"Thanks, he's quite loyal." Adrianne nodded with her head at the mention of the raven, casting a glance over at Midnight.
"Although, given his condition, it's not like he has much of a choice, now that I think about it. As for the commander... "

Taking a break from the stirring of the soup, Adrianne would raise her spoon to point it up at Ansiel, the psyker now wearing a white apron in front of her battle armor.

"Firsty, it's a he, not a she. And secondly, the title is Inquisitor. Now I know some people might regard him as a very friendly Inquisitor, but from my experience, people of great power who may be very friendly usually have a few hidden buttons that may make them go completely psycho, so you still want to be prudent around them."

Pausing, holding the spoon next to her as if she had temporarily forgotten what she was about to say, Adrianne would suddenly spark to life as she pointed towards one of the windows of the apartment.

"As for his whereabouts, I last left him down with a Taurox at the building entrance. If you need a description, just look for someone with a fancy mask and a love for red. If it is not a member of the Mechanicus, then that's probably him!"

Smiling, Adrianne would again point the spoon at Ansiel, giving her an Inquisitive look.

"You on the other hand... surely you have a name I can use? Battle Sister Nr 28349 works for me, in case you don't want to share."

"Oh I'm Ansiel" she said standing straight "I think You'll be seeing me around more often, oh and thank you" she said with a little bow and walked out the door to begin looking for the inquisitor where the psycer said he would be. @Rithy @Skyrte

Aviza awoke shortly after Solares had finished tending to her injuries, missing what was currently happening downstairs with the newcomers. The Sister of Battles eyes were still closed but she was now fully awake and attentive to her surroundings. The sound of the wind blowing through the trees outside of the mansion was a calming ambiance to awaken to, even more so to the sound of the birds that would occasionally inform everyone they were there with chirps and other sounds. Opening her eyes slowly, Aviza found herself looking up at the ceiling in her room once more, Solares by her side with the same book in her hands.

“Hello Andromedai, I managed to take care of your injuries and the scar, which will completely fade in around four or five months. Next time you are injured, please contact me immediately and keep Adrianne away from you until I arrive. She did manage to tend to the wound, such a loose term, but there was quite a bit more that had to be done. Solares closed her book and put it on top of her case of medical supplies, then stood. “It would be a good idea to go downstairs and grab a large glass of orange juice, rest on the couch by the fire and take the rest of tonight to recover. By tomorrow morning, you should be good as new, here my Sister, let me help you onto your feet, I brought you something to wear instead of that underarmor.”

Leaning over Aviza, Solares helped her out of bed and onto her feet. “Thank you Solares, we are truly blessed to have someone as skilled as you are in the medical field here to assist us. I am sure some of us would be dead if it wasn’t for you.” Solares nodded her head, “I have had many assignments but this one has to be the most entertaining. Eh, yes many of you would be dead if we had not given medical treatment when we found you in the bottom of that warehouse.” Once Aviza was on her feet, Solares handed her a light Sister of Battle BDU to get dressed in before heading downstairs.

Quickly, Aviza slipped into the comfortable clothes then followed Solares down the stairs and into the living room. At first, neither Solares or Aviza noticed the new addition to the retinue, who was oddly enough another Sister of Battle. It did not take long for them though, the color of her armor, the patterns across it with their crest. Turning her head to look at the newcomer, Aviza spoke in a surprised tone. “Sister Ansiel, I wasn’t expecting to see you here, did Andromedai send you or did you come by on your own?” asked Aviza as she walked into the kitchen and stopped next to Adrianne.

In one quick movement, she pulled the Psycher into a tight hug and held her there for what must have been an awkward moment for her. “Thank you for your help earlier Adrianne, I was on a one track mind and was unable to properly show my appreciation. That one track mind of mine was only focused on survival.” Letting go, Aviza looked around the kitchen that was now filled with cooking supplies, as well as floating knifes. “You are making dinner for us? What do you have in mind if I may ask? Is there anyway I can help?” asked Aviza with curiosity.

