving them to suffer and burn. Mia's technique is enhanced in courtesy of Rin's wind style. "That all you got?" She taunts the samurais.

Tsukiko Umene, Honeybadger

So far, so good. Tsukiko maneuvered to the top of the valley cliff, getting a good overview of the battlefield. As predicted the initial ambush wiped a large portion of their numbers. Aoi and Nobunaga made Yamato's job much easier, and in turn he just made Tsukiko's much easier. The jounin crouched low as she turned invisible, using her Hiding with Camouflage to ensure they wouldn't accidentally detect her before she could obtain the scroll.

Now that the Yakuza party was entirely trapped between the three chuunin, they were starting to grow desperate. The bulk of their numbers was already dead or incapacitated. Their survival was no longer viable. It would only be a matter of time before they would reveal it... I see you, mother fucker. One of the men that Yamato was approaching had begun to back away from the boy, unlike the others who were pushing toward him to break his line of defense. While cowardice isn't uncommon among humans, the situation was already clear. Moving away from Yamato wouldn't save his life as it only put him closer to Aoi and Nobunaga. What it did was prolong his end.

Tsukiko drew her special ninjato, The Equalizer, and held it with her right hand in a reverse grip. She leapt with the wind, coming down the entire height of the cliff to land in the sand right next to the stand-out Yakuza she identified. The action around made it impossible for anyone to notice the small details like the sand disturbed from her landing, and her presence would remain hidden. For one more second. Her ninjato cleaved into the side of his neck before slashing it backwards. His head was almost completely decapitated and his body was forcibly spun around from the attack, sending him sprawling to the sand. To anyone who noticed it appeared as if his head just popped off magically, but the three chuunin would catch on very quick. Tsukiko crouched down and flipped him over, opening his backpack to find a suspicious scroll. It seemed old and ornamental. This went nicely, Tsukiko thought with a smug grin, standing upright and examining the outside of the scroll in the sunlight.

It would be painfully obvious now that Tsukiko was among their ranks, as from the perspectives of everyone around her they could see the scroll randomly floating above a dead body. She brought it back down to her side and returned her focus to the battle. Of course she could leave right now and let the kids clean up. The enemies' morale and ranks were destroyed, the chuunin were sure to be victorious. But that didn't sit right with the jounin. She traveled all the way out to this hot hellhole of a desert while dealing with three brats just to kill one simple fool? No way. I'm getting something more out of this. Without cancelling her Hiding with Camouflage, Tsukiko leapt towards the nearest Yakuza. All he saw was a scroll flying at him, before something invisible sliced deep through his left ribcage, slashing through his lung and heart with a bloody spray.

"Hahahaha!!" The Hiding with Camouflage was taken down now, revealing Tsukiko, her blade oddly clean and devoid of blood. The maniacal laughter accompanied with the wild look in her eyes could make anyone question her sanity, but they would probably be too busy fearing for their lives. Her bloodlust was taking over and there were still beasts left to slaughter. The next nearest Yakuza, who had been previously preparing to fight Yamato, adjusted his attention to attack Tsukiko. He swung a sword of his own at her horizontally, but rather than parry or step back the woman just closed the distance. Faster than he could complete his swing, Tsukiko charged him, getting past his blade and hands to shoulder-check him. Before he could even fall over from the impact she swung her blade across his midsection, slicing clean through his clothes and organs and leaving a gory display of his corpse. "Hahaha!!"

Her laughter suddenly ceased as her gaze settled on her next target. He was midway from performing a jutsu of some kind, but he ceased the handseals once he locked eyes with Tsukiko. Fear had him paralyzed, at least temporarily. It was only when she dashed towards him that he continued his handseals. But it wasn't enough. Her blade slashed first across his eyes, then his neck, both in horizontal cuts. While Tsukiko had been in the middle of the Yakuza group, there was now suddenly a circular space around her. They had backed away from her, despite knowing it would be putting them closer to the three chuunin. They were beginning to feel they would rather not be killed by a psychotic woman and instead by kids. A rock and a hard place, but Tsukiko planned this from the get-go. "You Yakuza trash never had a chance! Your fate was sealed the moment I was called! Hahahaha!" Without any warning or anticipation, Tsukiko spun around and tossed her ninjato, impaling one of the thugs fleeing towards Aoi (or her clone, Tsukiko didn't know which was which at the moment). He fell face-first into the sand, prompting a snicker from the jounin. "What is this? Why am I here if all these people are this pathetic?"

By now almost all the Yakuza had been dealt with. Even though a good portion had been shinobi, it didn't seem to impact their fight that much. Perhaps the good shinobi died in the first stage of the ambush, perhaps their shinobi were just generally mediocre and couldn't work well in a surprise attack. Regardless it was already clear who the victor would be. "No survivors, kids! These fuckers get the sand burial treatment!" The chuunin probably already intended to finish them all, but now it was an order. Tsukiko casually strode over to the most recent body, placing her boot on the back of his still-living head and yanking her Equalizer out brutally. He let out a grunt of pain as she did so, but grew silent once she stomped his head a few times. "Eat sand, you little bitch!"

