Iṃgor Ẹrësîng, the son of his father Ūilrïăm Ẹrësîng, is only half an elf; his mother Ingrid Dahere is a human.
The Ẹrësîng family was a traditional elven merchant family in the port-town of Łėtŧætụŋe, where Ūilrïăm also first met Ingrid.
Their so called 'impure' relationship was shunned, although Ẹrësîng never was a noble family. Iṃgor was born into these circumstances.
He already was targeted at a young age, but his parents wouldn't allow that to happen on their watch. His mother, Ingrid, gave him a necklace she acquired on one of her journeys to distant trade centers. It was a rune to shield oneself from spells and the lasting effects some of them had. His father thought more tactically, if Iṃgor never runs into an attacker, he will never be attacked. As such, he tought him a spell, with which he can track any attackers, and other things if required. Time passed, while Iṃgor grew up, so did some purist movement gain strength, little by little. Eventually, it was clear, that he had to leave the town, which's trade was now slowly dying. His mother taught him how to cook and which common plants and fungi are edible, so he would not starve in the wilderness, if he'd not find a new home quickly enough. This included a spell to ignite small fires. His father taught him how to use a bow, how to make the correct baits for which animals, and how to hunt and defend himself against animals.
