Wesson platoon are elite mooks, not actual bosses. http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/EliteMooks, read that up a little.

Basically, they're definitely better then mooks but not badass enough to be considered 'aces'


If that's the case, can I out right kill one of them in my next post?

Sure! They're the first planned-to-be-murdered enemy NCM's, they should be fairly easy to RIP AND TEAR, feel free to be all show offy with it to.

I actully had info on his "siege mode" but I lost it. I'll find/redo it and post it on his mech. Anyway crazy biting jaws are more in the future.

How many other types of forces does HS have? Like in how many infantry unit/armored units/aerial units that aren't NCMs?

They don't have much available, and nearly nothing 'on-base'. They do have the required infrastructure and materials to 'borrow' and maintain lighter forces, such as smaller tank squads or a few attack choppers, and do plan to acquire a transport craft. They also have enough 'agents' to defend the base as internal security forces, and occasionally support the PC's in combat with infantry RPG's and the like on the field.

Loving how everyone is doing, 10/10. This fight'll soon end though, so feel free to make it go out with a bit of a bang.

Please don't kill Raymond yet doe I have some stuff plotted for him.

Allowing a bit of time for Eklispe to respond IC, and I'll be wrapping this up some. With the coming weekend we should really be able to GIT SHIT DONE, which pleases me greatly!

In any case, yeah let's finish this battle.

Oh just in case ya'll missed it, Nine has uploaded a quick program that'll calculate and track incoming howitzer bombardments point of impact, with a timer that approximates the impact time as well - onto the squad-cloud. Feel free to use it if you're 'having problems' with the howitzer bombardments.

That said, after Eklispe posts, I'll follow through with the eventual destruction of another howitzer platform with Nallore.



Edit: That was too OP. Killing off Raymond's NCM in 1 shot lol

Think about it; if an NPC can stay independent in such a harsh world, he -should- have the relative skill (or luck) to be able to deal with sniper fire, or even handle 1v4 with relative ease. A little cringy to how he's done in I'd have to say, considering that Raymond -is- supposed to be one of the higher-tiered bosses. (Unless I've totally assumed that wrongly)

Essentially, the reason why my character took off to avoid confrontation with Raymond while killing off objectives is because I assumed that he -is- a threat. I figured that the rest of the squad would keep him at bay like a boss character while we clear the objectives. I mean literally, mission = success if we managed to keep him at bay from stopping us from completing our objectives AKA the destruction of the refinery.

But if the GM's cool with it, ignore me XD

Beginning to feel that this isn't as 'grimdark' as I thought it would be.

I have no probelms editing my post. My theory was GM said keep him alive and he said finish the battle so make it quick and clean. But ya if I need to edit no prob

Oh, lovely! Please, make it so you hit a sensor module or something. Do note, he does have quite a lot of jamming equipment on his NCM, so sniping would be made more difficult.

And this time, just make it so at most everyone has to force him to retreat.
And it's not like I necessarily meant the PC's would end the battle :3

Hi all. I don't really come around alot here but when I saw this, it intrigued me. For me, this was back in the day but I once did a mecha RP like this called Manticore Squadron, which had a similar concept just minus the nuke fallout of the world and the neural implants to pilot mechs -___-'. Still, it also had the different warring "companies" trying to control the world with the "resistance" stuck in the middle.

I haven't finished reading the IC's yet but I do wish to join if it's not too late.

@DarkReconTHere's still time. I'm not sure if you can join in on the current fight though. Maybe either your mech got bogged down with repairs or you come in late as support or something.