Akio Tendou

Akio said nothing as her two male comrades had talked amongst themselves, content to let Saburo chew Takeshi for his rash behavior, though her ears did perk up a bit when Saburo suggested they leave Hideyoshi behind. Lazy ass or not, he was still a comrade and their team leader. They couldn't just up and leave him without knowing where he was. Before she could speak on the matter, however, she got Hideyoshi's call for assistance, letting out a curse after it was finished.

"None of us have any real medical training besides first aid, same without medical supplies too. I'm going to the theater to stabalize him, you guys can follow if you think you can help, but I'd suggest sneaking into a few med stores to buy some better medical supplies, ifbthey have them." Akio was awate of how stupid her idea was, but it was all she could think of on short notice. "Depending on how badly he's injured, we might have to stay in Kumo a while longer, which means a greater chance of discovery. Let's hope that's not the case, but be sure to go around town in a henge to minimize chance of discovery. Now, I've got to go keep our leader from keeling over on us"

With that, Akio was off towards the theater, leaving a stream of curses in her wake as she did so. Goddamn Murphy's Law, why does it always have to rear it's ugly head. We were almost done with this mission too. Fucking Shit!

It wasn't too long until Akio arrived at Hideyoshi's location, pulling out the mandatory first-aid kit all Shinobi had to carry. Without a word she began to do her best to attend to the wound, feeding him a blood pill to keep him from bleeding out as she did so. Once she finished, Hideyoshi would be stabalized, but for how long was anybody's guess. He probably was in dire need of medical attention soon, though where that could be discreetly found was a question she didn't have the answer to. Then there was the matter of the mystery enemy who had taken out the supposed prodigy with such ease. Where were they now, and whar did they come for? As a precaution, Akio set up invisilke static strings all around her current location, soo as nobody would get the drop on them.

"Sawada-san, who did this to you, and where are they now? Where they protecting the scroll, and why did you feel the need to engage them?"

Everything had moved so quickly. Haruka had barely blinked before his compatriot moved to engage their target in a sword duel, and he was left to watch for those short precious seconds before Daiki was overwhelmed, despite the sudden activation of a Sharingan. He did not know how exactly the redhead was related to the Uchihas, but any questions he possessed for the revelation of a bloodline limit was shelved to the back of his mind by the events that were in process of transpiring. The ronin they were in the midst of fighting was incredibly skilled with a blade ... but to immediately commit suicide in order to escape Ayame's poisons ...?!

A pill? How did he obtain something like that ...? But no matter, the plan has changed course.

Their orders were absolute. Incapacitate the ronin and deliver them to Iron.

Even if his team leader's original plan of attack had been ruined by unforeseen developments ... the old-fashioned way would have to do!

The green-haired chunin's hands blurred as he began performing hand-seals. Chakra spiked within him, an invisible string spiralling out to attack their target's own reserves. This was the Temporary Paralysis Technique, a skill that worked without fail to stop those it targeted in their tracks for a short period of time.

And if all went well, that short period of time was all he needed for his teammates to take the advantage.

"Uchiha, Naito, go," he called out, voice calm as the technique activated on the ronin.

Yamato Minamoru, “Young Master”

Yamato couldn't help but look at Tsukiko with an estranged look, bothered by how carelessly she was going across the battlefield. And that said a lot, coming from Konoha's reckless prodiy, who never seemed to block attacks. For him to say that, she must really be drawing a lot of needless attention. She yelled out to them that they'd not be taking any prisoners, which was quite an unessecary thing to say in reality. “Bakayaro..” he sighed as he stood straight and ignored some of the Yakuza running past him. He raised a fist at Tsukiko and had an annoyed expression on his face. “YO! Stop playing around, idiot. We have the scroll, let's get going.”

He turned around and looked at the escaping Yakuza. “Tsk.. this jonin.. really must've been promoted for her bust.” While he was annoyed at her for being such an idiot, he wasn't about to let these guys escape. There weren't many left however so it was useless to waste effort of more taijutsu on them. Instead he opted for a jutsu. “Goukakyo no jutsu!” He exhaled and unleashed a very large ball of fire towards five escaping Yakuza men that were trying to get away but ultimately, that would prove fruitless as from their backs the fiery ball consumed them and left several burned bodies behind. As soon as he'd finished his little bit of work here, he'd turn around to Tsukiko and close in on the woman who was behaving rather strangely compared to earlier. Her composure had turned around completely. “When you're done behaving like this, we should rendezvous with team Ayame to prepare for the hand-over to the land of Iron.” Unless you wanna see what's inside that scroll, he mentally added, although he didn't think Tsukiko would be happy to break the rules of engagement surrounding this operation, and Ayame probably wouldn't be too happy about it either.