Solares placed a hand upon her shoulder and motioned to the couch, go rest upon the couch, I am going to bring you some orange juice, as I said you need the rest tonight, let the Psycher and myself take care of dinner." With a nod of her head, Aviza did as she was told. Once at the couch, she quickly made herself comfortable. Taking one of the knifes from the air, Solares twirled it between the fingers of her left hand. "So Adrianne, give me a task to assist with or should I make dessert for everyone?"

“Tell me not how I feel my injuries, dammit...” Cath growled in annoyance as she slowly released her hold and her body relaxed back in a laying position. True enough she barely felt anything from all the drugs that were injected into her. This was a familiar feeling through, after all most her assignments ended in such a way... she still remembered what she looked like after that fight with the wych... Hmmm the very thought of it brought a smile on her face, part proud she defeated such an enemy and part that she so wanted the dark elder's weapon from that time... That blasted whip and it's cursed touch. A single touch that sends terrible waves of pain through one's body... damn how she wanted to wrap it around that psyker's neck right now... She started giggling... Well the drugs were getting to her head alright.

“Heh... fix me... like I'm some machine...?” Cath was still giggling at the whole situation. Sure... she was a machine... a tool for this blasted Imperium... None of that came out of her mouth, but she sure thought it was funny.

As the newly arrived started his work on her, Cath wasn't going to move, even if she wasn't told. She was an experienced enough soldier with more than her fair share of medicine hours after each huge injury she would sustain. It was frankly a miracle she wasn't missing a limb or two by this point.

She paid no attention or at least tried to at the procedure as her skin was punctured so they could access her broken bones. Now this was not a thing she had experienced before. Her usual process of healing would include the minimal required stay in medical ward until the worst injuries are headed or at least stable, before being thrown back on the field. Such was the life of the imperial guard... Pawns to be ordered around... Humans who's lives were cheaper than the weapons they used.

“I don't need much treatment... just setting the bones right and keeping them in place should be enough... cough” She said trying to slowly get up, but hey drugs were quite in effect, rendering her body not as ready to reply to her commands as she wanted it to. Eventually she decided not to struggle with it.” Alright then... vegence will be done later...” She mumbled, thinking about Adrianne, her hand clenching into a fist.

“If you are the inquisitor who's send me here... then my equipment shouldn't be too far. They told me everything I wanted will be send over to your location in the unlikely case I survive and am extracted... I have a sword in it... I don't care about anything else, but the chainsaber. It's a battle trophy from my first battle...” She said, looking around now. Who would have thought these guys had a HQ not too far from the cult...

In a corner of the mansion, another new arrival was waiting for the inquisitor's retinue to return. Marcus had been diispatched here to assist with whatever was going on here. His orders had been vague, but he hadn't questioned them. Doubt prepared the mind for heresy after all. He trotted into the room and loudly announced his arrival. "Marcus Agathon, here as requisitioned." He looked around. "So what is required of me now?"

He felt a tug on his sleeve, looking back towards Cath, he found that she had moved.
"You are the inquisitor!? Why did you send me here…" She managed to say, getting weaker.
Zhevon grabbed her shoulders and helped her lay back down, "I didn't, but I'll figure what happened." He assured her, he turned back to Lilith.
“Of course I put those melta bombs there! I was assigned to demolish that building and the cult inside - nobody thought to tell me of the Inquisition being here! I just sort of happened along Aviza, killed a bunch of guards, et-cetera. Would’ve been much more convenient if I knew there was artillery support available, I wouldn’t have had to sneak around that mansion for days and carry around all those explosives.” She went on, explaining her situation.
"Mm, yes. If I had known there were allies in the area I would have contacted them. There was a failure of communication, and I apologize. I should have checked." He apologized, rubbing the side of his chin, checking back on Cath.
“Is she…? She looks rather eh…”
"Incapacitated." He finished her thought, "She probably needs a medic."
Lilith looked back at Zhevon, “While I’m here, is there anything you need? You seem… rather reason compared to ah, your compatriots, shall we say?”
He rubbed the back of his neck, "Some of them are rather passionate." He admitted, glancing down at the ground, "If you could quickly inspect these two vehicles, to check if they're clean or not, I would be greatly appreciative."