Saburo Uchiha, “Kimyōna”

Saburo listened to his teammates without saying anything in reply to them. Tsk.. There wasn't anything he could do - Akio had the scroll with her and before he could ask her for it, she was gone already. Now he'd have no option other than to follow her to Hideyoshi, which he really didn't want to do. First deserting the mission.. now asking help? And giving him that help meant risking the mission longer than they had to? Ksu.

He supposed they did things differently in the regular Konohagakure squadrons. Something about comradery rather than mission accomplishment. But it didn't sit well with him, not at all. Risking the mission for someone who didn't even help them.. the guy was weak, no matter what they said about him and his supposed 'level of skill' as a prodigy. “Takeshi, let's go. I wished we could simply go to meet with team Ayame, but it seems Akio-chan has forgotten she has the scroll in her possession and as such our goal right now is to protect that scroll.”

This team had been less than he'd hope for. A team leader that didn't do anything, Akio-chan who was hell bent on helping Hideyoshi and Takeshi, who seemed to take control at the most inopportune times. Maybe Fujitora was trying to spite Saburo by putting him in this team. Was that what regular people did? 'Spite'? He'd heard that word being used somewhere in the village not too long ago. Maybe this was what it meant..

Following after Akio he stopped finally atop the theater. He hadn't bothered going to buy medical supplies - he wasn't intent on wasting his own money that he needed on something like this. He didn't say anything, instead simply turned his back and held overwatch over the surrounding area.

Aoi Don Maquia

Aoi was just chilling in her little sticky water puddle, completely concealed and enjoying the view of endless chaos littering the scene with blood and smoke. The clone in the midst of this turmoil had performed euthanasia on the already dying men and those who were trapped beyond salvation with their skill level. As much as the duty of angel of death was amusing when seen in a patriotic angle, it wasn't a job that could last as all the others were being swiftly slaughtered by her colleagues and sensei, whom just entered the scene after a quick snatch of the scroll. The mission was done but there was still so much going on. Since this was only a clone and thus not entirely optimal for fighting, it skipped through the battle field, sometimes walking on its hands, on the lookout for stray henchmen or unfinished losers to handle.

The clone seemed as careless as ever, much like Aoi, except there was no real risk other than a clone vanishing and condemning another soul to await their inevitable death within a pile of goo. It would actually be close to that conclusion, which didn't spark much reaction from it, however Tsukiko would righteously manhandle that stray and eliminate all possible threats to the clone in its crusade for finishers.

Aoi could only pat herself on the back, the operation was such a success thanks to her goo that made the enemy's mobility absolutely null and hindered they general performances. To her, the operation was a success mostly thanks to her, even though Tsukiko sensei's explosions were probably the most casualty dealing attack of this entire ambush. As the Yakuza ran off to retreat, she'd emerge from her little puddle and witness in a much better view Yamato finishing them guys off all so righteously. She'd clap at his performance, even if he didn't deserve any more praise than the rest, but she was a sucker for flashy effects.

"Ooooh! You gotta teach me one of your super bright moves, Ya-ma-to~"

She'd suggest right out of the blue, her joy and enthusiasm contrasting very well with the bodies littering the area and their superior's berserk behavior. When finishing her clapping, she'd present a new candy bar to Yamato, help up with her right hand. He couldn't refuse it this time, they had done so much work and he seemed kind of beat up. Of course, she paid little to no attention to his cuts and bruises, he could take a lot more than that in her perspective.

"So, who wants some chocolate?~"

She'd ask out loud since things had calmed down, holding out two extra bars of chocolate for her teammates to fester on and recuperate some strength after the efforts they went through.

Fujitora Choko ; The Overseer

His two subordinates were doing quite fine, one fared better than the other but in the end of the day, they won. Luckily the characteristics of this final tournament made it a little safer for the inexperienced than the previous one, as they could easily get struck out of battle in other scenarios. Fujitora didn't appreciate the fact that Kapora was left to live, however, and made him question Jaakuna's abilities in the field. He'd have to grow accustomed to actually finishing off his enemies with his bear hands, even if he indirectly caused the death of a woman previously. Kapora could have faked and would have easily killed him from there.

"Another round and you'll be done. I have faith in your endurance, Yagyu. Don't let me down, go it?"

He'd respond to his "sponsor", giving him a little piece of encouragement so he could conclude his job with efficiency and insure that the kids didn't have to die stupidly near the end of their struggle. While his students were left to be healed, the commander remained seated, arms crossed and eyes fixed on the field. The next battle was going to determine pretty much how things were going to proceed from there. It was the bandaged guy against the four armed man's brother. It would prove to be a pretty intense fight with the lava release kekkei genkai being showcased more than ever. However, as much as the awe inspiring power was overwhelming, the evil individual took the upper hand and eventually got the better of the muscular fight. It'd be at that moment, along with a good capture of the monster's voice that Fujitora finally realized who this man was. 'The Tendou kid... Should've known'

He was in a tight position. This man could very well be a large threat to this operation. Despite the fact that the Jonin Commander was sure he could take the missing nin on, he feared the backlash on his subordinates and what this could have on the tournament. He could simply call out the man and indicate his proof via the prolonged chakra absorbing, typical of his clan. The prize money on his head would likely attract a little too much hostility to him and eventually lead to his unfair demise. The problem with that would be the fact that they may cancel the whole thing if some scandal like that were to occur. Fujitora was in a tight spot, but before he could dwell on the problem any more, the bandaged man finished his play time with the now dead lava user, he confronted the wounded brother. This led to Paneru being exposed to danger as the man switched sides with the chair he was supposedly sitting on.

Prompted to react, every fighter on a bench as well as Fujitora stood up, ready to kill both fighters off if they continued. Luckily, the fight would end quick enough so that no unnecessary casualties would occur. The announcer would of course order the exposed Tendou to sit back down at the risk of his early retirement. With that done, the crowd would be allowed another fight, this time opposing two females fighting it off for about ten minutes before the a black haired older woman took in the victory. She didn't kill her opponent but she sure beat the crap out of her. Finally, there only remained one opponent, a rather obese man with special marks on his face. Fujitora could only guess he was from the Akimichi clan, however the markings weren't typical of a bandit hanging around here.

Walking up on the field before he'd even be announced, he was ready to take on this fat man. The opponent did the same and with all formalities put aside, they finally fought it out. They tried to deliver a few punches to each other, but they were both skilled enough to avoid any damage. After about a minute of tensing, the obese man would used a typical Akimichi ability, the Human Boulder combined with his hair to makes it a ruthless spiked ball. Knowing he had hit a pretty low level similar to his subordinates, Fujitora wasn't too worried.

"Big ball huh? Akimichi no less. I suppose I can deduce how you'll proceed and end this quick."

"You asshole! I'll fucking crush you and eat your guts! Graaaahhhh!"

The fat man replied to Fujitora's cold provocation, spinning like a boulder in an attempt to crush the commander. The first approach was laughably easy to avoid but with a strong U turn, the opponent gained speed and his weight made the field rumble with tremors. Once again, it wasn't too hard to dodge but after each turn he gained speed. This got worrying as of now, and dodging wasn't going to be an option anymore. Quickly grabbing his hardened bamboo, he'd use it to block off the huge ball by holding the stick with his two hands all the while using his enhanced strength to prevent his body from being pushed back. The result would be the ball being shoved aside but coming back for more, though slightly slowed down. This allowed Fujitora to dodge one more time before he'd evaluate this to be good enough.

Positioning himself firmly and his body stiffened, he held his bamboo horizontally, both hands holding it near the center. He focused on his target as he rolled toward the preparing man. As an addition, Fujitora's gloves and sleeves would strangely turn dark-purple, almost black as he prepared for this strike. Taking one last deep breath, the Akimichi was in striking range, however Fujitora would lunge his body forward with a rapid step and deliver a precision hit to the center of the ball. The chakra enhanced strength but into it and his Divine Blood power made the strike strong enough to have the force of the hit release pressure right up to the barrier, causing it crack slightly only to fix itself immediately after. The Akimichi kept rolling despite the hit, and quickly the part of the bamboo broke down. The brutal hit plus the constant grazing of the material by the spinning ball made it break relatively quickly.

The fat man would keep on rolling forward for a second until he'd revert to his normal self. He seemed to want to say something, likely out of arrogance with that grin of his face, but he'd end up falling forward. He was dead on the spot. The hit had shattered most of his ribs and bones in his arms but also smashed multiple internal organs, some included the lungs and the liver. He was lifeless and the fight was over. Stepping out of the ring, Fujitora was satisfied that he wasn't hit by anything, not that he was expecting it from that man. With that done, the announcer gave everyone a five minute break before the next fight would commence. There were going to be three fights, and Shin was going to start off with second winner of the first round.

The commander sat on his bench, needing no help from Paneru. He was worried for Jaakuna, he wanted to order an immediate surrender, but he had to knew if that psychopath was hiding something. Ideally he could get something out of that fight that could help him accomplish this mission.

Minamoru and Reikan Diplomatic Relations Meeting - Part TwoLuscious;Reijo

During Two-Week Time Skip

Reijo sat down at the low table where Luscious had sat down as well, prepared for the diplomatic meeting that was about to commence - it had always been the same with these meetings. An informal (but still, awkward) greeting where they'd talk for a minute about their families, before switching rooms and talking business.