He looked over her shoulder and noticed Magos Natta approaching.
"I hope that I am not interrupting, but the wounded within this transport appears to be perspiring, perhaps I might be of some assistance in this instance?" The Magos asked plainly. Stukov had then finished patching himself up, presumably, and had come back. Stukov spoke, Zhevon finding himself agreeing more or less with his orders. Stukov would certainly make a capable second in command. Zhevon put the note in the back of his mind. As the Magos worked on Cath, Zhevon looked on in curiosity, the man had little interest in becoming a doctor or medic but the actual process involved in healing was interesting.
Once he seemingly finished, he spoke up.
“My work would be more precise with a better environment; we must move her carefully to a more acceptable location.”
Zhevon looked at Stukov, and then the Magos, "...Well that's better than what I ever could have done." He remarked, "Agreed, Magos Natta. We could use the makeshift stretcher I acquired earlier. It's... Basically a door, to move her into the safehouse. There should be a table or two there suitable enough for you to work with."

Cath turned her head to Zhevon, “If you are the inquisitor who's send me here... then my equipment shouldn't be too far. They told me everything I wanted will be send over to your location in the unlikely case I survive and am extracted... I have a sword in it... I don't care about anything else, but the chainsaber. It's a battle trophy from my first battle...”
Zhevon nodded to her request, a package of... Stuff, containing a chainsaber, "Don't worry, I'll send one of my most trusted to retrieve your saber. Focus on recovering for now." He assured. He took out a communicator and sent a message, "He's already on it."

After trying to find the inquisitor to tell him her reasoning for being there and joining she had made her way back to the building where she heard more people. And started to make her way to where they were. When she got there it looked like some sort of party and what appeared to be her new teammates Having fun.

Adrianne was taken slightly aback by the sudden hug from Aviza, whereupon she almost froze in response to her. It was not that she was unfamiliar with hugs, but perhaps the fact that it was a Sister of Battle currently doing it, which was enough to make any Psyker slightly worried.

"Uhhm... you're welcome... ?" Adrianne responded to the hug, cautiously raising one hand up behind Aviza to pat her on the back in return, her eyes shifting about as she was uncertain how to respond to the situation other than to weather it out!

“You are making dinner for us?"

" ... "

"Oh, yes, I am!"

It took a while for Adrianne to even realize that Aviza was asking her, as she quickly remembered that she was in fact in the process of cooking! Which was just in time enough for her to levitate one of the pans off the stove in time before the meat got overcooked!

"I think a dessert would be the best bet! I got the dinner under control! ... or at least I'm pretty sure I do." Adrianne said as she threw a quick glance about around the kitchen, between all the various knives, pots and kitchen utensils that she was currently levitating about the place; half of whom she had completed forgotten about!

After having been released from Aviza's very long hug and resumed her kitche work, shuffling pans and foods about the place as she was preparing the soup, Adrianne would throw a glance over at Solares.

"Sooo... how was it you became a Sister of Battle?" She eventually asked, peering rather curiously over at the medic working next to her with the dessert.
"I've heard stories, including everything from tonnes of prayer sessions to blood rites, though I'll admit I do not know much about how the whole Sister thing actually works."

Solares was unsure of how to correctly answer Adrianne’s complicated question, it was by no means something easy to describe without having a while to put aside. The Medic decided that she did not really have the want or the right to talk about such a thing. “It is a very complicated procedure; in all honestly I am actually unable to disclose details about the initiation. If you are still curious about it, perhaps you should ask Canoness Superior Andromedai tomorrow afternoon when we arrive at the Ecclesiarchal Chapel. My apologies but rules are rules, and breaking them would be unacceptable.”

Reaching over to one of the floating knives, she quickly grabbed it from the air and then placed it upon the cutting board on her left. After gathering all of the needed cooking supplies, she went to work on making the incredibly decadent dark forest cake.