“So, we finally begin. I apologize for Yamato. But you know him by now,” Reijo said, with a small gesture, a wave of the hand or something resembling that. His face didn't exactly follow the words he said, as he obviously didn't feel sorry for what Yamato had said or how he contradicted Luscious. In truth, Reijo didn't like the Reikan's either. It wasn't so much a thing of hate, as much as it was simply that he didn't like clans with kekkei genkai - curses of god. But alas, Konoha had plenty of them and to rise politically, like he had before, and keep rising, like he was doing now, you had to forge alliances. “.. a lot of bark. Thankfully, he does bite. Bite harder than he barks, might I add.” A grin played on the lips of Reijo, however it was subtle. Luscious had probably known Reijo longer than today however, and could most likely pick up on it.

"Ah yes, your Yamato has indeed garnered himself a reputation of being a bit of a hothead, but with all the changes lately, perhaps a little glimpse of the spirit of old heroes.'' Luscious said, leaning back into his chair, having the usual half-arrogant, half-confident grin he had been known to have.

As he looked at Reijo, Luscious kept his grin, but in his mind he had many thoughts running through his mind, specifically on why exactly Reijo chose today of all days to set up the meeting and why he chose the Reikan Clan to be the one to be apart of diplomatic relations with the Minamoru Clan. ”Before we begin, I was hoping you could indulge in my curiosity, Rejio and answer me why you decided to reach out to the Reikan Clan? Everyone in the Leaf knows how you Minamorus despise those with Kekkei Genkais. And yet, you're here engaging in a diplomatic meeting with one of the clans who have one of the greatest Kekkei Genkais that ever existed. I am both intrigued and confused.” Luscious said.

Reijo would lean back a bit to think over his answer. He'd wait a brief moment before answering the man honestly, as the mans concern was quite a valid one. “My political answer would be that I would prefer to be amongst the first to reach out to you, Luscious,” he said with a business like tone, carefully picking his words as he moved through the sentence.

“.. your kekkei genkai is not the worst. You are not an Uchiha, who struggle with the curse of hatred even after that cycle was broken. Not a Hyuga, who have gone mad with power and think themselves above us. You are.. no offense meant.. small. There is no threat in your kekkei genkai, not directly anyway. In the case of a mad Reikan, Konohagakure could deal with it quite well. You're not a liability, Luscious. Besides all that, well, a clan needs allies, and I'd prefer you over the Uchiha or Hyuga. Many small fists can kill a God.”

His hand curled into a fist in front of him, showcasing what he meant with this. Many small clans can deal with the Uchiha and Hyuga's, said to be the fathers of all clans. Even though the cycle had been broken by Naruto and Sasuke, Reijo was still skeptical of the Uchiha. A kekkei genkai so powerful.. no, not a kekkei genkai. A curse.. it could only instill hatred, no matter what history said about it.

Luscious chuckled at Reijo’s words as a smirked was cracked on his face.  He could tell that Reijo held such hate for those who have supposedly “gone out of control” with not only their “curse” as Reijo put it, but also their opinion to the other clans in the village. But that wasn’t what Luscious found the most amusing. It was Reijo’s overall tone.

”Reijo, let me tell you a story about the Reikan Clan. ” Luscious’ tone took a more serious turn, ”I‘m sure you have heard the stories about where my clan originated from and how we were remnants of the Land of Water‘s wartorn state at the time. And I‘m also sure you are familiar with how, at the time, the head of the clan and his son did battle and the son won and becoming the new head of the clan? This is how it was for generations to come, but it didn’t stop at my ancestors. My father did it to his and his father to his. It’s a secret tradition that only a few know about. ” Luscious said, explaining something that has yet to become clear. ”Do you know why I am telling you this?”

“Because you fear I'll go bored with your presence, Luscious?” Reijo said, an obvious joke indicating that he was somewhat interested, although he didn't see the connection to kekkei genkai's. “Jokes aside, I assume it's to ensure that the next generation always surpasses the last. To make your clan stronger than it was before.”

Luscious laughed, ”You’re half right. This tradition was set in place to make sure the Reikan name would live on, but there‘s another reason,” Luscious’ voice went silent, his body language not hinting towards anything. Luscious’ eyes went to Reijo and for a moment, Reijo would feel such a chilling feeling in the air it would feel like they were in an absolute zero field. ”It‘s to ensure that the ways of the Fourth  Mizukage are not forgotten.”

“So.. a trial by combat. From the fourth Mizukage? Sounds interesting, but you'd best not forget you live in Konohagakure now, Luscious. Well, I can't tell you how to do these things.. if you wish to die at Rex' hands.” That just means one less kekkei genkai user for me to worry about.. later. Reijo would now lean forwards and place his hands on the table, raising one eyebrow at the man. “I don't see how that impacts the deal I want to make, Luscious. Get to the point.”

”We are a lot of alike, Reijo. We both rule our respective clans with absolute authority and if our children get out of line, what’s a little smack here and there going to really do? ” Luscious found humor in that as a laugh and a smile cracked on his face. ”As for what it has to do with this deal of ours, I believe likeminded individuals tend to have a better time talking about possible deals when they share similarities. Wouldn't you agree, Reijo?”

Hmph. Was this man serious or was he trying to get at Reijo? He feigned a smile at the man, thinking they were similar.. they couldn't be further apart. Reijo, a man blessed with a pure bloodline.. and then Luscious, cursed by god. They were nothing alike and not a thing in this world could change that for Luscious, no matter how much he'd want to be alike with Reijo. “Sure, Luscious. Now, about that deal of mine.. I was thinking we could form a regular alliance. Nothing fancy. Just to make sure, if those Uchiha or Hyuga ever try anything in Konoha, at least we're secured together. Furthermore.. those Naito dogs will come at my clan now or later, and I'd rather have someone at my back than at theirs. One of these days.. that dog Daiki will come for my Yamato, and I'll make sure that Daiki gets torn to bits by him. Perhaps Rin will stand at his side.. what do you say?”

”I think that‘s fair enough” Luscious leaned forward slightly, shifting his position in his chair, ”Though, about the Naitos. It is my understanding that one of them — Daiki was it? — Already came at your Yamato and that he might have lost his cool and done something that he’d otherwise regret if that Maru kid and Hideyoshi‘s younger brother hadn‘t stepped in.” Perhaps Luscious was stepping on thin ice, but his information was accurate. Rex had informed Luscious of that as it was a hot topic with the village a couple of weeks ago.

Reijo was slightly annoyed that this topic had become the 'talk of the town' but it couldn't be helped. Not that he was annoyed due to that Yamato was involved, it was more so that.. it happened on his property without his consent. Damn that clown-child. “Yes, I've had run ins with the Maru clan before.” That was about all Reijo was going to say, as his 'less than legal' affairs weren't meant for everyone's ears. That and the Maru's were quite proficient shinobi who had attempted to implicate him more than once. “I'll just say this; if that Shin boy, who I've spoken with recently, hadn't stopped Yamato and Daiki.. there'd be one less Naito to worry about. Ofcourse, nothing lethal,” That's a lie. he mentally added there, but he kept his cool about him and didn't seem any different from normal. “Just a friendly spar. Daiki initiated it.. after all.”

”With the bad blood that runs between your clan and the Naito clan, I‘d hardly call it a friendly spar.” Luscious laughed, ”But regardless what it was or what people may call it, I‘m sure my Rin would be more than happy to be by your son‘s side,” He feigned a smile. He knew that his daughter wouldn’t happily stand beside Yamato. If Luscious wished it, Rin would stand naked on a street corner. Of course, Luscious wouldn’t do that cause he isn’t that cruel…yet. ”That is, of course, if your Yamato withholds his temper of being in the presence of — what did you call it? — someone with the curse of god.” A laugh escaped Luscious’ mouth, ”Who knows, Reijo. If this alliance of ours works out, there could even be talks of joining our clans with my Rin and your Yamato holding hands in holy matrimony ”

“I don't think that will happen, Luscious. Yamato is bound to marry within the next year. However, your Rex, and my Rei.. who knows. She's a bit too young now, however. We'll discuss later. Either way, Yamato can hold his temper. He's not as bad as they make him out to be - kid has some good political sense in him too, unlike Daiki, who seems to grab every moment he can to spite Yamato. Of course, Yamato is portrayed as a bad kid, but that's just jealousy.. so, the deal is sealed, and we have an alliance then?”

Rex and Rei? While Luscious was a fan of marriages combining two clans -- especially if one of them are of high value -- Luscious didn’t like the idea of handing his oldest off to some schoolgirl, let alone one as superficial as Rei Minamoru.  Of course, Luscious would make it his mission to find a suitable mate for his oldest and as well as his second-oldest, Yukino. At least, if the latter would show some kind of initiative of wanting to carry on the Reikan name. Luscious stood up, smiling. ”It‘s a deal, Reijo. Luscious said, holding out his hand for a handshake, ”I look forward to our alliance.” Luscious happily said with a genuine smile on his face.

Takeshi Ruzuzaki

With Saburo Uchiha and Akio Tendou

Well there they all were, standing on top of the theater as Akio tended to their 'captains' wounds, Takeshi gently placed his med kit next to Akio, giving her permission to use what she needed. Shaking his head as he glanced at the captain, countless thoughts were running past his mind, Could someone more powerful than Sawada was around this area, if so: Saburo was right to hightail it out of here, but that nagging feeling of leaving a comrade..or in this case...someone that was suppose to be their captain behind.

"Good Gravy....this turned sour real quick." It was true, despite their mishaps, this one hitch in the mission was very possible jeopardizing their mission: at any giving time the Yakuza could drop in on us as take what they stole. Groaning in frustration as walked away from Akio and Hideyoshi as walked towards Saburo, the Happy Uchiha was not even the slightest happy: he could put on his facade at anytime, but the body language and aura he was giving was not pleasant.