“I have a question for you, how did you end up with the Inquisitor and his unique retinue? Such a strange gathering of the emperor’s finest I would say.” Solares would now be pouring the midnight black mixture she had made for the cake into a large cake mold. A moment later, it would be inside of the oven cooking quickly. “How is dinner coming along, I assume it's almost done due to your heretical cooking skills?” She quickly shot Adrainne a smirk.

Back on the couch, Aviza had repositioned herself so that she was now sitting in a comfortable position. Wrapped in a blanket with a book upon her lap, she quietly read and minded her own business, enjoying the warmth of the fire and the good company. The drugs that had been used upon her were finally wearing off, releasing Aviza from her subconscious state.

Not long would pass before Aviza would fully consciously awaken, wondering just how she had ended up down stairs. To make matters worse, she also had no idea how she had ended up on the couch, how the blanket was wrapped around her, and where her poor choice of reading material had come from. "Solares?" she called out, the Medic was quick to respond, "I know what you are going to say, you were drugged for the operation, guessing you have returned from your subconscious state." There was a pause, "That makes a lot more sense."

“I have a question for you, how did you end up with the Inquisitor and his unique retinue? Such a strange gathering of the emperor’s finest I would say.”

"Weeell... from the stories I've heard, and the power of requisition I know Inquisitors to wield in general, I would argue that we aren't THAT of an odd bunch." Adrianne replied as she cast a brief glance away from her work and Solares.
"I'm pretty sure there are weirder groups of people serving the Emperor out there in the universe."

Adrianne made a quick mental session of all the notable archtypes in the Inquisitorial team at the moment. There was the typical soldier guy, Stukov. The gung-ho battleborn Aviza there to smite all those who did not polish their shoes properly in accordance with the holy scriptures. And there was herself, a Sanctioned Psyker.

"You know, most of us are the battle kind of people. Not to sound condescending or anything but your role, despite your skills, is rather run-of-the-mill. I think the most odd-one out in the group would be me, being the Sanctioned Psyker; but then again, Psykers are hardly a rarity in any kind of specialist groups or important squads." Adrianne reasoned, throwing a smile over at Solares.
"While you guys are the experts on what's blasphemous, I do believe I'm the resident expert when it comes to the powers that we are facing."

Adrianne added at the end with a slightly confident smirk, feeling a certain level of satisfaction in knowing that her powers, as much as they may be despised by the Ecclesiarchy, were nonetheless vital to the survival of the Imperium; and without whom, people like Adrianne that was, the Ecclesiarchy and their vainglorious chapels would surely have crumbled long ago!

Hearing the acceptance of her request, Cath laid back and relaxed a little. She felt so drugged that it was a real pain to think... She knew that eventually the painkillers would wear off and the pain will flood her senses, but she so welcomed that moment right now. One thing she disliked a lot was this feeling of... being indestructable that the painkillers of this strength often gave. She wanted to feel alive... to feel her injuries and sense her limit. That was how she defeated her enemies in the past. Granted back then she always started a fight in top condition before she met her enemy... this time her fight with this psyker started with her already been too wounded to give a proper fight. Next time it wasn't going to go that way... She already started to plan her payback. That Adrianne woman destroyed her future with Sal and Cath was going to make her pay for that one way or another.

"Alright... will these patch ups hold under stress?" She asked the guy who fixed her up." Can I walk around and move without expecting the bones in my body, that are currently held together with what you injected, to get in pieces again?" She asked. Walking around injured wasn't anything new to a member of the Imperial guard. She was used to it and now was simply waiting for the drugs to wear off.

"Can I walk around and move without expecting the bones in my body, that are currently held together with what you injected, to get in pieces again?"

A sound emerged from behind the mask of the Tech-Priest, amplified considerably by the hollow triangle, a sound that sounded as if binary had been made into a vocal language and was now being spouted at the naïve Guardswoman; it was not any form of words though, it was laughter.

“You humans are a predictable species,” noted the Genator, not meaning to cause any offence, his tone rather flat and neutral as far as it went, “they are not 'help together', as you put it!” Now he did emphasise his words, a subtle hint of annoyance entering his otherwise eerily robotic speech-patterns.