"Saburo-san....Let me apologies for acting rash one again, it wasn't my intention of fail the mission...but if something were to happen with either of you...i couldn't live with myself...in my previous life i've had people i loved willing to lay down my life for them: Walk out on me." he chuckled "For most of my lifetime i've been by myself and fended for myself...despite being on team i've always acted as the lone wolf: it got me this far hasn't it?"

Reaching inside his Jacket he pulled out a bar of Chocolate and broke in half, giving it to the Uchiha. "I know this mission is far from what you and i had predicted. I dunno what kind of team you were in before, but please give this team some slack...we all have kinks in us...i'm trying to become a Shinobi everyone can rely on. I'm sure Akio and Sawada have something to hide as well. I'm sure you do to." he gave a small smile before patting his shoulder before walking off to the Opposite side of the theater. "By the Way Saburo:"

"Those who break the rules of the ninja world are trash. But those who abandon their comrades are worse than trash."

"Those words came from someone who acted like you, i think you already know who that was." Takeshi looked down at the lights of the village as he too took overwatch from his side.

Daiki Naito

I-I can see everything. The flow of his wrist … the tensing of his arm and muscles. I can beat him now, thought Daiki as the power swept him away. His red eyes danced with the minuscule movements in the man's body. For every step or decision that was made, he watched a different muscle react. It was nearly like a finger print. He could see the beginnings of a certain action when ever their subsequent parts would move to enforce the thought.

But no sooner then when he had started to push the man back, Ayame's voice had rammed into his ears. He kept his eyes focused on the man, ignoring the feint and allowing him to run off again. The captain was right, he had lost himself in the Naito again. It was a fine line to walk, wanting to bite a man to death and upholding the missions objective at all cost.

I should get some reward for fighting this temptation all the time.

Plus it had seemed the captain's poison was starting to kick in. During that slight feint, his follow through had become sluggish, weakened. His crimson eyes faded back to gold as he strolled forward, Anemone in his hand. He stopped four or five feet away, listening to this man's idle chatter. A crude blow was struck towards his accidental reveal.

Daiki bit his lip to refrain from killing the man. Though he agreed with him, revealing his Sharingan in such a way was careless and foolish. Mentor would've had his ass if he had witnessed it.

To his surprise, the man's suicide and later rebirth had been a ploy. As Ayame had ordered, he found himself a few more feet away from the body, a fierce grin on his face. Good, now I get to take you apart bit by bit. Let's start with your legs,” said the stoic youth.

His threat was a small distraction, for the plan was for Sentou to strike his legs with her chidori. When everything settled, he would be waiting to see the results. The Uchiha girl had been quick in her movements and Haruka had shouted for the both of them to go, but who knew what was going on in that chaos. Daiki remained still, ready to back up Sentou in case the Ronin had gotten away or retaliated.

Yamato Minamoru Saburo Uchiha

A friendly invitation? Get out!

Yamato had woken up 15 minutes ago, at about 6 AM. He had just prepared a cup of tea for himself, since Rei and his mom had left the hour about an hour ago already, Rei for school and his mother for work. That meant he had the house to himself for a change, something welcome on this day as he had no missions (that he knew of, so far) so he would simply spent the day relaxing and honing his skills - both martial and other skills that were required of him as the heir to the Minamoru clan name. Besides the obvious advantages to having the house to himself, he also realized that he'd not have to deal with annoying people today, like Aoi, Haruka or Sentou. That was a blessing in and of itself.

He pulled back the chair in the living room and sat down, and as soon as he'd seated himself he'd drink a sip of his tea. It was still hot, but that suited Yamato, the hotheaded boy that employed fire in his techniques. Not that he was immune to fire, that'd be idiotic to think. But he didn't mind the warmth of the tea too much. A sigh escaped his mouth as he looked at the white paper in front of him. Another day to do calligraphy - an art easily forgotten but something that gave rise to subtleness and flowing movements, useable in combat.

Needless to say, Yamato wasn't good at calligraphy. He lacked subtleness and flowing movements, which could be seen in his techniques and fighting style. But it was neccesary to practice this despite his relatively low skill in this area. He picked up the brush and started practicing.

He'd do this for about an hour - too long if you asked Yamato - and then let another sigh out before putting down the brush. He felt like he'd made some advances today, but probably not enough to please his father. Well, he could make up for it with his martial prowess. But when he got up he got slightly startled by a boy that was standing at the glass sliding door, looking at Yamato. “N-nandayo? Who are you?!” he said as his anger took the better of him and he got ready to punch this guy. But there was something interesting about the boy in front of him. Yamato was sure the doors were all locked, as he didn't like leaving everything unsecured. So how did this guy get in? Even more importantly, he didn't recognise the boy, a complete stranger to him, however the secret behind his identity was soon to be revealed.

“Oh. I'm sorry for intruding. I was going to speak up.. but I didn't want to interfere with your calligraphy. It was enthralling to watch, Yamato Minamoru. Or do you wish me to call you “the Young Master?” Your clan mates do after all. I simply wish to make you feel comfortable in your own home. Ah, sorry, I am Saburo Uchiha from the 11th corps, acting chunin in the intelligence gathering and special covert ops squadron, denoting I am part of the hidden unit that calls itself the 11th corps, who act in the shadows to protect the village, otherwise known as Konohagakure.”

The boy talked for an awful long time it seemed to Yamato and didn't really explain much, like the pressing matter of why the hell he was here. This caused Yamato to grind his teeth and clench his fists together tightly as he slowly got into a combat position. “So you're just some knock off from ROO-” The boy in front of him, Saburo, raised an open hand and stopped Yamato mid sentence, much to his annoyance. “Please don't liken us to that scum. We put those miserable years behind us.. though I am impressed with your knowledge of Konohagakure's history.” Tsk. What an annoying fellow, Yamato thought, as he observed the boys mannerisms. He had no clue about what sovereignity meant, invading houses like this, and then interrupt people mid speech? What an ass.

“Tsk, I don't care what you do and what you are, just tell me why you are here, baka.” Yamato was now reaching his breaking point and would go over to action soon enough if this Saburo guy didn't hurry up and get to the point. All Saburo did in response was whip out a notebook and jolt some things down. “Subject shows.. increasing tensions.. agressiveness.. ready to fight. Prepared to use Sharingan to subdue.. hmm. Yamato-senpai, would you say you are willing to join 11th corps?” What was this idiot blabbering about.. “Nanda.. you're here to ask me that? Why can't you just say that.”

What a backwards way to ask such a thing. He could've just said that when he entered the house.. “Fucking Uchiha's.. he's probably lying through his teeth as they always are. If he pulls that Sharingan shit on me, I'll kill him.” he thought to himself as he lowered from his combat ready position and eased up a bit more. With a supple movement Yamato grabbed his cup of tea and held it tight. “Nah, screw you and your ROOT organisation. Names may change but customs don't. I have no intention of brightening you and your organisation's day by blessing them with the presence of a god. Watashi wa Kami. Now piss off before I kill you.”

Saburo seemed rather surprised but he had anticipated this reaction. As such he took a moment to recover from the outburst of anger and bowed. “Very well, I will tell my superiors. May the Sage of the Six Paths bless your day, Kami-senpai.” He said the words calmly which made it appear like he was mocking Yamato. And Yamato was the wrong person to mock (even when Saburo wasn't really trying to). He gripped the cup of tea tighter and quickly raised it, before throwing it at Saburo. “If you don't get lost right now you Uchiha scum, I'll rip those Sharingan eyes right out of your skull! Saburo received the message and dodged the teacup with ease, bending to the right as the cup shattered against the wall behind him. “Hai, Kami-senpai! At once! Bless your day in the name of the Sage of the Six Paths, denoting I wish you a good day!” he said as he vanished in thin air using the body flicker technique. Yamato, still seething with anger, stood there looking at the spot the boy was in moments ago with trembling arms. “One day, you Uchiha bastards are gonna die. Fucking cunts.”

Hideyoshi

It seemed the team had finally arrived to see about their "Leader". Hideyoshi could only sit there and stare as Akio helped bandage him up a bit. The blood pill stopped the bleeding and the bandages would keep from infection. For now that was all that could be done. He had failed while his team had succeeded. "Kiri." Hideyoshi muttered to himself, remembering something the man was muttering during their fight. His mind was rattled mostly. His team had succeeded while he had failed incredibly. "To think someone would surprise within Kumo's own walls." The jounin looked up at Saburo, "I see you've taken lead. Go on without me. Don't jeopardize the mission over my failure. I'll catch up. I'll be a bit too slow to keep up in my condition."

Hideyoshi leaned his head back to face the clouds over Kumo. There was a wonder to if he would see that man again and how bad Fujitora would chew him out. That man was good and he got the jump on the youngster giving Hideyoshi the wound that kept him from helping Saburo and the others. It was a failure that wouldn't be taken lightly especially with no info on the opponent. "I'm sorry. Truly I am." Hideyoshi voiced his last words to group before they inevitably had to move on before him.

Akio Tendou

"Okay, Sawada-San, will meet up later then. Use Takeshi's med-kit to fix yourself up more if need be." Akio gave a nod to the jonin as she stood up. "Also, don't give yourself too hard a time, the mission was accomplished and you're still alive, so everything's all right in the end."

Turning to the other two, Akio repositioned the scroll on her shoulder a little to make it more comfortable before addressing her comrades. She noted that Saburo didn't look too pleased with the decision to check on their captain, but she didn't really care. She wasn't about to leave someone behind without even trying to look for them, and she was glad that she hadn't followed through with Saburo's plan for leaving. Otherwise, Hideyoshi probably would've bled to death, and that would've haunted her conscious forever.

"Okay, lets go meet up with Team Ayame." Once they were both ready, they would all leave as one to the rendevous point with the other teams.