“The material I have used is for all intents and purposes now a part of your bone, better than bone - a more flexible and durable calcium-based compound that will mean breaking them again will prove most ambitious. As for your lacerations, deep as they were, they should heal within a matter of days...just do not remove the staples until then.”

With the latter he could have done more, he could have injected her with a concoction that would cause her blood to solidify when exposed to air, or grafted self-healing flesh over the wounds, but he considered this and decided that he had done more than enough for one day. If she ever wanted such things, such blessings, then she could seek him out...as could any of them.

“In short, you may rise and do as you will,” he announced, scanning her body once more both for her own health and for his own records, “the painkillers will also help to heal any internal injuries, but I would give them time to work and avoid any stressful activities.”

Her internal wounds, whatever they may be, would heal in time; without allowing him to operate more though? She would simply need to be careful, and not do anything stupid to tear or re-open them. Yes, she could also potentially die within a matter of hours, but Natta placed no real value on human life, and so would avoid telling her at that precise time.

Turning his face back toward the Inquisitor, Zhevron apparently, he gave what in human terms may have been a cough, “is there anything else you would have of me? Any subjects for study, perhaps?”

“To be honest, not that I wouldn’t be, telling me that I am run of the mill because I am a medic not only makes you sound condescending, but also egotistical. Do not assume that the medical field is the only area I was educated in, I spent many years furthering my education and skills across multiple subjects.” Solares slid off of the countertop and landed upon the marble floor beneath her feet. “I take pride in what I do Psyker, perhaps someday you will find yourself in the need of a medic and I will be the only one around to help you.” With a light shrug, Solares walked nonchalantly over to the window overlooking the metal sink and glanced out into the front yard.

“Let us change the subject to something more current alright? Take a look outside, the night is finally upon us and it seems the Inquisitor's retinue has new additions to it.” With her left hand, she pulled the blinds open so that Adrainne could see all those that were still gathered around the armored vehicle. “Do you think we should make more food or do you think it will be enough for everyone?” asked Solares as she held eye contact with the Psyker. This was actually a good question, the sudden addition of new members to the Inquisitor's retinue brought up a set of new challenges that everyone them would have to face.

Back on the couch, Aviza had fallen asleep, it had been one long day and she knew her fellow Sister of Battle would awaken her when dinner was ready.

"I didn't say you were not useful!" Adrianne was quick to defend herself, raising a spoon of whipped cream causing some of it to fly off and hit parts of the roof and wall of the kitchen!
"Medics are important! It's just that... well, you are common, I suppose I could say. As in rarity! I'm more... uhhh, rare!"

Feeling the conversation take a turn for the awkward and almost eerie, Adrianne was quick to agree with the suggestion of changing the subject as she returned to focus on making the food, whilst casting a glance over at the outside.

"Well, two of the new additions are Adepts of the Mechanicum!" She would note as she eyed Lilith and the Genator. Pondering the fact for a moment, Adrianne would glance over at Solares.
"Do you know what they eat, or if they eat anything at all? They are like half machine, aren't they?"

Adrianne said, not really sure how the mishmash of mechanical cybernetic components with a human base structure really affected the individuals. It was always difficult to tell with the adepts of the mechanicum. Sometimes, she was not sure if they were even human to begin with!

"I got no clue myself. Should I get some machine oil and bolts for them instead? Or should I simply point them to the nearest recharge station?"

"No, nothing for now Magos. I could procure some Ork subjects for you, if you need any test subjects." Zhevon said, he looked to the door, "Excuse me, this disguise is getting rather uncomfortable. Feel free to enter the safehouse when you wish."
The Inquisitor left and walked into the building discovering that Adrianne was already in the kitchen cooking a meal... In her own specific way. With floating knives. He noticed some mess in the kitchen, notably whipped cream on the ceiling. He merely scratched his head and walked up the stairwell into his room, where his armor and equipment was stored.

He threw off his disguise and slowly, carefully put on his original garb, armor, and equipment. After settling the helmet back on his head, he sighed. Finally complete again... He exited his room and walked back down into the living room. Looking up at the cream on the ceiling.
"I'm going to have to say that competitions are not allowed anymore."

Stukov saw the Cog Boy do his work on repairing the woman in the armored vehicle, doing pretty neat, quick work to stabilize her to the point she looked able to move on her own. Now, that was slick work, and if only that had been available sooner, he might have more of his body intact. But that was neither here nor there, not like he could really make the past change now. But it certainly seemed the stretcher he had gone and pulled together had not really been needed, considering the handiness of the craftsmanship in the medical work done on the woman was, so he set it aside and watched Boss head back into the safehouse, complaining about the disguise he was wearing. To be honest, Stukov kind of liked this outfit, and he would save it for later despite how much he told the others he couldn't stand the thing. So he retreated inside to change, rolling his eyes at the mess that the kitchen had gone and become. Leave it to Smiles to make a mess.

After heading upstairs for awhile, Stukov would return, wearing his traditional attire, carapace underneath his long coat, a shotgun he scavanged slung over his shoulder. He would be ready for trouble in a moments notice, but for now, he needed to finally sit down. With a groan he crashed onto the couch, oblivious to anyone else at the moment, and dozed in a half awake state. Leave it to a soldier to find out ways to sleep near instantly, and be ready to awaken again in a moment's notice. Sure, he wasnt going to have pleasant dreams, but sleep was sleep. If he was lucky, it would just be nothing going on upstairs while he rested. Food, drink, companionship all paled to the desire that Stukov had at that moment to catch a quick nap. And he would probably not be overly pleased with anyone waking him up without a good reason.

There was a moment of silence before Solares responded in an emotionless tone of voice. “I am unsure if you are being serious or if you are just teasing me.” Her emerald green eyes quickly glanced back outside and the silence returned once more. After a few moments, Solares moved away from the window and pulled the blinds shut. The Sister of Battle shrugged, “I say we merely observe the situation at hand and see what happens. Neither of us has any experience working with one of his type so there is very little we can do. In the end when all of this is over we will have learned something new.” There wasn’t much to say on the topic, all they could do now was observe, since talking to him about such things seemed out of the question.

In the back of Solares’s mind, she hoped everything would run smoothly for the rest of the night. The last thing she needed was for disorder to break out and then have to use the necessary means of force to bring the mansion's occupants back to their civil selves.

Nearby, the oven she was using let out a series of loud beeps, informing her that the cake she had made was now done. After carefully pulling the pan from the oven, Solares added the final creative decorations to it then let it cool. “I am finished here Psyker, if you require my assistance, you can find me in the living room reading.” With a quick bow, Solares left the kitchen and walked into the living room. Finding her comfortable chair by the fireplace, she took a seat and began to read her unmarked book once more. It was about that time that she noticed Stukov toss himself on top of the couch, from most likely being deliriously tired, so much to the point that he managed to not see Aviza already upon it.

Turning her head slightly to the left, Aviza caught sight of Stukov walking down the stairs in his formal clothing. “Evening Stukov, haven’t seen you since the mansion, why are you still…” The Sister of Battle was unable to finish her sentence due to the fact that all the air in her lungs had been knocked out of her. “What are you doing? Get off of me immediately!” With one aggressive and violent push, Aviza managed to shove Stukov off of her and onto the carpet floor below.

He hit the ground with a thud while Aviza quickly closed her book, unwrapped herself in the blanket, and stood next to him. “Free show in the living room everyone, come and watch Aviza kick ass.” said Solares followed by a malicious sounding chuckle.

Placing her foot down upon his neck, she applied pressure, just enough to cause discomfort. “Listen very closely to me because I am only going to say this once. Also keep your mouth shut so I won’t have to drag you over into the fireplace. Tomorrow afternoon we will be visiting the Ecclesiarchal Chapel and there are some rules you will follow. First off, the next time you see Sister Andromedai, you will show her respect, cooperation and follow her orders to the letter. Second, keep your Psyker powers to yourself so you do not stand out and draw any unwanted attention. Third, if you make a serious mistake and get yourself into trouble, there is nothing anyone can do to help you. Your short Psyker life will end there, in a most unpleasant way. Now think about what I said and do as you are told, alright? I am not saying this for my own health, I am saying it for yours so you don't end up dead."

Removing her foot from Stukovs neck, she returned to her place upon the couch, the glare upon her face turned to one of neutral emotion. "If you want to rest, there is another couch only five or so feet from where I am. I recommend resting in your room, would be much more peaceful though and someone will wake you up when dinner is ready."

During all of this talk, Solares had produced a strange, high powered looking pistol that she tapped upon the top of her book. "What's with the shotgun Stukov, you expecting trouble?" asked Solares nonchalantly while she peered at him. Aviza spoke before Stukov could respond, "Hey Adrianne, how's dinner coming along?"

"I'm going to have to say that competitions are not allowed anymore."

"That... " Adrianne was about to say something, when she eventually glanced up at the cream clinging to the side of the walls and bottom of the roof with one of her purple eyes, and then back at Zhevon.
" ... that was the sisters of battle's fault! They distracted me!"

Adrianne frowned slightly at saying that. Surely if there had been no one to talk against her, she would never have gotten riled up enough as to whip cream across the kitchen! There was no doubt that she was the victim here!

"Hey Adrianne, how's dinner coming along?"

"Ohhh, it's done!" Adrianne said, suddenly realizing that the main soup which was currently sitting on the stove was at the point of boiling over. With a quick gesture from her hand, the large pot jumped over to one of the counters instead, the thick, creamy substance inside of it rolling about as various giblets of vegetables and what could only be assumed to be pieces of meat floated to the surface.

"Next time I'm ordering food, it's probably less stress... "

The Psyker thought to herself as she looked at the soup, before quickly ransacking the spice shelf and dumped some of the bags down into the soup. After all, even if the initial project might not have been a success, anything could be remedied by an appropriately liberal addition of spices as to eliminate the original taste!

Noticing how sleepy the rest of the group seemed to be however, Adrianne had also produced some homemade blue shakes, yet the lack of energy around in the group convinced her that she might need to add a boost. And so the Psyker produced some caffeine pills, along side various other "cognitive-enhancing-battlefield-drugs" which she casually dropped into the shakes before handing them out to the rest of the group.

"Here's some shakes to get you guys back into shape, and the dinner will be about any minute now!" Adrianne said as she went around to hand the blue shakes out to the rest, though paused to give Stukov a look. Kneeling down to him, she would speak in a whisper to Stukov.

"Are you alright? I recommend you stay a safe distance away from the Sisters. They have chronic anger management issues, which is not helped by the perpetual stick they got up their butts!"

Stukov hadn't even noticed the Sister, tired as he was, but when he was thrown onto the ground, that woke him right up. And if it wasn't for his self control he would have frozen the foot right off her, the hoarfroast already gathering naturally around the two of them as he resisted the futile urge of grabbing her ankle. Besides, that would have led to him doing something regrettable. Mostly to them, since he had this bad habit of not reacting well to people, who were accustomed to wearing power armor all the time, trying to assert dominance over him through violence, or through any means to be frank. Reminded him too much of his encounters with Chaos, something he was, in his mind's eye at least, reasonable in not wanting to have to put up with without good reason. She had been right thinking he was unusually tired. But after the last couple days, or Emperor, however many units of time it might have been, poor sod like him probably would be.

Stukov hadn't the time to pick himself up, noting the high energy weapon pointed at him by the medic friend of hers. The food didn't distract him, disturbingly unmoving from his position before abruptly bolting onto his feet. Smiles would feel something wrong before anyone saw it on his face, but it wasn't a neutral expression. He was grinning, despite the pain that his augmatic voice box was causing him right now. The drinks were handed out, but just as Smiles tried to reason with him on avoiding the Sisters, his eyes flashed with warp power, the liquid inside her cup flash freezing. And, since freezing liquids expanded in form, the container broke in time for his eyes to flash again, returning the stolen warmth to the drink, sending it splattering all over Sis's lap. "Whoops, did I do that? Sorry, here, you can have mine." Stukov threw the cup at Sis, the lid loosened and sending the contents hurtling towards her face instead. And like nothing happened, he glanced at the medic looking one and fixed her with his burning azure gaze. "When living with such a dysfunctional 'team' that gives living my life in warp transit a run for its money? Yes, I expect trouble every waking moment of my life. And I'll only say this once, I don't like having guns pointed at me."

Something triggered in his head, and rather than his usual remarks, Stukov began laughing, a wheezing affair from the boot on his throat, only louder as his throat recovered, the painful sounding noise coupled with static and hard tones of his bionic voice box. He was too tired for this shit, and the voices were tired of her shit too. He brushed himself off, cracking his neck rather audibly as he turned, eyes burning bright blue. "Oh wasn't that just precious, though, don't you think Smiles? Our dear little Bolter Bitch and her pet, pointing guns and brazenly threatening the one person you really don't need losing their cool. Especially after a long Emperor knows how long, with shit he has hated his entire life thrown onto him without any say in the matter, and forced to figure it out. Right now, I don't really have the energy to be putting up with her games, so I'll be frank, Aviza. Your Cannoness doesn't scare me. You don't scare me. No one in your precious order of menstruating, overzealous, power armored BITCHES scares me. Stare the warp in the eye, raw, without your precious reality or Gellar Fields to protect you, and tell me how much the mundane things in normal space scare you in comparison. I feel like we've been through this song and dance before, so I'll be brief."

Stukov snarled, walking past everyone without a glance, and woe be unto anyone who tried to lay a hand on him right now. "And now have fun imagining the fact I have to live with what I hate, living in my head, for the rest of my life, blessedly short as it may turn out to be. Things that manifest on their own, with no say in the matter. I'll eat later. Enjoy your meals, ladies." The former armsman, voices screaming for him to avenge himself and his honor on the Sisters of Battle, walked upstairs slowly, almost daring someone to try something, before walking out of sight. He did not go to his room, rather, he quietly slipped out of the building completely, making his way onto the roof of another building, he needed seclusion to get these damned voices back under control, as much as he could at any rate. Which mostly consisted of him sitting there, fighting the damned howling down to a normal volume. Something was haunting him, and whether it was just now he could hear it, or it joined him recently, it was aggravating.

Zhevon had gone into a back room to find some sort of ladder or stepladder. Something that he could step on to reach the ceiling, to wipe the cream off of it. He spent several minutes there, eventually grabbing a stool. He stepped back out into the kitchen living room area, only to witness the second half of the debacle, which resulted in Stukov walking out and two spilled drinks. He sighed and rubbed his faceplate, setting the stool down. After Stukov had left, Zhevon spoke up.

"Excuse me but how old are we?" A rhetorical question addressed to everyone present, "We are not school children. We are trained, experienced servants of the Emperor. All of us. So why, tell me, did I just witness what I could describe as the bullying of one of the most veteran Armsmen of my personal Blackship? Who thought it was a good idea to test that mans patience, who just recently realized he is a Psyker and is most likely unstable," Zhevon found himself speaking quicker and his volume increasing, "in the home of another Inquisitor?!" He stopped for a second, lowering his volume to his usual, "Keep in mind that we are guests here. All of us, even I. We are allowed here." He looked to Solares. Zhevon ran his hand over the top of his helmet, taking off the hood. "I know everyone has had a long day, I have as well. But I still shouldn't have to say any of this." He turned to Adrianne, "I've lost my appetite. My apologies, Adrianne. I'll have some of your cooking another time." He walked out saying, "If anyone needs my attention, I'll be just outside."

He stepped outside and sat on a bench, taking out a small leatherbound handbook and holding onto it. He looked up to the sky and gave a heavy sigh, thinking that he should have prayed to the Emperor just a little bit more.
